2013-2014 Shelby GT500 was the last real mustang imo. It's beautiful imo. Good performance for the buck back then doing 202mph from a supercharged 5.8L V8 662HP.

2022 Cadillac CT5-V blackwing 

This beast is amazing around the road course. It's quicker than the new M5 CS around the track as well. It has a 6.2L V8 supercharged with 668hp and a 6 speed manual transmission plus a 10 speed automatic transmission option. 

 

CT5-V blackwing in this video was manual btw and still was quicker. That's how good the chassis is.

Blackwing did extremely well against the C8 despite being a 4 door sedan. 

However, the Cadillac CT5-V blackwing is no match for the GT500

When you buy a remaster, you're saying: I liked that. I'm okay to pay again for another slice of the same cake.

They had me for the Dukes, Stallion, Blista Compact and first person on PS4, not gonna lie... But that sh*t is ridiculous now. I have a job and things to do. I ain't gonna bother wasting my money to buy a PS5 and a lazy remaster of a remaster

for a few cars and "eXpAnDeD AnD EnHanCeD GrApHiSmS". I'd rather work hard in real life and keep my money to buy myself a Gran Torino IN REAL LIFE when i'll have the time and money to treat it properly.

 

I hate this fast food mentality of "as long as something keeps coming, i'll eat it". They can't get me with a shiny new car anymore. I have sh*t to do. It's painful to see Rockstar falling so low and treat their consumers customers like garbage...

Or it would be if i cared... People should understand that if they said NO for once, the people "feeding you" would have to think again before serving you with rehashed garbage. I'm not buying that sh*t again!

Their job is to entertain me, not to serve me the same sh*t they did 10 years ago. No cars in the world is going to change that. Unless they can put an entirely new story with new characters, a new map with new weapons,

new vehicles, new animations and gameplay mechanics and graphisms into the game, i ain't buying a 10 year old game again when i know they could put out masterpieces after masterpieces but won't, because of pure lazyness.

As long as this shody display of inexistant artistic integrity will gain them money, they won't stop.

 

Fun fact:

Between GTA V and GTA 6, the world has seen:

2 new generations of consoles

3 american presidents

more than 30 wars around the globe (including civil wars)

more than 500 satellites launched to space

more than 70 million cars produced

but yet, Rockstar can't bother to make a new Grand Theft Auto title... Riiight...

 

If GTA 6 doesn't turn out to be revolutionary in every aspects including gameplay, story, graphisms and depth of immersion, it will not be worth it. And i know it damn well won't be, because that's not their focus anymore.

It will be pretty, the map will be big and the story will be pretty cool for sure! But at this point, i think we can expect a bit more than some pretty textures and lighting effects on a big map with a "pretty cool" story...

 

If all accounts who played the PS3 and PS4 versions had a 50% off discount and the PS5 version had Liberty City included with the removal of all advanced handling flags and a friendly online mode for grinders, then i could see an appeal...

But when i look at this sh*t, you'd have to pay ME to play that expanded and enhanced bullsh*t.

 

By the way, I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE ADVANCED HANDLING FLAGS!!!

This long essay wasn't necessary you know. Please don't put words in my mouth. I never said I didn't care about the quality or anything like that. Just because I want something new, doesn't mean I don't care. I understand the situation with R* and it's consumers right now. Don't assume things you don't know about either man. The wars around the globe right now have nothing to do with the quality or new GTA. You're going off the rails man. I can't help that R* cant make everyone happy and satisfied. R* will never give us what we want in GTA and we both know that. Youre not the only who feels this way. I and others here feel the same way as well. You always see my posting about the cosmetic changes that need to be done on the emergency vehicles because they're outdated and you use to see complain about the handling flags. We know that R* has given up on giving a damn about the product they sell us. 36+cars are ruined and I don't own a single one that's affected by the handling flags because it's a waist of money. This is a minor they should fix but they haven't. I'm just as angry as you are. You don't know the reason why we had to wait for a new GTA, nobody knows. They're just speculating.  I'm not in the mood for this BS man. I understand you're frustration but you didn't need to go there. I don't understand the personal attack man.

I never said you didn't care about the quality either. My point is that this isn't new and that people should expect better from a game company as powerful and rich as Rockstar Games

Seeing how the online and the shark card sales are overflowing Rockstar and Take-Two, who owns them, with money, it is very very likely that either Rockstar doesn't want to move on

because they want to keep milking their golden goose, or Take-Two doesn't want Rockstar to move on and keeps them in a strangle hold to keep them milking V's online.

But let's not forget Red Dead ll that was clearly a very time consuming project along the way.

I think Rockstar will move on but it is very clear that GTA V's incredible sales and microtransaction profits have put everything in slow motion for them to make the maximum profit from it

(even at the cost of their own reputation...).

 

I don't think i'm far from the truth when i say it could be Rockstar that became lazy or Take-Two that wants to milk them... Or both...

I have no problem with a company that wants to make profit from a very well selling product they made by taking advantage of the momentum.

My problem is when they want to sell us the same game for a third time after ten years.

They want to take their time? No problem. They want to take my money? Sure. Show me a new and interesting product of quality and you'll have my money.

And that should do it: We might get it, We might not. Another old Vapid brand sedan in my collection would help, + I'm getting bored of collecting Albany Emperors (Both clean & rusty) anyway.

