These were definitely the 80s nostalgic times for police cars in America. Nowadays, it's dodge chargers, Ford explorers, Ford crown Victorias, Ford F150 interceptors, Dodge Durangos, Chevy Caprices, Chevy Tahoes, and Ford Tauruses. The new Ford explorer interceptors now have 400hp from a 3.5L V6 twin EcoBoost and a 10 speed automatic transmission. 0-60 is 5.6 seconds and a 150+mph.

Perfect recent example, what kid was asking for a 1977 Dodge Monaco?  Are 12 year olds normally big fans of the Blues Brothers? Or of late '70's sedans?

 

Another good example is the inclusion of Scott Storch, James Iovine, and Dr. Dre. 

 

I could go on and on listing these things, in fact, I know somewhere in my post history already exists such a list. The vast majority of "meme content" in the game is targeted towards Gen X and Millennials, not Gen Z or Alpha

 

Further, multiple reports on microtransactions and who spends on content have already been published and for the entire industry it's Gen X and Millennials that spend the most on games. And that's separately. Combine those two generations make up the bulk of game, dlc, and microtransaction sales. 

 

I get that it's easy to blame kids, it's what every generation does, blame the ones after them, or before them in some cases, but either way it's never their fault. But in this case it is. 

 

So, we agree that what they add is what will sell the most shark cards then. That's the main point that I was getting at. Ultimately, it doesn't matter who they are selling to, just that it sells - I assumed that, like many other games, the target audience (from a microtransaction standpoint) is under 18s.

However, I don't remember the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future being able to fire missiles, same with KITT... or the Lamborghini Marzal / Espada, etc etc.

So the theory of predicting what will be added to GTAO based on what will make money is still valid, but it just needs to be based on what middle aged men want, then. This is related to what I said about Top Gun, pretty much everyone thinks the films are great (especially generation X and millennials who grew up watching the original!) so I am surprised nothing was added.

 

Speaking of 80s aircraft, I really wish there was a more accurate Airwolf; customisation for the Swift.

Agreed, wouldn't mind if we get a blend of both classic and modern police themed vehicles, maybe other police vehicles from around the world as well, also civilian variants of them as well, and other variants from other types of services like fire department, medical services, news station variants, airport themed and so on, so yeah

I'm not in disagreement that they are trying to sell shark cards. They are a business after all, not a charity. 

I just hate this often repeated mantra that "they are pandering to kids". The only kids they are pandering to is those kids in their 30's and 40's.

A new manufacture would be nice. I used Truffade because it's the one French manufacturer already in the game. 

As to high and low end, we have Lampadati which is Maserati/Alfa Romeo/Lancia/De Tomaso. Which makes them a manufacturer of everything from high end luxury cars to economy compacts.

Yeah, I see that, Truffade should be for high end vintage cars, Lampadati is more a mix of high tier, mid tier and low tier vehicles class and also Italian with an exception of the Pigale, also Grotti is a mix of Ferrari, Fiat and other Italian companies that remains, haven't heard of Rockstar's knock off of AMC, that's new to me, thought it was Declasse for both Chevys and such, Classique may be based on a dead brand but so is Imponte, just I want the Stallion be back under Classique and have other vehicles from Oldsmobile under that brand too and any vehicle suitable under Classique, also I know Stanier is Ford, but love an LTD Crown Vic as a Stanier classic, so yeah

The AC/American Company is in the 3D universe and we are in the HD universe, and so it is too close and too on the nose as well as closely similar to AMC which are spelt the same but minus the M or the Motor from the name, so Rockstar cannot name it that because too close or similar to the real life version of the company, so most of the AMC cars like the Pacer/Rampsedy are in the Declasse company then such, but we do need an AMC based company, so yeah

Also, Speedoph*le haven't been loved as other manufacturers, we need some ATV's, Amphious, off-road and naval vehicles for that brand like hovercrafts and such, so yeah

Given the whole issue around the Jester name and how it took form of a NSX concept before returning to the Supra, R* should just make a new name like:

 

Dinka Nexus - Acura NSX Type S (2022)

 

 

Dinka Nexus Classic - Acura NSX 1st Gen

 

 

They could do the same naming format with the Bugatti Centodieci (Truffade Centurion) and EB110 (Truffade Centurion Classic) - the latter is way overdue!

