How to Report Players?

Hello,

 

I would like to know where I can go to report players to Rockstar who are using mods online; specifically the invincible cheat during deathmatches. The report function in-game is useless.

 

I would like to report GravityXzz and za122112. They are PSN players (PS3).

Dont even bother, you will just be wasting your time. There used to be an email to send videos of cheaters too but I believe it was taken down. The in-game report feature is the only way and like said is useless. If you have any actual evidence like a video you can try posting on their support page but probably wont do anything.

I'm truly sorry to hear this bro. I just made the long overdue switch to PS4 for reasons such as these. That's not to say that PS4 isn't without it's own problems, but to me the extra money was worth it to escape the modded rolls, god mode, getting killed mid roll, recoil free weapons, pistols shooting rockets, teleporters, skript kiddies in general and all it entails, etc.

 

GTA on PS4 still has scumbag characters trolling the streets abusing passive mode, easy way out and other "tactics" to avoid actual combat, but in my opinion it was totally worth it. My only issue a week in has been the PS4 controller, which is totally a user error due to my hands and the touch pad.

 

If it is in your means and desire to make the switch, I recommend it as you don't have to worry about modders (for now). Just scumbag players, which may be frustrating, but tolerable.

You will be wasting your time reporting cheaters of hackers, I've reported tons of them in the past and rockstar don't seem to take any action against them, certain the ones who are over level 2000+ plus (obviously modded) and ones that have invisible body's, and ones that have rediclous K/D the only way they want you to report them is using the in game report feature, which is pretty useless as they still don't take any action against their accounts.

 

Next gen is pretty free of modders expect the people who are transferring modded accounts from last to next gen, with modded K/Ds & modded ranks.

I won't be buying a PS4 anytime soon as I only purchased my PS3 (second-hand) in January, primarily for this game. I will likely get the PC version when I build my new computer as I am in need of a new one.

Funny you mention that. These two jerks were taking the easy way out during the deathmatch. I'm not entirely sure what that achieved because they'd lose a point each time?

I'm not entirely sure what that achieved because they'd lose a point each time?From what I've heard by other people as well PC version is just as bad as last gen with all the modders and hackers, you best bet would be to play in invite only sessions or friends sessions, I used to run into modders all the time on last gen when they were spawning ufos, Ferris wheels, in online sessions, also have had them spawn random props in my garage which resulted in my vehicles getting destroyed which I had to pay for them. ^^ My experience from my PS3 days to now on the PC is that it's worse, in that script kiddies can do more to you (crash your game, etc.) that they couldn't do to you on the PS3. That will, of course, change temporarily as R* does another ban wave (whenever that may be)...but as per the norm, a month or two afterwards, they'll be up to their usual steaming pile of immature crap like blowing up everyone in the session and framing you for it, spawning large planes in downtown Los Santos, etc.:

 

 

 

Once in a while, you run into a script kiddie who's actually somewhat friendly (just goofs around on his own), and isn't a complete douche to other players; but it's rare.

I only ever use the report option if I see someone using the Invisible Torso glitch but as others have said it does not seem to do a lot or any action

I used to see quite a lot of people with invisible parts of their body. Sometimes, the only part that would be visible is the head.

 

Just recently, I was playing the Franklin's House deathmatch, and a modder decided to spawn in UFOs to the point where the game was running like dogsh*t, and I just had to leave.