I personally still want to Rockstar to add more original creations that are so unique that its hard to tell what they were based on, the Polaris V8 from Vice City Stories is awesome

Not impossible but the side-siluette of the car is way more aggressive with the long front and short back and the rear lights and bumper are really different from the Satellite

I never said you didn't care about the quality either. My point is that this isn't new and that people should expect better from a game company as powerful and rich as Rockstar Games

and that we should not take the bait if it means sending a message to the people who want to sell us the same game for over 10 years.

It was a silly dark humor joke, poking fun at that "you know other people are suffering more than you all around the world" cliché argument but also at my own hypocrisy and stupidity for doing so.

And i do not believe it is by buying a lazy remaster of a remaster that things will get better but that is just my opinion and i respect yours as always.

And that is why i think we should give up on them and the product they want to sell us.

 

 

Seeing how the online and the shark card sales are overflowing Rockstar and Take-Two, who owns them, with money, it is very very likely that either Rockstar doesn't want to move on

because they want to keep milking their golden goose, or Take-Two doesn't want Rockstar to move on and keeps them in a strangle hold to keep them milking V's online.

But let's not forget Red Dead ll that was clearly a very time consuming project along the way.

I think Rockstar will move on but it is very clear that GTA V's incredible sales and microtransaction profits have put everything in slow motion for them to make the maximum profit from it

(even at the cost of their own reputation...).

 

I don't think i'm far from the truth when i say it could be Rockstar that became lazy or Take-Two that wants to milk them... Or both...

I have no problem with a company that wants to make profit from a very well selling product they made by taking advantage of the momentum.

My problem is when they want to sell us the same game for a third time after ten years.

They want to take their time? No problem. They want to take my money? Sure. Show me a new and interesting product of quality and you'll have my money.

It was never my intention to attack you in any way shape or form, my good man! I apparently struck a nerve by accident but hear me when i say it wasn't at all my goal.

We're going on and on about a ten year old game that a giant corporation doesn't want to give up because its multiplayer keeps their money hungry, integrity rotting greed satisfied.

I like to post here and there to discuss with you guys about one of the many things i love: Vehicles of all shapes and forms for all tastes and from all places and times.

Posting to insult people is never, was never and will never be the reason why i came and i still keep coming to this place!

I come here to have a good time, discuss respectfully (and sometimes rant) and learn about vehicles!

I don't know you, i don't know what is going on in your life and i won't pretend like i do. I respect you and that is all that matters.

Looks like the new GT86/FRS/BRZ based car is gonna be called the “Karin S95”.

 

Heres another pic of the car.

About f*cking time, it took em 2 GT86 & BRZ generations to finally add this! Hopefully we get more pics of the other 4 vehicles later on (Especially the Pontiac GTO).

I hate to be the bitching one, but have you ever heard of the Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire?

 

 

We already have a Dodge Challenger Demon in the game. If you don't like it, say it and try to put into words what you don't like about it for you to justify requesting a revamp of it.

I, for example, personally hate that front splitter and would love a Challenger SRT8 in the game to act like a good middle ground between the obsolete standard Gauntlet and the garish Hellfire.

 

If you say "I didn't know it was in the game", it proves that you didn't care enough for that car at all in the first place to know it was in the game,

to which i'd respond: Why would you go through the trouble of creating an account on a fan forum to post about a car that you don't even care about??".

 

I know i'm not the best example of inteligence and subtlety around here, but at least i post about cars i'd like to have that are NOT in the game! I don't want to come up as a pretentious prat lesson giver but...

All it would take is some dumbass livery on a Beater Sabre Turbo that you could mock up as a Torino and i'd be happy...

The curves and deep waves of Torino bodies can make it hard for those without a sharp eye to recreate the original stripe's shape to keep it faithful to the original as we can se on this appalling attempt.

But the result is quite good looking nonetheless. Such kind of stripe could look really nice on a Sabre Turbo after a few more tweakings here and there... Why not ending the point of the stripe with an eagle head for example?

But knowing Rockstar's quality control regarding cars, it will probably either look like crap, sound like pap, or drive like a retarded anvil...

 

My two favorite movie/TV cars ever, being the General Lee in second and the mighty stripy boah in first, tells a lot about the importance i give about car designs to give them more character.

I prefer the V8 Interceptor of the first Mad Max over the Gran Torino of Walt in "Gran Torino" because the Interceptor has a very strong scary presence that gives it a lot of character,

despite that i would choose in a heartbeat to get the Torino over the Falcon if i had to choose between the two. That shot of the camera zooming in the Scott Injector, speaks volume as to the effect that car has on Max...

Add to that the supercharger's whine that sounds much more "sucky" during that shot and you can tell that car is literally sucking max in... I love it!!

Not to mention the fade when he goes to take the car... He becomes the car! Clever directing, editing and sound design like that can mark a car in cinema history for ever...

 

But Clint Eastwood's mighty Cobra Jet isn't that far down the line... Been a long time i thought about making a giant top list of all my favorite cars and vehicles in movies and TV series.

I'd possibly do that, one day in the distant future... When i'll have the time and will to...

But i already know the Interceptor, the White Gazelle from vanishing point, Bullitt's Mustang and Bandit's Trigger from the first Smokey and the Bandit will be fighting themselves in my head to know

who gets third, fourth and fifth place... The Delorean Time Machine not far away down the line but let's stop here because it's a list one does not simply want to explore on a forum he's already poluting with senseless long posts...

 

In short, i love the General Lee for the character it/he has but i love the design and look of that mighty Zebra3 aka Striped Tomato...

 

Dayum... That stripe looks mighty tasty in black too...

But it should have a white pinstripe around it to give it more density as the original one being white, had a black pinstripe around it.

 

Man... George Barris was truly a genius...