 

 

I'm quite happy we got more Obey love with this update, the 10F was way overdue. NGL when I saw the Omnis E-GT next to the paragraph about more tuners in the newswire, I thought we were getting the Audi TT / Obey 2F. Maybe next time!

 

 

And if Michael is returning in the next update, he could trade his Obey Tailgater (Audi A6) for the Audi A8, the most premium executive sedan in the Audi lineup. And yes, it would have access to  Imanti Tech and Agency upgrades as well:

With older vehicles being revisited or getting Benny's upgrades, I'd really love if the Casco got some personal upgrades. Whether as just new modifications added; or if they gave it a full Benny's makeover

I know the Casco isn't fully a Volvo P1800, but this would be a great upgrade for a nice restomod build.

All along the coast of Southern California are oil rigs. They should add them in the game with a similar function as hangers. The Smugglers Run II. Purchasable oil rigs that allow to us to customize watercraft and run water based missions out of. Maybe a salvage/smuggling business. Plenty of opportunity for all sorts of nautical vehicles and to use a large, mostly unused section of the map.

I would love to see R* do an interpretation of a lore friendly Acura brand at some point. The A8 is highly likely to be Michael’s new vehicle.

Agreed, I want Oil Rigs in the games, also maybe a mission where we storm enemy Oil Rigs, probably own by the Duggans and steal or blow them up, wish they added Oil Rigs in this update tbh, maybe a future update when we are reaching the end of GTA Online cycle 

 

Also, Cruise Liners or those big ships where we raid or do heists on them as well as go and explore on them, make them bigger then our Yachts, so yeah

Love all the list, but I don't think Rockstar will do anything with the Jester's like renaming one of them or such, but love to see the 1st gen NSX in the game, maybe a Retro Custom or it's own model but still called the Jester in some way 

 

Love the selection of Audis, but I'll add a new Rocoto which is based on a later Q series model like a later Q5 or maybe a Q7, Q3, Q2, Q4 or Q8 inspired design, or add all the Q Series SUV's as well 

 

Maybe some classic Audis like the 100 Coupé S, Quattro (Stock Omnis), S2, S5, Coupé B2, B3, Cabriolet, 80, 90, F103, 50, 200, 5000, classic versions of the A Series cars and so on, so yeah

Got it spot on there. Manchildren I guess. Whatever really. 

For a a game so amazingly detailed GTA has this weird half-done minimal effort feel to it now. Really lacking in the QoL stuff. Getting back on-topic, I wish that the newer vehicles that regular people would use in real life would spawn in as part of the world, making SA feel more diverse and varied. Goes for stuff other than cars too. I think it would really increase the fun factor of freemode! Wouldn't be that difficult or costly either for what I would consider a huge improvement. 

A non weaponised, cheaper version of the Toreador would be great also.

Love if Rockstar calls the Gladiator in game if add it a Mesa Grande because the new Gladiator resembles as a pick-up truck version of the Wangler, also love a new Wangler or an old school or classic one tbh, also love to the modern and classic version of the Wagoneers, love to see the Jeep Renagede, a Grand Cherokee, Modern Cherokee, a Commache pick-up, an old Willy's Americar Coupé with a dragster and Lowrider or Hot Rod versions as a Benny's vehicle, Willy's Americar Wagon and Pick-up truck, Willy's Aero, Willy's Jeep Station Wagon, Commander's and any old, modern and concept vehicle of any Jeep, Willy's, Overland and Crossley vehicles for the Canis brand in game

Well It's been 1 years later, when Bravado Howitzer based off Dodge Magnum, released in end of April at last year.

So I decided to call her under this way.

Imagine in the next GTA we be like ... we want those cars in GTA V/Online. Where is my Torero XO? I miss driving the Corsita on day one! Remember when they finally added the Vigero VX after almost 9 years into TCE DLC ... we want the current gen of it.

 

Whist most driving games release iterations every 2-3 years, GTA V has been out so long that the generations of car models have changed and what was current at release in 2013 (e.g. Dominator / Mustang) is now considered outdated. They could just pack DLCs with current versions of OG vehicles (alongside certain classic counterparts).

 

They have even modeled concept cars and it has been so long that their production models have been released. So now we are stuck with just their concepts in game -
