For some reason R* thinks that everyone wants the same thing. WE DON’T.  If anything they should give us stock Yosemites, Hermes, ZR380s, Streiters and it was another car y’all mentioned before the Streiter I can’t remember right now. But anyways they should give us STOCK versions of those and let us transform them into slammed or lifted versions. Thats why people want them to bring back Bennys. People want all these features to return but they don’t capitalize on it. If they give us stock versions of cars and let people transform them into lowriders or lifted cars and let people keep clean and stock versions so that way almost everyone is happy. Sorry for the rant.

Benny may be able to customize GTR into R32, but removing Widebody on Comet Retro is too much.

They did remove the widebody.........but took the non-widebody and decided to put an offroad lift kit on it

I know its the truth.  I just don’t want to be the one who complains but thats not my intent. Plus I love Rockstar and GTA. I just feel like if we spend hours playing YOUR game, at least give us what WE WANT. We stay up until 5AM on DLC days excited to see if we got Bennys or our favorite cars we requested but instead we see lifted Porsches and Mercedes E Class 4x4s and futuristic concept supercars thats mixed with like 5 other cars thats slow because of handling flags.

For me (a car and cinema lover) i see three reasons to love yourself a Gran Torino ...

 

1 Starsky & Hutch

An old school cheesy buddy cop tv series about two detectives, trying their best to put a little more order

in the streets and dark corners of Bay City (a fictional version of Los Angeles)

It certainly hasn't aged too well and after the first two seasons, due to the "violence" concern they simply reduced it to just dumb.

But the first episode is really setting the mood well. I recommend it to anybody curious to find some relics of the 70's cinematography.

But something didn't aged a bit ... The Tomato !

 

 

2 Gran Torino

Do i need to say more ? (Well let's say yes)

Kowalski, an old grumpy veteran from the korean war and former assembly line worker for Ford,

dives into a very dangerous situation when he comfronts a local gang. Simply because they stepped on his property ...

He's gonna learn everybody can have a second chance, starting with Thao the young man who tried to steal ...

His 72 Gran Torino ... What can i say ? I just love that movie.

There certainly is a stunning neglect of Compacts in GTA Online. It's nice that they've added to it recently, but comparing it to something like Sports or Super, it's very much a shame. I certainly wouldn't mind the class being bolstered with a few more tiny Japanese things, whether kei or not. When was the last time we got a proper superbike? 

 

These three bikes have near, if not; identical performance. So I would have the bikes all have identical performance in GTAO. Top of the class in the motorcyle section, but the three different bikes open up a path for multiple choice. That way one doesn't instantly make the others obsolete.

We have lotsa Delicas in our region. Most of them are 4x4 ones, however. Like this one. 

 

My father's co-worker had a brown one. He used to give me a lift on the way to the factory. Very cozy thing to ride in I'd say. This is what has lighted up the flames of burning love for vans inside me.

Well, today is a sad day. 

Syd Mead has passed away at the age of 86. He worked on aesthetics for original "Blade Runner", "Alien", "Tron", "Mobile Suit Gundam" ... He also had a share of work with "Mass Effect" series.

Not with the cars I mean, but with this naming system

I mean If the trend keeps on and cars keep recieving their older counterparts about half of the cars in the game will be named like "%Whatever% Retro"

Let's start coming up with more original names

I believe GTA 5's name system is already screwed, so i don't really care about it.

But i totally agree they should have Mk1 Mk2 etc. Just like real life in GTA 6.

 

What could be awesome would be to have different trims depending on the year of the cars.

Example : A 1970 Sabre Turbo would not look exactly like a 1971 one.
This would be next level attention to details.

 

It could be like this

 

Declasse Sabre Turbo Mk1 (1968)

Declasse Sabre Turbo Mk1 (1969)

Declasse Sabre Turbo Mk2 (1970)

Declasse Sabre Turbo Mk2 (1972)

 

Dominator Mk2 (1967)

Dominator Mk3 (1973)

Dominator Mk5 (2007)

 

etc etc. I think this would be the right solution.

Now see this is an idea that I love. I like this versus having the front end of this car, the back of that car, and “taking influence” from 2 other models.
