I think they did they best they had to work with. They needed it to look like a c7 so they didn't jade current corvette fans. Specs are unreal for a 60k car. I see a bunch of people saying it looks like this or that, but theyre simply wrong. Subjectively, it looks nothing like a 488 or an Nsx.

I would love to see this car in many games. For GTA, it needs an actual v8 engine model and the spectre interior. Needs a lower version of the blackfin exhaust note and can cost anywhere from 400k to 900k.

Yeah and a lot of the renderings were pretty accurate. They did very quick work with the latest NSX, so I'm hoping we get something next year.

If the new Progen can take out the D8s, id be okay with that. Because, unlike the Devel 16, the Senna is a real car.

Also, the new C8 corvette has just been unveiled and is causing shockwaves in the car community. Maybe we'll see a new Coquette in an upcoming update....

The god damn D8 ruined Stunt racing for me.  I hate driving the thing and you can’t win without it.  It’s like an unfun version of the Grotti X80.

I'm not convinced yet, the jury's still out for me, might be a grower..

I think my least favourite part is the front/headlight styling.

I was thinking the same thing.

Jesus.. Some of the vehicles that people ask for in this thread are just damn right goofy and terrible. I hope they never see the light of day in GTAO

Somebody said the magic words! It's time for round two of three for my posts on this page, and that's right - it's goofy and terrible vehicles! Five of the silliest and strangest cars I've ever shared (or wanted to share) here, all for you folks' viewing pleasure (or displeasure, current company considered). Remember to send whatever you like to Rockstar! Or complain in this thread, because that's productive, right? It's an SARB, a Plymouth, a Pontiac, a Hobbycar, and a Rolls-Royce. Let's get to it.

SARB Start

Also known as the САРБ Старт in its native tongue, the Start here is a strange example of American automotive design seeping through the Iron Curtain, mutating in weird and interesting ways as it did so. It's a van with a trunk! And fins!

Plymouth Slingshot

Back in the late 1980s, the future had gone from a hopeful nuclear-powered dream to a dark dusty apocalypse to a cannibalistic dystopia and back again. The Slingshot is a child of the time, and... I'll let you make your own conclusions.

Pontiac Monkeemobile

Somewhere between the Yellow Submarine and the Blues Mobile, the Monkeemobile blends fact and fiction much the same way the Monkees themselves did. It's not my customary fare, but I can't keep from smiling when I see this thing.

Hobbycar B612

The ocean calls to many, but some want convenience to come first. Why have a minivan and a boat when you can have both in one? Enter the French B612, and put on a life jacket because they are known to sink.

Rolls-Royce FAB 1

They tried to replace the FAB 1 with a mutant Thunderbird a decade or two ago, but nothing will ever quite fill the slot this six-wheeled sci-fi luxury saloon occupies in my heart. It's a Rolls-Royce! It's weaponized! It's pink!

I dont like it very much. Not a fan of the styling direction nor moving the engine behind the passenger compartment. Yeah I'm more of the Corvette purists type of guy and to me it's sacrilege to change the car front engine rear wheel drive to a mid engine rear wheel drive set up.

Any chance of some of these concept cars coming out?

At first I hated the thought, but with all the work on the mid engined concepts, and zora arkus duntov wishing for a mid engined sports car, I'm a bit more open to the idea.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate the story behind it plus all the mid engined Corvette prototypes and concepts that have come put over the last few decades but it seems to me like GM is messing with a tried and true formula that may or may not work out. It seems to be a love it or hate it decision as there are many people on both sides of that argument.

The c7 formula was a very good formula, but wouldve been outclassed very quickly in the future. There's no room in the c7 for things like hybrid systems, or 4wd layouts. Right now, the AMG Gt is the limit of what a rwd can do, and GM wouldve needed to emulate that, which means they would've driven the cost of Corvette considerably. They might as well go ahead and switch engine layouts and be protected in the future.

I love corvette, I really do, but the C7 was the limit of what GM would allow engineers to do. Obviously, it COULD have been better, but bringing up ideas like DOHC engines, plush interior materials, twin turbo or electric systems to GM beancounters wouldve been shut down.

I understand what you're saying about it and I'll concede that in today's world this is probably the correct long term strategy for keeping one of the few American sports cars relevant. Part of the issue though is that the Corvette in its prior generation going into this one didn't have a direct competitor in terms of cars with a similar layout. Come to think of it the Corvette really didn't have any direct domestic competition save for the '55-'57 Thunderbird and 1992-2017 Viper. Now I guess GM has it's eye on the current Ford GT and European sports cars. There's no question that the C8 gives a pretty good bang for 60k especially considering the amount of technology packed into it that is normally found on cars well in the six figure range. It'll be an interesting experiment that surely alienated some of the traditional Corvette buyers but may draw others who were looking at something European to fill their sports car needs.

