I'm only including options for the main games without the top down GTAs, GTAA etc. If you want to vote for these please choose "other". :)

EDIT: Typo in title. Can someone fix thanks?

My favorite ending is Out of Commission in GTA IV. I prefer this ending because Niko doesn't lose his cousin, and gets to kill two people who crossed him. The actual Out of Commission mission is nearly the same as A revenger's Tragedy, but the lead up missions to Out of Commission are better. First Niko gets to kill Dmitri where it all started which was a pretty emotional experience, I must say. Then Niko and Packie lose Kate, but Niko get's to kill "The Peg" on Happiness Island which, to be frank, I can't think of a more suiting place to end the game. And that dialogue when Niko tells Jimmy what the rest of the Families actually thought of him was priceless. We thought it the whole game and Niko delivered.

My least favorite ending is The Third Way from GTA V. First of all, that's not an appropriate name for a finale but that's an irrelevant gripe. I don't like this ending because everything is wrapped up lickity split like the game just couldn't wait to end. I didn't like how each protagonist killed one another's enemy, if you get me. Trevor killed Steve for Michael, Michael killed Stretch for Franklin, and Franklin killed Cheng for Trevor. Confused yet? I would have much prefered each guy to get their own revenge but what ever. The way Steve Haines was killed was okay but they dropped the ball on the other two. I wish Franklin (or TREVOR) would have had to fight through a few waves of Triads to ambush Cheng at a meeting in a warehouse or something, but instead we get a car chase and a few goons. Stretch's death was even worse. The dude was literally standing out in the open, like he didn't know Franklin was gunning for him or something. Ridiculous.

I'm slightly more favourable of A Revengers Tragedy as I feel it's more fitting for Dimitri to be last on Niko's hitlist, but in both instances with the Statue of Happiness in the background is so poetic.

After everything Niko had been through though, I couldn't stand to see him lose Roman too in the lead up. But yes, both endings are epic.

Why isn't this Multi-Choice? :/

There are a few I'd like to pick out of each Question Group.

  • Favorite: A Revenger's Tragedy. A intense, emotional, and fitting end to a such great story.

  • Least Favorite: The Third Way. Rushed, anti-climactic, uninspired and doesn't make any sense at all. It's filled with some moments, but overall just felt lacking as an ending IMO.

Sweet. :^:

Anyway, I voted for both of GTA IV's endings (as much as I like having my Cousin alive, and on the other hand keeping Kate McReary alive [i wish you could keep both of them Alive at the same time] in each Ending).

Also, it was an epic feeling taking on the Mendez Cartel Building in your stolen Hunter Attack Helicopter. Additionally, as much as I disliked hated having to kill the NADOC Prison Guard Officers (my Johnny wouldn't go on senseless rampages attracting unwanted Legal Attention), TLAD's final Mission Get Lost was a climactic ending for such a small DLC.

GTA V on the other hand was just, What. :bored:

It really didn't make much sense just like Options A, and B. However, I never went with the latter two in my initial playthrough.

My favs are End of The Line and A Revenger's Tragedy. Love them both equally for different reasons.

End of The Line was pure big-action fun, with that memorable cutscene of Big Smoke. You clear floors of gangbangers, make your way out of a burning building and chase Tenpenny while the city tears itself apart in the riots. And then it ends where it all started, in good old Grove Street. Epic.

A Reveenger's Tragedy was no less epic. Tbh I was bored at some points in the story and was wondering how the ending would turn out. And it exceeded my expectations. It's my favourite mission in IV, simply for the raw and gutting effect it has. The dialogue is powerful, action is cool. Statue of Happiness in the background completes the awesomness. Honestly one of the best endings in video games.

Get Lost and The Last Stand come next.

Least favourite is The Third Way. This mission was just underwhelming and dull. Just didn't feel like a proper conclusion IMO. Probably because the antagonists were really weak throughout the story.

V was the worse ending by miles the third way choice anyway. V seemed like a rushed game in general.

IV Revenge choice was my favourite ending I can't see Niko making a deal with Dimitri after the bs he pulled. Plus didn't care for Kate or Packie much.

Nah nah nah Gta 6

Most Favourite:

GTA 3 - The Exchange, mainly because this is a really fun mission.

GTA VC - Keep your friends close, awesome mission where you face Sonny himself.

GTA 2 - The Final Job (Industrial District), Similar to 'Keep your Friends Close', all 3 gang leaders go on a hunt to kill you, each equiped with powerful weapons, taking out all 3 will result in a riot spanning across the entire city.

