The Tovarisch is the result of Rune.. redistributing the means of production from the Germans during the War, and then modifying the design to handle the absolute worst the Soviets could throw at it. Now, Rune has just got the message that the USSR is no more, and so has decided to export it to the US. And the Tovarisch now has the capitalist price to reflect the new market. Enjoy~

My grandfather, may he rest in peace, had one, back when I was a small small child. I remember how we would drive on it to our dacha (Russian ranch analogue) on rainy days, me and grandma in the sidecar, covered with foldable tarpaulin roof and the smell of gasoline would stay for the duration of the entire trip. Good memories.

This flag never hurted anyone ... The idiot who waves it while spreading racism and human stupidity is the one to blame.

Anything can become a symbol of hate ... But nothing should be. Giving importance to the pretended "hate" of a symbol is giving importance to the idiots.

And when a person comes to spread hate towards "racism" and "bad people" that same person is becoming exactly what he/she swore not to be.

 

I don't like racism. And i don't like discrimination in any way ... But i believe we are all racist ... To a certain extenct ...

We all judge people on the way they talk, dress and think, but as far as that person doesn't hurt me in any way. I'm good.

The general Robert Edward Lee (the man who's name was given for the car in tribute)

 

While being a great military strategist, was openly oposed to slavery.

And i also heard that when slavery was finally abolished, he declared that it was one of the best things that ever happened to this country ...

Hate never solved any problems. My grandfather was racist in many ways, and it doesn't mean i can't see him as the greatest man i ever knew.

 

To go back on topic ... My grandfather was a petrolhead and a master mechanic and bodybuilder (yes i mean for cars) and he had some pretty cool ride in his life ...

What I'm saying is that if Rockstar added a vastly different car with the same name, people would get confused between which is which.

 

"Hey, I just bought a Brawler."

 

And there are many cars that have been simply ruined just because the name didn't make sense.

 

For once, maybe the Jester Classic is actually a good car. But it doesn't matter.

Why was it branded a Dinka? Why was it called the "Jester Classic?"

 

 

If the way Rockstar brands cars is confusing... (Ubermacht Revolter...)

 

and the way Rockstar categorizes cars is confusing... (Streiter...)

 

why should we make it even more confusing for everyone else?

I personally don't think a car can be ruined just because of it's name. A car is ruined by the lack of quality and effort put into it.

 

The JB 700W has been totally ruined ... But the W makes sense.

I agree on the fact that names would have to be fixed. Naming a car shouldn't be done in 10 seconds by scratching your head thinking :

"Okay ... Just the name to go and i'm sending the bitch to the texture team."

 

But at the same time in a game full of lazer guns and flying bikes ... Why should i take the vehicles seriously ?

 

The way i see it is simple ... The spirit of gta online died a long time ago. But it's fun to enjoy all that chaos by dancing in the middle of the flames.

For the Valentine's Day of 2014 one of the finnest additions to Grand Theft Auto V was ever added.

The Albany Roosevelt.

 

The Cadillac 341A Town Sedan (1928) of Al Capone.

It is clear for me that no car can compete with the Roosevelt in terms of

Power, Class and presence. This car can fill a garage all by itself.

 

In 2016 The Roosevelt Valor was added. A fine addition but lacking originality.

No car has ever lived up to the great name of the Roosevelt in my opinion.

 

In Grand Theft Auto you play a killer, smuggler, dealer.

So why don't we have more cars of those who will be remembered as the first gangsters of the 20th century ?

Some of these peoples would be called monsters, others would be considered gentlemen robbers.

 

I would like real gangster cars added to the game.

Not only American ones but also French ones ...

Because we had some nice lunatics and epic gangsters too ...

 

Anyway it is time to let love blood flow and celebrate ...

Bonnie and Clyde are usually depicted romantically ...

But robbing eveything and killing anyone standing in their path,

speeding through states in a stolen Ford, killing officers and citizens ... They had it coming ...

A violent death for two violent lovers ...

 

I think this car fits perfectly in the game.

Pierre Loutrel was ... uhhh ... Special ...

Founder and leader of the "gang des Tractions Avant" (Yes just like somebody would call themselves the "Mustang gang").

The "Traction gang" was extremely productive. The Citroen Traction was a perfect choice ... for escaping the police !

 

"Canis FWD"

 

With such an history and an epic car you'd think the guy's death would be epic ...

Dumbass shot himself in the belly (almost shot his sausage) ... He was 30.

 

This car was fast, it is still beautiful and it's violent history makes it clearly worthy to be added.

John Dillinger was audacious, charming, polite and most of all ... a master robber ...

He robbed banks, police stations and escaped prison two times ...

He apparently killed only one person. A policeman who shot him first.

But Dillinger was wearing a bulletproof vest and didn't wait for him to shoot again ...

 

"Vapid Deal Injure"

 

He was shot to death, exiting the Biograph Theater,

after having seen the "Manhattan Melodrama" with Clark Gable.

Soon after exiting, he knew something wasn't right. He pulled a gun out and tried to run off.

He took three bullets to the back and one in the neck, exiting by his cheek. He was 31.

 

I think a traditional two door car would be very nice to have.

We all know Al Capone ... And we all know the Roosevelt ...

Who said he only had one Cadillac ?

After years in prison, a stab in the back and many diseases.

He got sent back to his family after the diseases got the best of him.

He shortly died after that, aged 48.

 

This Cadillac was bulletproof just like his green 341A Town Sedan, but bigger and black ...

If you watch carefully, you will see, the rear passenger windows have little holes ...

How convinient for drive by isn't it ? ...

Just like the Albany Roosevelt Capo, i think this car could have two variants. one with black tires and one with white walls.

Albany Commodore.

Albany Commodore Valor.

When you say gangster, when you say godfather.

Only three brands pop in my head ... Cadillac, Rolls Royce and Bentley. And they are always painted black ...

This car is to me the absolute incarnation of mobsters and organised crime in the 20's and 30's.

And this is why i believe this car ...

BMW 528i (1979)

 

Capone was the public enemy number one ...

We had our own ...

My favorite with Dillinger ... Jacques Mesrine was one hell of a character ... Rebelious, proud and incredibly honest.

He taunted the police through years and managed to escape every time he was caught.

While being a gangster, he had a code of honor. If you were honest with him ...

He would be honest with you ...

But if you were dishonest ...

He would bring all hell to you ...

 

"Übermacht Mächtig"

 

After many years of freedom, and taunting the police.

They were so pissed, Mesrine was filled with bullets after an embush at a crossroads.

A truck sudenly pulled in front of him and the cover went off, revealing an entire squad of policemen

who machine gunned him down. He was 42.

 

The BMW 528i is forever connected to Jacques Mesrine.

And Jacques Mesrine is seen by almost everyone as the greatest

and most epic gangster in France.

I love this BMW for two reasons.

1 I think it's one of the most beautiful BMW ever built.

2 Jacques Mesrine.

So i think it deserves its place in the game.