I see this happening already. Lots of people like it and they never considered a corvette, while lots of other people simply disregard it and say it isn't a corvette. You can lay out the entire saga of the mid engined corvette, but they don't care. I watched the C7 reveal, they said this was happening, the writing was on the wall.

Let's look at the big picture here: A Porsche Cayman with no options and a 300 hp 4 cylinder starts at 58k.

An Alfa Romeo 4c, with a 4 cylinder, sparse interior and bolted down frunk costs 66k.

This, with the same layout, a dual clutch transmission and v8 costs around that. I'm not directing this to anyone here, but you have to be nuts to dismiss this thing.

Oh it's certainly a car to behold considering it's price point. No question about that.

Willy A. Jeep

Three posts for this page, though I really only imagined it'd be two at first. It's a special occasion! As well as the moon landing anniversary, today is the birthday of yours truly. I'm some years along, and I've only got so many left, though neither amount is to be known here. But I've gotta make the most of them, so here's... twenty-two vehicles, all favorites of mine, though don't think this list is exhaustive of everything I hold dear. It's just the stuff I most want Rockstar to add to Online, or maybe even the next GTA. And, hey, if any of you like them, that's all the better. So! A Checker, a Land Rover, a Brough-Superior, a Willys or three, a Citroën, a Volkswagen, an Oldsmobile, a Dodge, a DeSoto, a Buick or two, a pair of International Harvesters, an Austin, a couple of Hondas, a Crosley, a Tatra, a Cadillac, and a Douglas. Let's get to it, and happy birthday to me.

Checker Marathon

Though it's not the longest-loved member of this list, I've had a strong affection for the iconic Checker since I was a child. It's attractive, but it's utilitarian, it's a sedan, but it's an icon. I'd hope for some serious customization for the return of our dear Cabbie, but until then, I'm saving a spot for it in my garage.

Land Rover Series II Station Wagon

One of the very first cars I ever really liked. When I was little, I found a diecast toy of this British wagon buried in a yard, and I've kept it close ever since. Its quirky, function-over-form appearance is something I've always admired, and I don't need to tell you about the globetrotting legacy of the Land Rover.

Brough-Superior SS100

Though I'd covet an SS80 just as well. I didn't know about these vintage motorcycles until only about a decade ago, when I saw an anime (that has since had a remake) which featured one of these as the main character's vehicle. Add in that this was the fastest bike in the world in the years before World War II, you can count me a fan.

Willys MB

And its twin Ford GPW, though I'll never let that tarnish my name. I feel like it should be apparent that I'm a long-time, dedicated adorer of the original Jeep. Even though after all this time I've never driven or even rode in one of these examples of American grit and glory, I'll keep on looking for a chance.

Citroën DS Series 3

I've never been to France, I'm ashamed to say, so I have had little opportunity to know this innovative, space age sedan personally. But from afar, I've always looked on with fascination and desire. The streamlined form, the above-my-head mechanics, and the sheer uniquity of the DS has me enraptured.

Volkswagen Beetle

As much as I harbor desire to have one of these in Online, I also feel I'm speaking an obvious popular opinion by bringing up Volkswagen's ubiquitous Type 1. This car is so incredibly well-known and famous that it's hard to think we haven't seen an analogue to it in all these years. I'm partial to the circa 1960 models, but I'm not picky.

1967 Oldsmobile 442

The only one here that I'd call a pure muscle car, and an object of my secret admiration. I know very little about the 442, but I am always happy to see one of these early ones, even alongside the more strange cars I usually prefer. It can't just be a Cutlass, it's got to be a 442, though I'd allow a Hurst detail or two.

1969 Jeep Wagoneer

The classic Jeep that we likely have to pay thanks to for the continued existence of the brand past AMC. Though the Wagoneer lived much of its life under American Motors and Chrysler, to me, it was the last of the original Jeep family to fade out. Like the Checker and Land Rover, the Wagoneer is a car that won.

1965 Jeep Gladiator

Deja vu! It's no secret that the Wagoneer and Gladiator shared much, and even long after the Gladiator name disappeared, it was obvious that there was no need for change. For most of my childhood, I lived near an old guy who had one of these, and I always thought it was coolest truck that I'd never get to ride in.

1989 Dodge Ram

Before Dodge went full compensation mode, the Ram of the late 1980s was a more reserved pick-up, more concerned with function than good looks. Not to say you couldn't get it how you wanted it, and my grandfather liked his with velour and whitewalls. I'm still connected to that old truck, after all these years.

1960 DeSoto Adventurer

Among all of the loud-and-proud cars of the big fins era, the Adventurer stands out. One of the last of Virgil Exner's forward-looking birds before their wings were clipped, I'm of the opinion this car is the pinnacle of Chrysler design, and would stand out as so unique in GTA Online. Even as a sedan!

