1. What problems might I encounter transferring from X360 to XONE?

2. I have two characters: a. level 261 and b. level 9... will they both be available?

 

3. I imagine the data transfer is clouded (I've read online), but will all my cars/garage/outfits be coming, too?

4. Any idea how long the process takes?

5. I have modded money. Will that still be in my bank account?

6. I have a couple of ported cars (from single player). Will they still be in my garage?

7. Any thoughts or things I should be aware of?

my transfer was on the first days and if i remember correctly took like 10-15 minutes

everything went well, nothing lost etc.

i didnt have anything modded.. money or cars.

Likely little to no problems.

Yes, you can transfer both.

Yep everything transfers.

It's almost instantaneous.

I had over 70 million, it all transferred. Wasn't modded though, I owe some money to dead hookers.

Yes, my single player to multiplayer glitched cars remained in my garage.

Have read here on the forums that you need to wear your favorite glitched outfit to make sure it doesn´t disappear.

Yea, i just transferred no problem. Wore my cop outfit but it didn't matter, all my outfits made the trip.

5 & 6 will transfer no problemo, I've transferred over 240 mill all moded still in my bank account cars I have unique color combo's and moded in as well transfered no problem

 

And for my outfits,did not disappear also modded

1. You may encounter issues if you had SE or CE versions of the game. I had it on PS3 and everything the Tier-2 support guy has tried hasn't worked to unlock CE benefits on my PS4 account, so far.

2. Yes, you'll have them both

3. Yes, but your cars may move which garages they were in. Some people lost a car or two but I've only heard that from people that has bikes in the garage spots and cars on the bike rack.

4. It took a couple of minutes between transfer screens, but it's quick.

5. Probably yes. I had some glitched (not modded) money and I kept every dime

6. Yes. I still had my story-mode Dubsta2 and have used it to spawn 3 more gold/chrome ones in Online

7. Take pictures of everything before the transfer that you fear losing. Remember that it's a one-time chance to make the transfer. Aside from the CE things, all my cars, outfits, weapons, and money transferred with no issues.

I had no problems transferring 5 accounts so far. Both characters come over with all cars intact (if you have pure black window tint it will revert to none and you will be credited 10k) SP to MP cars transfer. Modded money transfers (i transferred a modded account with 300 million and ranks boosted to 140 and special cars fine)

 

Make sure to take pics of your stuff in case something goes wrong and you may want to wear your favorite glitched outfit if any

This exactly. Make sure you take some pictures of your glitched outfits.

 

That way, if you lose them, you can send R* a ticket with proof that you lost your glitched outfits. Then they will add them back to the game for you.

If it helps anyone, transferring from PS3 to PC also went very well--had one or two error screens, but clicked through them and everything came through fine. No missing money or items.

The only thing I would recommend is to take your time when it comes to being given the chance to modify your character's appearance. It's possible to request a second chance, but be sure you like how your characters look before exiting that aspect of the transfer process.

 

+1 on the recommendation of taking photos of your cars/garages, money, special event weapons (Gusenberg Sweeper, etc.) and clothing lists that show any special masks you have, etc.

It doesn't mean they won't transfer fine--just means you're ready to knock on R* Support's door if for some reason they don't.

hey again! just wanted to feedback and say THANK YOU to everyone who chimed in.

 

your feedback was fantastic and I'm grateful, especially with regard to "take photos" and "document everything."
while I didn't need it, it was smart advice – the kind that applies in real life, as well!

my exerience was a little unexpected, but no problems at all.

I just didn't expect the actual game install to take a couple of hours.
we're on WIFI, which is the most likely culprit, but still, it was long.

 

Once installed and all updates realized, the transfer was quick... just a couple of minutes.

we've been playing and enjoying the new version like crazy over the past two days!

so, again, thank you to everyone. cheers!

The only way i could fix this is by switching from wired to Wi-Fi. Sucks ass though.

1.for character creation , you'll find yourself a difficulty of making an desired characted due in NG , more complex than LG . this might help you : http://gtaforums.com/topic/750224-xoneps4-learn-how-to-make-an-attractive-female-character/( note : if you accidentally create ugly character , you'll given second chance per account . third one can be asked from R* )

2.if you stick with NG character than transfered , then NG will take transfer's place , so you can't have both transfer and NG ( on bright side , transferring gives you bonuses )

3.as far i remember , possessing bicycle might replace one of your PV as bicycle ( this bug perhaps is irreversible )

4.less than 5 min

5.unless cross platform or PC

6.any SP data will not be transfered

7.enjoy the " ultimate realism " , first person , lightning , exclusive DLCs , R editors where you can make movies or " training " , grass , shiny graphics , internal recorder ( NG platform only ) / clip recording ( NG & PC only ) , abyss of the sea , dense traffic of sun soaked metropolis , whale , mineshaft , NG mysteries , so on

i dont hold any buttons

 

tapping down 2 times to expand the map while taping X to run it start recording!

 

if the command was 2 taps down + hold X to record i wont have issues but thats not the case.

I regularly expand the map whilst running. Never had this happen.

i soldved this by letting the memory get full!

 

so the game wont start recording.

 

 

to be honest, the idea of having video editor in the game is nice and all but having this annoying recording command is stupid, even more stupid is the fact that it have no option to turn it off.

 

this consoles come with recording function built-in, if i really wanted to record something i'd use that feature.

If you can affored next gen then do it. I went back to the ps3 a while back for a look and it was like a f*cking cartoon next to the way it is now.

 

I remember thinking that it was the best thing I had ever seen. PS4/Xbox1 DESTROYS last gen.
