How to prevent personal cars destruction: Increase Insurance

Since the game's release , a common problem is the other players explode your car, not caring about the insurance payment because the price is too low , the majority of players who do this have millions in the bank so they do not even care , They do it for ' ' fun ' ' .

One way to stop this (or drastically reduce ) is raise prices to three times more , say this only as an example and also an penalty if the player exploding cars multiple times.

I know that only with a call to the insurance you have the car back , but it is extremely annoying you drive with the car in the free roam and have it blown up.

Any other suggestions of you ? Agree with mine?

Just go passive if you don't want your vehicle blown up. GTAOnline is a scary place.

If a player inside a Kuruma is attacking me, and I exploded his car. Why the hell I should pay his insurance (and be bad player)?

No thank you. It's bad enough people use the Kuruma or use that sticky bomb trick where you end up paying for the insurance if you shoot at it. Alternatively you can always go on passive mode, (unless you're on ps3/360)

They did this already with the Low Riders.

The insurance on them runs 5000 - 6000... as opposed to the 150 - 300 on regular cars.

Didn't matter.

I was in a session two nights ago with some jerk who kept blowing up my Low Rider just cause he could. He was using some hack mod to blow up a ton of stuff, and just kept blowing up my low rider over and over and over... racking up the insurance costs.

I complained in chat, and dude was like. "f*ck insurance! I make mod money cause R* sucks an does nothing!" .. and then he spammed everyone in the session with explosions and falling Cargo Planes.

Technically the lowriders are considered different vehicles compared to the regular versions. And also chances are that guy is probably loaded with cash or transfered it into his second character. That right there needs to be changed.

If you shoot me from the comfort of your T20, I'm blowing you up. Fake money means sh*t to me.

Real money>> Fake money.

Real money buys food and stuff.

The cost of blowing up a players car during a mission, which is usually just an accident, should be lower than it is in free-roam. Double that crap in F-R, I don't care.

and that is why this game is becoming more and more of a lost cause every day. The cheaters/modders are taking over on all 4 consoles and PC, and Rockstar being the idiots that they are have gone and made it next to impossible to report the cheaters now that they only want us to report them through the in-game reporting system, in which you need basically everyone in a full session to report the cheater multiple times before Rockstar even notices it. Even if Rockstar does notice it, and look into it, we all know that Rockstar does next to nothing to the cheaters.

on topic - no matter what Rockstar does with the insurance it won't stop the trolls (and the moron cheaters that have glitched billions that Rockstar is too dumb to do anything about) from blowing them up. Also as already pointed out, that would punish the players that blow up players that are hiding in Armored Kuruma and are griefing people, and it would also backfire on the players that are having their cars blown up by the players hiding in the tank since (as far as I know) Rockstar has not even bothered to patch the thing where the tank users can blow up other players personal vehicles in a certain way that gets them off the hook for paying for it and putting the bill on to the owner of the cars.

there is also the fact that the griefers can go and move all their money to their second character and blow up personal vehicles without having to pay anything.

So until Rockstar smartens up and patches a lot of stuff and starts going after the idiots who have to exploit every thing in this game to gain an unfair advantage, nothing will change.

FrugalDangerMan

Some douche nozzle tried to "reverse" shoot me through the back of his T20 last night.....but he had a bounty, so I shot him with my grenade launcher.

Over the Mic he was like "HA HA. Enjoy the $24K insurance cost. LULZ"

I replied, "You had a bounty dumb a**. I didn't pay a cent" And just as I sad that the message that I collected his $9,000 bounty popped up.

"Thanks for the bounty."

I then went passive and air thusted in circles around his character till he rage quit.

Nope, they should just get rid of insurance all in all. It was a pretty dumb feature to implement into GTA Online where everyone is given tanks, fighter jets, rpg's and god knows what other sh*t they can utilize to eradicate your vehicle.

I'm still remembering back when I had lost a fully upgraded Massacro due to the infamous "insurance glitch" after some clown blew it up while I was exiting my garage on Weazel plaza.

DarkSavageDeathlyCloud

i coud care less if vehicles were insured for 100 000 k

plenty of money and if friendly people had the money to buy a mic and to talk over it i woud not need to blow up everyone coming to close just to make sure

further i will just first try to shoot you out of youre car and if the car becomes such a griever troll or i see my money dropping to fast i just let my secondary character have all the cash and not paying sh*t anymore for people thinking they are safe just because their cars are expensive.

It's gonna take a lot more than inflated insurance prices to stop the griefers and trolls in GTA. Think "more hugs from mommy" and "affirmation from daddy"...

Raise it to a billion dollars. I don't give a sh*t, money will be on my second character when you attack me from your Kuruma

I don't randomly blow up cars anyway, but I don't give a f*ck about the cost.. Come at me in your car or park it in my way and it's getting blown up.

I blew up 4 T20's in a session a few days ago. I'll blow up a car no matter the insurance cost, I won't think about it twice, although I do prever blowing up cars with $10K or less insurance.

No better feeling than blowing up a Kuruma troll that thinks they're invincible. :)

Lmao it's insurance, I shouldn't have to pay for blowing up your cars - the whole reason you have insurance is in case your car gets blown up smh