1947 Buick Super

LA Noire is my favorite Rockstar game, hands down. It's got its quirks and flaws, but the atmosphere, the characters, and the cars all won me over the first time I played it. In the second chapter of the story, the player is given one of these massive Buicks to use as their personal car, and there was nothing else like it for me.

International Harvester B-Series

International Harvester is more remembered for their tractors, combine harvesters, and other farm equipment. But like any company with an eye for expansion, they also produced their own road going vehicles, usually taking some cues from contemporary models from large manufacturers. The B-series stands out to me, though. It's like it crawled out of Fallout.

Last-generation Buick Electra

Perhaps the most mundane vehicle of this post. I knew one of these very personally for most of my childhood - it brought me home from the hospital for the first time, after all - so even though I'm not so much a fan of this era of downsized American luxury, this one holds a special place in my heart. Austin FX4

Though I've never been to France, I have been to England, and stayed in London for a time some years ago. I took the Underground most places, but the bus and these dear old Austin taxis also saw me through. It's an experience becoming rarer and rarer, I understand, so I'm happy I knew it.

First-generation Honda CR-V

I guess Honda feel like they struck gold with the "CR-" nomenclature. X, V, and Z! I've known three individual examples of this car and, while not the first I drove, I did most of my early driving in one. I understand for most people it's a boring, blobby Japanese crossover from the 90s, but for me, it's good memories.

Crosley CD

Going a bit obscure for this one! Crosley was, long ago, a major American industrial power. They were very early in mass producing affordable appliances, especially known for their radios, but in the boom following World War II, the Crosley name also made its way on to a range of itty-bitty cars. Crosley also happens to be from Cincinnati, where I was born, so there you go.

Tatra 603

It's thanks to the Lane Motor Museum that I learned of this obscure, bizarre-looking Czechoslovakian luxury sedan, and it's a very big thanks. It checks almost all of my boxes, plus I've got some history on these very forums with this machine. If Rockstar will add an Indian hillclimber, they can add this.

1940 Cadillac Series 75 Convertible

There's too many Cadillacs I like, so I'll posit this one for its unfilled niche. There's no car in all of GTA Online like this - nothing of this period, nothing of this luxury, and nothing topless from before 1950. They've had opportunities, they've come close, but short of a PC mod, GTA is sorely missing out.

1985 Honda Accord

The Hakumai! Oh, the Hakumai. Many a late night spent on the streets of Liberty City with that little Japanese box. I'm not alone in missing it, I think, so consider this a request for its return, even if it wasn't purely Accord. Take me back to 2008 and Russian gangsters! The Futo just isn't doing it for me, anymore.

International Harvester 14-series Combine Harvester

What at first seems a utilitarian behemoth of mechanized agrarian industry turns to a thundering bringer of destruction and gore at the behest of whoever sits behind its wheel. Wheat, soy, bone, and sinew aren't all that different when you're sitting in an air conditioned cabin with two tons of agricultural equipment behind you.

Douglas DC-3

Congratulations! You made it to the last entry! And of course I have to return to the DC-3. While these planes were far from the first airliners, they established their dominance in the post-war world and take up one of the common images of what an airplane is. A few C-47 liveries wouldn't go amiss, but I need this classic plane in my hangar.

@Willy A. Jeep So much yes to that Series 2 Station Wagon, a proper defender lookalike is long overdue in GTA Online imo. Give it the option to make it look like a 90 or 110, maybe even an 130, some offroad parts and I´d be so happy.

I think there is no point to adding an entire new brand, If it only presents one car. Unfortunately GTA V has some brands that were created solely for one car. I want to talk about what has been the most recent solo-car Brand until Casino update hit the road, with this brand being the Rune. Now considering Rune is a brand, based on Soviet/Russian cars it is not meant to be very expansive and vehicles have to be chosen carefully, considering you don't really meet many Soviet cars on American streets.

Here I want to make some propositions to expand the Rune car list for those who are also interested in more cars of the region.
Poekhali!

                                                                                                                  Lada 4x4/Lada Niva

Niva is a compact offroad vehicle which saw the light in 1977 and is still being produced to this day. It was a first mass-produced offroad vehcile to combine a unibody with a coil sprung independent front suspension, inspiring a number of other cars, namely Suzuki Vitara. Aside from Russia and CIS countries Niva found a way onto some European markets and got a bit of popularity among Japanese drivers.

A originally a semi-luxury salon built by large number of plants for a large number of purposes, saw it's use as a regular car for socialist market, police car, taxi and a special black KGB version with custom engine. In the following years was produced in a number of different variants: wagons, pickups, ambulances and convertibles produced for military parades. Saw the western market as Scaldia-Volga M24 and M24D.