Least Favourite:

GTA IV - A Revenger's Tragedy, the ending itself isn't bad at all, I just can't stand killing off Roman :(

GTA 1's Ending is really the only sh*tty ending in the series, but then again GTA 1 doesn't really have an interesting story so what am I expecting.

I voted for End of the Line, A Revenger's Tragedy, and The Time's Come as my favourites.

End of the Line is an amazing mission, and it really feels like the end. You really feel more experienced after your journey through San Andreas, and this mission feels like what you've been preparing for the entire time. You've got everything a good mission needs: a good shootout, an amazing chase, and a lot of chaos.

A Revenger's Tragedy is epic too. It has all the good mission thingies I listed above. I've always prefered the Deal ending, because I feel killing Jimmy P. isn't as satisfying as killing Dimitri. The dialogue is strong, and so is the voice acting.

The Time's Come is not as good as the other two in my opinion, but as much as I love Michael, this ending is one of my favs. It really completes the cycle. Franklin has achieved what he wanted, and wants out now. He needs to tie up loose ends, and betraying Michael is necessary. He really did learn from the best. The phonecall at the start of the mission adds even more tension. I liked how you could try to save him in the ending too. A big disadvantage is that Franklin probably wouldn't pick ending B, since I'm a huge canon-lover.

My least favorite ending is The Sicilian Gambit, only because it felt like a regular mission. Very little emotion and action. I liked the final conversation between Sal and Toni about the $500,000 (I think it was $500,000) though.

Love: GTAV (All endings), GTA TLAD, GTA TBOGT. GTAV 3rd ending felt good. Like when you eat a cupcake and finish all the icing left on it. You kill off all the main baddies in a 3-way (no pun intended), which was really cool. You finish off the last of their rent-a-hoods in a lovely gun battle, and then push a d*ckhead off a cliff. The other two endings are emotinally impacting in their own ways, killing off Trevor made me twitch a bit. Seeing how he was put down in gasoline. Like a monster trying to make the most out of it's last breath. Just seeing him burn like that.. quite saddening. And Michael's ending, oh dear. I needed a f*cking time out after that. TLAD's ending was also really good seeing as how you kill the person who tore apart the only thing Johnny cared about, The Lost. And then you put the club out of it's misery. F*ck who you gotta f*ck, Johnny. Lost but not forgotten. Okay, after that mood kill, GTAIV needed a bit of a cheer up. TBOGT does this.

Hate: I was almost about to say TLAD, but I realised I really like that game, just hate the protag, soo.. I'll go with GTA 3's. It felt bland, just a easy chopper battle and gun shooty bits. The start of 'The Exchange' was brilliant, with Claude looking really badass punching the dude in plain sight then dodging every single bullet and then heading over to Cochrane Dam. Then it got boring.

Aww, CTW. Why are you always lost in time?

So this what dream feels like, this is the victory we longed for?

Question doubting the worthiness of the whole adventure we just went through - asked with very sad, almost breaking voice by guy soaked wet by the cold autumn rain, standing on the feet of Statue of Happiness - symbol of USA, which was the beacon announcing new beginning in a country of endless possibilities. And then there is a body under his feet, covered in blood. Body of another immigrant, who will sell everybody for his personal gain - even his long time friend, a brother for who he owned his own life.

If we look at it, it was without a shadow of a doubt the best ending we get in the series so far. It's full of symbolism, when Niko is asking the most important question of his life while standing in the shade of symbol of happiness, but also well crafted - showing there's no such as happiness if you're dealing with death. Every of your decision has some weight, and there's no third way. And sometimes the price is simply too high.

I don't think we need to talk much about the worst ending - Third way from V was debated left and right and it's hard to find words to describe its lack of any qualities.

My favorite ending: Either GTA III or Vice City for first spot, and GTA V on third spot where the three protagonists kill Devin Weston.

Least favorite ending: GTA IV: TBoGT and the two endings of GTA V where Franklin kills either Michael or Trevor out of the blue. I also wasn't very happy about Tenpenny dying, but it was a really good ending in order to hate it.

Favourite: The Time's Come.

You start as Frank, and end as Frank. Good ending to me, same with the credit's music.

Least Favourite: Out of Commission.

Kate was a neglected character, which made it completely unreasonable to have an entire ending dedicated to her after such a long campaign.
