Should Rockstar change badsport rules?

Hi guys,

I'm making this topic because I don't like the way the rockstar punishes clean players. If you blow up a personal vehicle, you will get a bad sport for that even if you have paid their insurance. I beleive that its only good for the rockstar if we blow up vehicles because thats generates them more money. Id love fly my hydra hunt everyone down, its a criminal game so i also expect others to kill me destroy my car my pegasus vehicles whatever. I always know that anything could happen in free roam. One night i was killing players with my hydra over and over spent nearly 4k just for other's insurance. I didn't mind the money because if i run out of money ill just buy bullshark cards. But they have also put me to bad sport lobby for 2 days where I barely could see any other player, plus I wasn't able to play together with my friends.

I don't see the point why they need to give us a bad sport for it, if my car gets destroyed i just phone up the insurance company request my vehicle and its here next to me in less than half minute.

Another thing is... when somebody tries to kill me with a Kuruma, how am i not supposed to blow him up with a RPG?

If you don't wanna die or get your vehicle destroyed put yourself in passive mode and nobody will ever care about you. it also wouldnt be a stupid idea that when you are in passive put your car in passive as well even if you are not sitting in your car.

Let me know what do you think about it. I'm sure there are other players who like to fly with hydra i think its the best part in the game.

Fun thing is: if you blow up a couple other players' cars, you're a bad sports. If you use tons of mods and scripts, make all the players on your session unable to move, blow them up continuously and spawn random objects on them, it's totally fine.

I've changed the topic title to a question rather than a statement. Regarding the reports, I'm not going to move this to the Wishlist Thread as it is a valid question (even though it has been asked many times before) and does invite discussion.

The secret to avoiding BS is to do a few races/missions/survivals when you gain dodgy player status. I disagree it should be left as it is as a punishment so players like you meet players like me! 2days hahaha you haven't been broke in. Try 14months in total BS lobbys are full you just have to find them by switching then get ready to hunt or be hunted!!!

The only thing I don't agree with is your Bad Sport stay extending while blowing up vehicles in Bad Sport.. That's the dumbest sh*t I've come across while in there.

I think the rules should be changed, but in the opposite direction. Make it far, far harsher on trolls and griefers.

i was trying to find a lobby with players but ive only met with 2 guys. one of them put a proxy at my garage set bounty on me and waiting for me to come out in his hydra , the other guy was friendly we were just driving around together take selfies. i dont see the point to kill each other if there is only one guy in the session. what console do u play on? im on xbox one havent seen many players in bad sport.. it was sucks.

ps3 for now what i would of done is drank myself to death ,reprawn at the hospital,off radar,buzzard.........hunt that hydra down...kill him,ring lamar,merryweather on him and kill the other player for wanting to take selfies with me!

 

Then i would watch the hydra players moves as 99% of the time they will try to get a plane again just as you would!

Nope. People like you are the reason i wish there was friendly lobbies where you could kill NPC's but not other players for people who aren't so small minded and see a lot more to the game then just killing, then put people like you in some big f*ckpit where you can kill each other all you wan't and not give a sh*t about what the devs put in the game for you.

pretty smart move, however i was in my garage located next to the airport where is no drink.. thats where i spawn as default.

Man these threads never go anywhere. You are always gonna have those crying how bad sports deserve to be there and the bad sports saying they dont.

R isnt changing anything. Just do like mentioned above. When you hit dodgy take it easy and do some missions and youll be back to griefing in no time.

You go to bs for blowing up cars in a gta game. R logic at its finest.

If you are a clean enough player (read as GET GOOD OR GET WRECKED) you can blow up what you want without worry.

 

I've never been in bad sport and I won't think twice about blowing your t20 to firery cinders.

 

 

Keep things the way they are and learn to play within the guidelines.

Tbh, I've blown up tons of PVs and I've never landed in a bad sports lobby. I don't think it is as easy to end up there as people say it is. If you're going around in a jet blowing up every blip, yeah, you're going to end up in a bad sports lobby because you are a bad sport.

 

I play differently than most people do, though. I usually only retaliate to attacks.

Not everyone in bad sport is a jet griefer.

Guys lets be honest here. I can kill a rank 10 endless times without consequence, yet I would not be considered a bad sport. On the other hand if I blow up 50 cars OCCUPIED OR NOT...thats right! I dont even have to kill the players themselves and I will be considered a bad sport?

Id love to hear how you guys justify that but I wont because there is no sensible explanation.

The last time I was in bad sport, between my 2 sentences just under a year apart I had blown up 633 cars.. So it definitely takes more than a "couple."

Good thing the OFW menu can just remove all that stuff and I am clean again.

As much as i used to hate it, I'd have to say bad sport is a necessary evil. It can be abused though. If I'm in a crew war and an opponent is listed as dodgy player, I'll report him right into badsport... which is clever but not right and shouldn't be a possibility. In gta, if it can be done and will give someone an advantage, it will be done. I've had it happen to me and now I'll gladly dish out that old coups de grace to some other vetted freeroam warrior.

 

The best way to avoid bs is to:

 

Always be trading commends with friends

 

Always check your status when you're blowing up pvs.

 

Have other accounts (it's free to make as many as you want) to go crazy on.

I've only one problem with bad sport. Why can't I join jobs with clean players?

They should at least fix the silly lag issue that happens to me often... I'll see a bounty, blow up the vehicle the bounty is traveling in... Get hit with a bad sport, then when they respawn I get the bounty payment.