Was intended to become a middle-class sedan replacement for Volga 24, but due to a number of economical and political reasons was prodused as a low-number production vehicle with around 3000 cars a year. Since 1981, the year it originated from, mostly saw it's use as a staff car for Soviets who needed a limousine, but weren't too important to be granted something like GAZ "Chaika" 14. The car was supposed to die by the end of 1980s, but the collapse of Soviet economy and no success at creating a successor made the car production survive up to 2008.

A luxury Soviet limousine created for VIPs of the party in 1959 and produced up to 1989. If you manage to ram Packard into Lincoln and Mercury at the same time small chances are you will create this as a result. About 3100 models of such cars were ever produced and stand among the most expensive vintage limousines as of this day.

The AK of the Soviet car production. As simple to produce and fix as it's uncomfortable to drive. An offroader, originally created for the military purposes, which also saw a lot of use as your ordinary people's car. Has visited a notorious number a world conflicts in use by both USSR and a good number of other states supported by communists, or whoever could lay their hands on it. To this day it is still produced in it's modern "Hunter" variant for civillian market and is used by various militaries around the world in all of it's incarnations.

A Soviet van, created back in 1965 and produced up to this very day with little to no exterior changes and same double edged sword reliability. Been used in every sphere of your Russian life from military to carrying logs in the north being placed on a tracked platform to fishing with your pals, saw extensive number of modifications throughout it's life. Outside of ex-USSR borders has found sympathy in Japan, where it ended up being loved by some of the locals out of nostalgia, reminding them of good old days when Japanese brands belonged to Japan and of old Toyota Hiace.

If you have nothing to compensate for and you prefer Fiat 500 and Renault 5 to big SUVs, then this midget with mid engine placement is for you. It also has an unlockable hole under the passenger's legs for all your winter fishing-on-ice needs.

If you think owning a Cheburek makes you an elite gopnik, then you obviously know nothing about gopnik hierarchy. Sure some low level patsnchiki might enjoy Lada 2106 or 2105, but If you truly want to show what a gopnik you are - 2108 is your way to go, just don't forget to shade all the windows and stance it so low it shoots sparks each time it moves. A honorary mention of a generic Soviet middle-class car you were most likely to see. Produced in 1967 and up until the 1980s. It's a true piece of classic, some of which even made it to the US with not the cheapest price. But beware, with this car of the working class you should treasure every second you spend with it. Because Moskvitch cars tend to rot faster than anything you've ever seen. But If you manage to keep it in shine - great job! Was also produced in Kombi and Pickup variants and even had a shining moment as a rally car.

There are 2 spheres where Soviet cars were actually reliable and good. Those are military and trucks. Whant can be even better than that? Correct! Military trucks! Ural 4320 drove off the conveyor 1977 and turned out to be so good no one ever really though of stopping to produce it. Ural remains one of the most, If not the most, recognizable trucks from behind the iron curtain. High reliability coupled with the ability to drive through extreme mud, snow and river bottoms without sinking in neither of that gained it a high status both in Russian military and in other armies who have to face harsh conditions on a daily basis. It is also a choice of ex-USSR truckers and loggers who have to deal with the places where putting roads is too expensive but the are no tanks at local disposal to pass the endless muds and rivers with. Saw action in many conflicts and keeps seeing it even today. If you favor brutal Ork design over something stylish in your military car, then this is the best choice to recommend.

Considering the appearance of multiple other Soviet military vehicles of different time periods in Online lately, this one does not seem like a bad choice.

oops! I got locked out of my old account because I deleted the email associated with it, but i couldn't resist the urge to post so i made a new one

2013-Scion-FRS-orange-hot-lava-parked.jp

The Toyota 86/Toyota GT86/Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ

I know this one's kind of cliche but I really do like the boxer sound and as much as I like the Sultan RS, It'd be nice to have an alternative that's a bit more...sleek? Has a nicer selection of tuning options? I don't know if it's the supercar category or the rarity of them in GTA IV, but the Sultan RS doesn't really read as a normal car as much as the GT86 does, and as always there's something VERY appealing about doing these big crimes in a car that's fairly common and easy to buy. Considering how many variations of both the production car and concepts are out there, it shouldn't be hard to cobble them all together into one very attractive fake car.

Also, there are like a dozen or so bodykits for these cars, right? Have the Benny's conversion give the car cut fenders and wider wheels and nothing else, and then have the actual widebody kits be further options within benny's.

2014-subaru-impreza-2.0-i-premium-auto-h

That's right, the normal-ass Subaru Impreza

To be honest I started writing this post intending to make a longer list but it'd just be cool to have the car I actually drive in the game. there's really no other reason
