Gnocchi Flip Flops

I'm going to try something a little different. Explain myself a little more into why I'd want these cars and how I'd like them to make it into the game. It's Thanksgiving and I ain't got nothing else to do, so here goes nothing. :^:

Now I think sports sedans are awesome. I'm sure I've made that very clear and it must get annoying. But what can I say? We live in a world today where a 2 ton family sedan can hit 60 mph in the same time - or less time than - it took a full blown super car only a decade ago. The Tesla Model S can do it in 3.2 seconds. The E63 AMG can do it in 3.4. The BMW M5 can do it in 3.7. But what really amazes me is that Audi's biggest sedan - the brand new Audi S8 Plus - can do it in just 3.2 seconds. Audi and the press releases claim 3.8 seconds but Motor Trend have shown that Audi often underrates their times. Motor Trend got 3.5 out of the older and less powerful S8 and their prediction is 3.2 for the new one which is a 600 horsepower monster. Now let's compare. The Lamborghini Murciélago. It took 3.4 seconds. I think the Ferrari F430 was the same.

Many super cars in the early to mid 00's took 3 in a half seconds or less to reach 60 mph. But the sports sedans? They usually took 5 seconds or more and the more affordable "sports" sedans took 6 to 7 seconds and that was considered quick. Now, most super cars do 60 in just under 3 seconds or around 3 seconds flat. But sports sedans have caught up. Most are in the 4 second range but the big dogs, they're in the 3 range. Audi RS, BMW M, Mercedes AMG. Even Cadillac's V line. Now usually there's a catch and that's handling or the fact that they looked lame. Now, that's not the case. The brand new Cadillac CTS-V is about as fun to drive as a Corvette, the BMW M sedans are driving precision and the Audi's provide so much grip that it's ridiculous. And god they look so mean now. Big intakes, retractable spoilers, sloped roof lines. They're pretty much perfect and practical. You still want to have a sports car but now you don't have to deal with having a reliable and practical daily driver that bores you to death.

Now I don't quite think Rockstar thought of this. Most of the four doors in V are okay but not really performers. The Exemplar comes very close but it's not Sports Category ready. The Oracle II and Felon and Jackal are sporty but not really sports sedans. Everything else is just average. The four door stereotype. They're slow and handle bad performance wise. I like four doors but I want power too.

Enough rambling on about sports sedans. I here's what I think would be a great and original addition to the game that would cure my sports sedan cravings:

Obey Mörder 4.0

Let's begin with the design. As we all know - or at least should know - most HD era cars are based on two or more vehicles. For the Obey Mörder 4.0 I'd like it to be based solely around two. First the Audi S8 Plus itself.

21531576040_c5a69d2224.jpg

That would be mainly the front end and the side profile of the Mörder. The Audi S8 Plus is a very subdued design. It is very much capable of super car acceleration but you wouldn't know it. Aside from the red S badges, the highly aesthetic rims, the flashy chrome and matted accenting and the quad pipes in the back, it just looks like a very luxurious and modern German limousine. That in itself is great. Lots of style and sophisticated modern accessories such as LED lighting and big grills and other various bold design cues. But you wouldn't normally think it could beat a Porsche at a stoplight. The design, it just doesn't scream "I'm fast" and for some that's a little bit bland. To the average player, it would be a bit of a turnoff. So my idea is to combine the design with something a little more flashy.

18141294309_73bf9801f1.jpg

The Maserati Quattroporte GTS. That would be mainly the back end of the Mörder but it would also show in the side profile and bits and pieces of the front end. Definitely in the rims and curvaceous rear haunches. The Quattroporte is more of a form over function car. It does 0-60 in 4 and a half seconds - just over a second slower than the Audi but still quick - yet it sounds glorious and it undoubtedly looks a lot more stylish. I think to attract players, blending stealth and subtlety with a bit of style would do it. The unnecessarily stylish rims and the exaggerated haunches, the big taillights, the chrome quad pipes. It would give the car a very modern look that would reel in a lot of people because it would just look big and fancy and new, it would do it.

