Well... As i'm sure you know, the most iconic car of Bond is the DB5 (JB 700) and as you also know the JB 700 had many gadgets to offer and play with in two missions of story mode...

and everybody tried to figure out how to have the gadgets activated after the missions... Which as we now know, is impossible to get without the help of mods.

 

 

Which brings us to The Casino Heist update... The trailer of No Time to Die (featuring an updated DB5 with miniguns) had been out for a little while now and the star of it was clearly the DB5.

After six years and countless demands (including from me) to add a better, fully functional and beefed up JB 700 to the game, the hype for such car to be in the next update was getting REAL.

The update being centered around a Casino left very little doubt as if this was the perfect setting to see the JB 700 make a triumphant return...

 

 

AND INDEED THERE WAS A NEW JB 700 IN THE FILES OF THE UPDATE...

 

 

And we got a base JB 700 with no weapon animation whatsoever, totally useless oil or spikes mines and the massively powerful shotguns were replaced by very ineffective machine guns...

Basically everything that made the JB 700 the legend it was, had either been botched or simply removed... including the ejector seat...

And icing on the cake : The price went from 350 000 $ to a whipping 1 470 000 $ for no reason at all.

 

And then the memes started...

 

 

 

(Fun/sad thing is that in the same update, a Corsa was added and you could tell that real time and effort was put into it.)

 

 

 

 

The car was made fun of by the entire community and after a week had fallen into absolute oblivion.

In the category of vehicles people don't even remember it existing...

 

There is also a toy model of a JB 700 prop for the casino penthouse in the files of the game that is not accessible by any means for some reason...

 

 

All this is very strange.

 

And very unfair to the legend that is the DB5...

 

I can understand why they wouldn't want to bother putting a Torino in the game...

 

But this ??

should have a fully-modelled and customisable modular interior compartments like the MOC that you can walk around in, with room for all 8 club members/CEO associates. Should have a television, alcohol, snacks, closet, JATO thrusters, a gun locker, gun customisation table, a Terrorbyte-style business supplies sourcing screen, and the ability to check on all stock/supply levels remotely. Should also have an autopilot feature that will make it automatically follow a gentle loop around the map at a level altitude so you can relax in the back without having to fly it, and have it continue to do so until you despawn it. This way you can quickly fly to and bail out near where the supplies spawned and not have to worry about the jet crashing and needing to pay for the replacement. Should also be able to spawn into the game in it at high altitude similar to how you can spawn into the Kosatka.

It should be unarmed as well so you can go passive whilst flying/riding in it without worrying about getting shot down by a griefer.

Now I understand and you're actually right in hating this thing...    It's sad seing all the potential, all the ideas that regular guys like us can come up with and a big rich company, that gets they fortune everyday with a outdated 7 yr old game and it's big loyal fanbase, just doesn't care about it's main product to put quality content in it...

That was always my issue. I’m gonna seem a bit selfish, entitled, and ungrateful but thats not my intent. We spend hours coming up ideas, sketches, detailing how the customization should be, what cars should be added and the list goes on. These DLCs would be bangers if they actually added stuff people want. Im gonna leave my personal favorites out of this like the Aventador, 488, and F150 XL so I don’t seem biased. But why can’t people have the Charger Hellcat, Honda NSX, and RX7 and many other cars from older GTAs and popular cars that people ACTUALLY WANT? Whats the point of adding another Manchez with some mirrors and slight customization versus a bike like an old Harley or sports bike. They got better with designs but their vehicle choices are poor. I’ll admit a few cars in this DLC is nice but some stuff in the past few updates are pointless. They just make poor vehicles selections.

They're aware of these forums, they know we exist and that we discuss/come up with a lot of good ideas. They just pretend to not see what we're asking and give us a big middle finger. I couldn't agree more with you guys. I bet no one asked for the Counts Kustoms'/Gotham Garage COE tow trucks.

I've been very happy with the recent addition of the Winky. However the car is seriously lacking in customization options. It's a Jeep goddamnit, customization is what makes it standout from any other millitary platforms.

 

With the introduction of another unusual vehicule in the Saviem SM8 (Vétir), I remembered of this Jeep knock-off that tried to dethrone her in post-war France. The last ditch attempt from the luxury brand Delahaye to survive from bankruptcy.

 

The Delahaye VLR (1951-1954) : Who would have expected the Jeep to replace the Jeep ?

 

The VLR was prone to mechanical failures and was maintenance-heavy. No wonder why the French army decided to go for the safest bet which was the license-built MB in the Hotchkiss-Jeep M201. While I'm not particurlarly asking for a new vehicule, I would love more customization options for the Winky so I can copy some features from the VLR which I find equally attractive. A canvas top or special headlights would be nice, a machine gun turret even better ! In the end, this post is just another rambling speech of mine.

In a future update, I'd like to see "Custom" versions of these vehicles at Benny's Original Motor Works:

• Gallivanter Baller (first generation) 
• Dinka Blista (regular version, not the Compact nor Kanjo models)
• Albany Emperor
• Canis Mesa
• Imponte Phoenix

I also want the Benefactor Dubsta2 to be renamed the "Dubsta Custom" and be converted from the regular Dubsta at Benny's, along with the Western Daemon motorbike into the "Daemon Custom".

These three current OWR cars represent different Formula 1 eras. The R88 is mid-70's to early 80's, the PR4 encompasses the early 90's, and the BR8 clearly represents the late 2000's to the very early 2010s. All different eras.

 

So why don't we add some more F1 cars to fill in those gaps?
