9 vehicles no longer able to be modified at LSC

My pre-lowrider Primo has suffered this fate, won't modify in Benny's ( I thought that was maybe because it had been done at LSC) so I took it their to sell and got the "You cannot modify this vehicle" message.

as much as I hate to say it, even with how big of a problem it is, Rockstar likely won't fix it. They don't seem to care about issues with personal vehicles and fail to realize how huge of issues that they are.

I can't modify my Zentorno, and this has been this way since the Lowriders update released.

Could it possibly have to do with crew emblems? If your car had/has a crew emblem before the update?

Rockstar support is (supposedly) actively investigating the issue. I hope to hear back in the next few days. I wish you guys were spared this fate of course but I'm also glad I'm not alone - maybe they'll do something.

Hmmm... When I was on PS3, on my second character, I filled three garages with only T20's (purchased from the website with modded $, not duped). Anyway, I wonder if they are all still sellable and if R* is doing this to keep people like me from having a backup plan if my modded $ gets taken.

like i said before, while people were reporting the issue, i ruled out patriot smoke as i have it on some vehicles and i could enter lsc with all my cars til like 2 days ago, i got the same message while trying to mod my entity which happens to have the patriot tire smoke since last year.

 

the common denominator with pretty much every user is the patriot smoke.

 

i know they changed the code for the smoke on the ifruit, probably trying to patch charles + ifruit.

alright I believe you now. I tried to bring my Adder into LSC and got that message and it is the only car that I have Patriot tire smoke on.

It's not the patriot tire smoke and clearing cache wont do anything & I know this sh*t started with the recent updates. One of them. I wish it were that easy to re buy my car but since it's happened to my Roosevelt no such f*cking luck for me. Had it since 2014 when I bought it from the site, so no duping involved. I've seen support threads about it on their site for a good while now every now and again. They just give some retarded ass answer as usual. I've since given up on being able to repaint my Roosevelt anymore. R probably will take 2 years to fix it if at all.

So, I'm very organized and i keep my cars for a very long time. I started on PS3 then transferred my 2 each characters to PC. Out of 60 cars, 32 of them are not allowed into Los Santos Customs, but only on PC. Everything works fine on the PS3. The only commom denominator is that all 32 have or have had the Patriot Tire Smoke on them. But it's not that simple. When I swap to my secondary character on PC, a few of the cars don't follow that norm. The duplicate Adder and a Rusty Rebel will enter Los Santos Customs but I can't sell the Adder. I also have Merryweather Mesa's for each character but the one under my secondary character can enter the garage while the other can't. (Haven't figured that one out yet). Anyway, they all have or have had the Patriot Tire Smoke and other than those three freak instances, that's the only thing that they have in common. I guess the only other thing is that they were purchased either during or before the 4th of July 2014 DLC. Considering the amount of content for the new gen consoles, it makes sense that everything on the PS3 is fine. We'll I hope this helps.