How would the design work? My idea is to just mix the two up. Of course it wouldn't be an Obey - Audi - without that classic Audi rear passenger window design as seen on the Tailgater. Give it big flashy LED lights in the front and the back. A big modern grill. A big Obey symbol on the front grill and smack dab in the middle of the rear trunk lid. Then slap some 4.0 badges in Italics on both front fenders and on either lower corners of the rear trunk lid. Put Mörder on the other side and in small font on the grill. To give the design a little oomph and stealth, have the font look like this with a slightly exaggerated and red ö: Mörder That's what I loved the most about IV's car, their badges. Rockstar put so much work into making the cars look real without being real. They did this with the badges. On the exterior and in the cockpit.

Why the name? Obey Mörder 4.0. Mörder in German means Murderer and I feel that's a very stealthy name. The German version of the word looks and sounds stealthy and so it's very fitting for a stealthy looking ride. 4.0 is there because of the engine. A parody of how Audi uses 4.0 twin-turbo V8s.

On the inside, of course Rockstar doesn't really like to give new cars brand new cockpits. So why not take an old one and spice it up like what they did with the Enus Windsor's version of a Benefactor Schafter derived cockpit?

500px-Comet-car-interior-gtav.jpg

Here's the idea. Take a Pfister Comet's cockpit. It is perfection, a blend of German sportiness and elegance. Take it and adjust it to fit a four door layout:

1) Keep the sports seats and stitching. They're unique and give the sedan a very modern and sporty look. Also keep the carbon fiber and the stick.

2) Change the lower dashboard, leather door panels and all of the seats to a greyish white. German sports sedans almost always have this color scheme as an option. It just screams stealth without detracting from the luxuriousness of the cabin.

3) Make the gauges white. Just more stealth, why not? I'd like blue for elegance though but white would be sick.

4) Add Mörder embroidery to the headrests and door kick plates.

5) Of course add some Obey badges.

Of course in the back it would be regular with but with the Comet's carbon fiber door panels. I would say add some TV's to the headrest like with IV's mobster Dundreary Landstalker but I highly doubt they'd do that. Would be cool to see though. But with all of the details I listed, it show properly represent a real sports sedan's cabin.

14594741727_7e1de0c2bc_n.jpg

Under the hood - and this matters now that we can open hoods and trunks and doors - why not give it a sporty looking engine. I mean it is a powerful 4.0 V8 after all. A Comet's four cylinder model work work out just fine.

500px-Comet-GTA4-engine.png

And now comes the fun part, the performance. I know there's a Sedans Category for four doors and I know there's a Coupes Category for both coupes and "sporty" sedans. But this is not some "sporty" sedan or some affordable "sports" sedan. This is a full blown sports sedan. Therefore I'd like the Obey Mörder 4.0 to be in the Sports Category.

Acceleration wise, with no hesitation I'd like the Mörder to bring it. Progen T20 level acceleration but with the grip that AWD provides. No lag, just a hard launch. I'm not kidding. Quick dual clutch shifts with only a tiny bit of lag due to the weight of this thing. Now at first that sounds like it would kill the Sports Category and people wouldn't want that. But here comes the catch. The handling. Firstly I'd like there to be a lot of feel and weight in the steering. Nothing too light or lifeless. It needs to feel sporty I mean it is in the Sports Category. But come on, it's a big car. It has to understeer. No terminal understeer but it won't take corners like a Carbonizzare. Instead, it'll feel more like a Dewbauchee Exemplar. So essentially, Exemplar steering and handling and T20 acceleration. It'll launch real good in the races but suffer in the corners but with really good skills and luck you can win.

On the road - where this car is more suited - it keeps itself engaged. I know a lot of players hate imperfect handling. So this thing needs to be fun to drive. Not too unrealistic but you know, it can't be boring. And you gotta think, this thing could be the absolute perfect getaway vehicle. It seats four players - think heists - and it has a great launch and a lot of grip.

