How to prevent personal cars destruction: Increase Insurance

Multiply it ten times, I'm still gonna blow you up repeatedly. It didn't matter when I was flat broke, and it doesn't matter now that I'm filthy rich. Besides, if players want to wreck fools and not lose money, smart guys bank their cash on their second character before going on a destruction spree.

 

It doesn't matter if your insurance is 1k or 500k, some of us just don't care.

The funny thing is how triple insurance fees would affect roughly zero percent of the people they are meant to deter, because those either don't care about their modded money or know ways around paying insurance. So, the only people actually paying more would be those unexpectedly having to defend themselves against a Kuruma or people landing in water after trying a stunt. Good job, OP! With that kind of record you could work for the government.

Nope. If the flawed Bad Sport system isn't a deterrent, raising insurance costs certainly won't be either.

 

Insurance costs should be removed completely. Such an utterly pointless addition to a game like GTA.

R* allows every idiot in the land to hold over 100 explosives at one time. And forces us to play in public sessions with always on GPS blips. Dafuk did anyone with half a brain think was gonna happen? Insurance won't change anything....people get broke.. people still blow sh*t up anyways.

Rockstar should leave the insurance the way it is for expensive cars like the T20 and Osiris, but increase insurance on Muscle cars like the Phoenix, Blade, Dukes, etc... and the sports classics you find driving around town like the Peyote, Manana, Tornado. After upgrading these cars to the max at the mod shop they still only insure for a couple of grand, if that. It's ridiculous - some of these cars are my pride and joy and they should cost more if you blow them up.

thats the most logic "fix" to the broken badsport/insurance system.

 

during patch 1.16 the players would not get badsport/insurance for destroying a PV as long as that vehicle was occupied by other player.

 

destroyed an empty vehicle you got badsport and paid insurance.

 

the game actually felt good like that, too bad they "fixed" everything and when back to the bullsh*t system once patch 1.17 rolled out!

Exactly the point of this post. You shouldn't be forced into using the T20 or Osiris all the time because you know it's going to cost the trolls a lot of money in insurance. You should be able to use any personal vehicle and feel pretty safe to a point.

Nah that's stupid OP, you should never have to freaking pay insurance on your own vehicle EVER .. I don't care too much if people blow up my PV, although I find it annoying, but I do care I have to pay insurance on my vehicle if I put it in the water by accident, that's stupid and retarded of R*

I'm in BS for the 2nd time. I blew up at least 25 T20's in the past week and paid every for every insurance. I shouldn't get BS points for that. Illogical.
