We badly need more minivans and especially modern ones in this game for the sheer variety of cars just to exist in this game. We've only got the old Minivan from IV and the Moonbeam which both are based on p*ss old cars. Give us more Minivans Rockstar!  I would enjoy and have lots of fun with these type of cars. 



Another forgotten segment is Station Wagons and we all know what we want here.

I have seen 2 different mods in total on this car but I'm not completely satisfied with how either look so I'm hopeful of Rockstar's "new design team" doing a proper modeling of this car. For instance, before the Jubilee was released there were various mods on the Cullinan but again I wasn't happy with how any of them looked and felt the car that Rockstar's design team put out was significantly better. Hopefully same case for the C8 RS6.

This is a pre-facelift of the current gen 7-series without the fugly humongous grill.  

Why are these not in the game? The Ubermacht brand is kind of ignored. I'm fairly sure they won't add the M5 or the M760, it's probably too late for that. Next time they add a modern BMW, it will probably be the M8 coupe which would be ok, although I would so much prefer them to add the Gran Coupé. Just looks better than the 2-door IMO.

Do you know what today is? It's Saint Valentine's Day! And that means... Something, I guess. Nothing to do with cars, really. Certainly nothing to do with me! But I do love cars, I guess, and of all cars, I have a particular place in my heart for classic utilitarian off-roaders and other such proto-SUVs. So, five cars! A Toyota, a Volkswagen, a Land Rover, a Jeep, and an Isuzu. Let's get to it.

 

Toyota J40

Starting in the far east and somewhat removed from the military history of early utility buggies, the J40 was an instant favorite in the far-flung corners of the world where four-wheel-drive was necessary and an unknown manufacturer like Toyota sold cheap. Total hipster bait now.

Can you believe this game SHIPPED IN 2013 with an FJ Cruiser and we still don't have the original? What's up with that, Rockstar?

 

Volkswagen Type 181

Despite its Beetle bones giving it an oddly adorable appearance, the "Thing" was all military to start out. Europe needed a good all-rounder and, not wanting to send all their money to Solihull, Toledo, or Toyota, this quirky little corrugated box was born. Not quite as iconic as its stablemates but I love it all the same.

Land Rover Series II Station Wagon

Like the J40, the Land Rover really owes its existence to the Willys MB. Aside from winning the war so that they might be born, the MB was a fantastic formula to copy. Rover took it a step further and used their single platform for a dozen configurations, but the one I'm most fond for is the five-door wagon. Oh yes.

I know I'm named after the Jeep that started it all, but I do love me its British cousin. It pains me to see where these marques have gone since the 60s. Defender... Yeah, I'd be defensive, too, if I looked like a melting ice cube!

 

Jeep CJ-8

Had to have a Jeep on here, you know. Replacing the ever-poorly-selling CJ-6, the CJ-8 came right at the time when Jeep finally ceased any of its utilitarian, farm truck pursuits and became a fun, recreational brand. That of course means the CJ-8 was offered with a load of goofy trim packages, which is OK.

I'd still prefer a proper 60s Gladiator any day over the silly Scrambler. I wouldn't say no to either!

Back around to the far east again for this last entry and... Well, I had to have something unusual for my once-every-few-months post. The VehiCROSS is... An Aztek on steroids. I like the Aztek, I don't like the VehiCROSS. But it's so ugly and silly and stupid that I do kind of love that it exists. Behold!

Oh wow, I remember reading Ferrari was building a performance SUV a couple of years back (when most manufactures were moving to SUVs as well). 

 

I totally missed the unveiling of the Ferrari Purosangue (2022). Hopefully the in game version can compete with the Toros if added!

A MkII Deluxo that's faster and doesn't have the silly wings.

 

A purchasable magnet winch for the Cargobob as per Fleeca Job, and a better lift chopper that can actually lift stuff regardless of whether R* feels that it should be able to at that specific time.

 

A Ruiner 2000 with boost that can enter MOC, which just makes sense, if you're going to rip-off '80s TV series, at least do it properly.

No I'd rather it be its own model with a unique name than another upgrade with "custom" slapped onto the end. Although a Firebird that turns into a GTO/Le Mans via whatever shop that does the conversion would fall in line rockstar's logic, I just don't see it happening.