But overall, I'd like the Mörder 4.0 to be a good cruiser. Very subdued and luxurious. But as soon as you mash on the throttle, there won't be any hesitation, it'll just go. It would be a cool car to carry people around in, to show off, to use as a getaway vehicle, or to just relax in and drive around the map - freeways especially - with a bit of power. I prefer the latter. And I'll just leave this here.

The sound, well both the Audi S8 and Maserati Quattroporte sound good. The Audi has got a sports exhaust, probably artificial though, while the Maserati? Well it's a Maserati, it sounds like sex. I'd like the Obey Mörder 4.0 to sound like sex. But quiet at the same time like, well you know how the T20 sounds different depending on what speed you're going? That's what I'd like with the Mörder 4.0 to be like. Quiet and smooth at low speeds. But as soon as you mash the throttle, give it a growl. A loud growl that sings. Like a Dewbauchee Exemplar but with more soul and a lot louder. And just to make some players melt, give it slightly less exaggerated Benefactor Stirling GT type pops and crackles as you lift off of the throttle after a hard launch. Oohhh that would be perfect. And in case my explanation didn't help, here's a video to show you what I'd like the Mörder to sound like.

The pricing is very simple. Both the Maserati and Audi are around 140 grand US dollars. But this is GTA: Online. The Lampadati Furore GT is based on a Maserati GranTurismo which is 140 grand but it costs 440000. Who cares? Who cares what the real prices are? We're all rich now too and because of the Mörder's blend of practicality and performance and it's originality, it should be no less than $550000 or $600000. No less.

The mods shouldn't be basic. I'd like the ability to mod it further than most of the four doors in this game. Spoilers, splitters, exhausts. Grills, maybe even tint the lights since a lot of these cars can be found with tinted lights in the real world. Just give it something that allows players to make it theirs.

Don't get me wrong. I don't expect Rockstar to do anything like this but I know they're capable of it. As soon as they started adding vehicles to the current-gen versions of the game, I knew something was up. The detail just took an increase especially with Ill-Gotten Gains: Pt 1 & 2. The Progen T20 took me away. So much detail, a unique exhaust note, unique handling, no missing details. It was awesome. And they cared so much about making it unique that there were very few reused bits and pieces. Yes the interior and engine were reused but what else? That's it. It even had unique wheels. And they cared so much about the detail that behind the seats there is detailed carbon fiber. Above the engine is a T20 badge.

I'm not asking for much. Just a sedan in the Sports Category with typical Rockstar level design details and a reused interior but adjusted a bit just like what they did with the Enus Windsor's interior compared to the Schafter. I'm not even asking for too much performance wise that isn't possible. T20 acceleration, Exemplar steering, a unique engine note with some spice added to it?

That's it. And it is very much possible. I hope y'all enjoyed my addition. If not, I don't mind.

So what's your speculation about the performance of the night shade? Couldn't tell much from Dragoon's short video.

I expect it to challenge the Dominator for the top spot of the Muscle class. Similar to how the Stirling GT did it. With superior handling compared to its counterparts.

I really hope the Nightshade looks a little less awkward in it's final form. Currently the rims are downright hideous and there are a few missing details.

Tuner Class

Whilst some of these cars are just fine in their classes, offers suffer dreadfully; and I've devised a solution. This and classic ''stinger'' from vice city.

These classics definetely need a return, as well as delorean and Lambo countach, as a part of the "drug deals update" or something to do with the 80ies inspired dlc.

Would like a stock or new comet, feltzer with a retractable top, as well as Rolls royce drophead.

Corvette C3, maybe a classic ford mustang.

Some new Ferrari, especially an F12 would be welcome indeed, as a rival to the massacro.

Some proper lambo aventador based pegassi too.

Some cars from previous GTAs need to come back, like Rolls royce cabrio. They could actually include that, some old rolls, Jag E-type, new F-type and the new Aston from the new JB movie as a part of ''old world snobbery pack''.

ALL THE CARS FROM THE DLC LEAK ARE VERY WELCOME INDEED.

Obviously some Japanese imports since the game begs fro them with all the tuning options.

Oh and for me, this is a must- Mercedes SL 1980ies, convertible obviously.

And maybe F355 ferrari with popup headlights.

this is all that I can think of (like the MOST I can think off). They already have included so much that I sometimes forget what cars are there.

It should be slightly bigger than the Schwartzer, and a little faster than the Schafter IMHO.

Parts of it were confirmed later by Funmw2. Many of the reputable people here, Metal, Yan, etc are leaning torwards it being more real than fake.

I just now cleaned up the OP if anyone cares lol.

We need more sport cars from the 80's and 90's. There is big gap in the car selection between the cars from the 70's as sports or muscles, and the modern super cars and sport cars.

I'll have to disagree with Intruder based on an Infiniti. Sure it might look like a Q45, but Intruder has a 4.3-liter V8, which is most likely based on Toyota's 3UZ engine used in cars such as Lexus LS430, which is the car I believe Intruder is based on. With Warrener I can agree. Stratum should be an Annis too, if you ask me.

I really like this car, real life and in-game.

It looks like a lengthened F355 with Testarossa side vents in my opinion. Really nice.

Tuner Class

Whilst some of these cars are just fine in their classes, offers suffer dreadfully; and I've devised a solution. Whilst the likes of the Elegy RH8 or the Kuruma may still dominate, this class will allow for the less extravagant, lower-end vehicles. I've also taken the liberty of placing a few of the cars into the correct Manufacturers, these have been Highlighted below.

  • Emperor Feroci - 1997 Lexus GS
  • Dinka Blista - 2001 Civic Type-R
  • Dinka Blista Compact - Honda CRX
  • Fathom Intruder - 2002 Infiniti Q45
  • Emperor Sultan- 2001 IS300
  • Maibatsu Penumbra - 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse
  • Karin Futo- 1986 Toyota Corolla
  • Declasse Asea - 2002 Chevy Aveo
  • Declasse Premier - 2004 Chevy Cobalt
  • Annis Elegy RH8 - 2007 Nissan GTR
  • Vapid Uranus - 1982 Ford Sierra
  • Maibatsu Kuruma - 2010 Mitsubishi Evo X
  • Bollokan Prairie - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
  • Dinka Chavos - 2007 Honda Accord
  • Annis Warrener - Nissan Skyline
  • Dinka Hakumai - 1980 Honda Prelude
  • BF Club - 1999 VW Golf
  • Karin Dilettante - 2010 Toyota Prius
  • Karin Asterope - 2006 Toyota Camry
  • Schyster Fusillade - Chrysler Crossfire
  • Dinka Jester - 2005 Honda RSX

I'll have to disagree with Intruder based on an Infiniti. Sure it might look like a Q45, but Intruder has a 4.3-liter V8, which is most likely based on Toyota's 3UZ engine used in cars such as Lexus LS430, which is the car I believe Intruder is based on. With Warrener I can agree. Stratum should be an Annis too, if you ask me.

I really like this car, real life and in-game.

Thanks man! I'm just trying to give the cars a solid basis that corresponds with their manufacturer, if there's any other inconsistencies; let me know! :)

Does anyone know what car is the Stratum based on?

I just want a 7 seater van thats storable, some classic angular classic super cars like the classic turismo/ferarri f40, an car that can move over water, way more hardtop convertible cars, especialy in the super class and compact class and way more competitive 4 door coupes or non competitive 4 door sports/super cars

im thinking, lamborghini estoque, porche panamera, some fast 4 door audi, volkswagen gulf convertible,....such things

Also some classic audi tt, a modern audi tt and porche 914, even if it was just for the fact there arent enough obey cars and pfister.

Speaking of that, some more ocelot/jaguar cars woud be great...especialy some classic ones and maybe even a jaguar super car :)

Stratum front end is most commonly associated with the R32 Nissan Skyline. Idk what the wagon part is. Probably an Accord wagon or something.

Not only for him but for the super class's own good. i don't want to speak for everyone since many people seem to hate it every time R* adds another supercar to the game but like it or not a 918 would be a perfect addition to supers. T20, Turismo R, Pfister (insert a number here). and there you go, you now have the most famous hypercars in the world currently.
