Yeah I know people are tired of jets and military vehicles, but man wouldn't it be neat to fly around the map in a B-2?

 

I never knew how big these actually were until I saw it flying between two F-22 Raptors at the Salute to America Independence Day celebration.

don't give it any weapons but make it impossible to lock on and always off radar.

 

could be a great cargo vehicle.

Lots of military vehicles already, but this one caught my eye. It looks pretty interesting.

 

It's called a Scarabée - Made by a division of Volvo. Smaller and lighter than the U.S. Humvee, it comes with a diesel (rated for 620 miles), an additional electric engine, a 12.7-mm machine-gun turret, a 30-mm anti-tank weapon, and an array of radar systems, and it can be air-dropped if needed.

 

The Scarabée's wheels can turn independently of one another, allowing the Humvee to sort of scuttle sideways and in many other directions. With this free range of movement, the Scarabée could also complete a 180-degree turn on a dime, allowing the wheels to independently turn in opposite directions

1967-1977 NSU Ro 80

 

The unfortunate story of the last car made by the firm NSU before merging with Auto Union to become Audi. The Rotationskolben 80 had a promising future, a car highly praised for its aerodynamics and a technologically advanced powertrain that was meant to be produced until the 80's (hence the number). The Wankel rotary engine proved to be quite problematic. By the time the car was being produced, the company had developed an early reputation for unreliability and while most of the issues were resolved for 1970, the company was done. Volkswagen acquired NSU in 1969. In order to get through the 1973 oil crisis, UK owners could change their rotary engine for a Ford Essex V4 which was more fuel efficient and could provide more torque. I liked the car itself for its design but the story behind it made it more desirable.

It's just called a Hoffman X8.

 

Also the only way a Miata isn't a chick car is if it has a Hellcat engine in it.

Looks a bit like a 1937 Chrysler Airflow mixed with a Stout Scarab, maybe a dash of Peugeot 402. Of the four, I think I'd prefer an earlier 1934 Airflow, but that is an era of automobile we're sorely missing, whether they're streamlined or not.

It was an interesting car. It's rear engined with a 60° X shaped 8 cylinder motor I guess similar to an aircraft engine. It was commissioned by the Fisher brothers during a time when they were exploring a takeover of Hudson. Unfortunately not a whole lot of information exists about it as the creator took many secrets to his grave. Not sure if I'm allowed to post links here but I can Pm you the article if you want.

Hah, thank you, I already read it. They rightfully compare it to the Zephyr (and the Briggs concept car by extension), though I saw my own favorites in it. So many obscurities in the automotive histories, it's a wonder more hasn't been forgotten, and it's good to see a one-off or concept that didn't meet the scrapper. Lane Motor Museum in Nashville has a wealth of bizarre and rare things like that, if you ever get the chance to visit.

I think you are right about most of them,

1.-Bugatti La Voiture / Divo
2.-McLaren Senna
3.-It's made by Ocelot so it's a Jaguar or something similarly exotic like Maserati
4.-Looks like an Aston Martin but it's a new in-game brand that spells VYSSER I think (redditor pointed out for me that it's probably a based on Spyker)
5.-Lastly it's an Obey, so it's an AUDI (RS5 coupe maybe)

 

Car selection not really my cup of tea, hope we will have more than this... Audi is the only one I really like

They never show all the vehicles in the trailer. There will be plenty more cars in the update. We'll have to wait until Tuesday when foxysnaps uploads the pics.

3 - it really looks like a Lotus though (Exige front / Exige cup rear / 3-Eleven cockpit). R* also doesn't stick to one irl brand per in-game brand either.

4 - looks like a be a F620 successor, even though it's not the same brand

4 - yeah Audi. idk why it reminded me of the E92.

That livery actually looks alot like the real Senna GTR livery. Also the new Obey, I think it´s primarily based on a TT, the taillights look alot like Audi LED´s.

Straight off I'm gonna need two of those Bugs, two of those Sennas, one Spyker, one Lotus, one Audi (and I don't really like Audi's much but gotta try it, it could be great in game, and I'll just paint it dark and menacing anyway)

And that's just for starters, don't know what else is coming yet, but if there's only ten more garage spaces then I'll be selling quite a few cars to make room for new, which will pay for most of this dlc.. 

 

Aaah the dreaded garage re-shuffle is looming..

If the new Progen can take out the D8s, id be okay with that. Because, unlike the Devel 16, the Senna is a real car.

 

Also, the new C8 corvette has just been unveiled and is causing shockwaves in the car community. Maybe we'll see a new Coquette in an upcoming update....

Only a few days until the old casino is demolished and the ugly but nonetheless luxurious Diamond is put in its place. It's a bit late for suggestions, but I think a few of these vehicles would fit well with the ultra-luxury attitude this update seems to be taking. The others... well, I can't help but throw in some more eccentric things, y'know? A Toyota, a SAAB, an Aston Martin, a Rumpler, and an International Harvester. Let's get to it.

 

Toyota Century VG40

The Rolls-Royce of 1980s Japan. All the class, comfort, and exclusivity of owning a classic British luxury saloon with none of the old money image, and you get all the quirkiness of owning a vintage Toyota nobody east of Nemuro has heard of.

Like many midcentury European automobiles, the 96 here had a long life marked by little change beyond what was necessary, and as such has lived on to this day out of pure commonality. Kinda cute, kinda ugly, so I dig it.

What do you mean we already have the Aston Martin V8? This is totally different! It's faster and it's really really rare! I mean, it's no Lagonda, but I'll take a vintage Aston Martin if they give us one.

Rumpler Tropfenwagen

I briefly shared a few streamlined cars on the previous page, but here's one that takes it above and beyond. The Tropfenwagen here is clearly a car, but you'd be forgiven if you thought it was some kind of early airplane. It's weird, and I want a virtual one.

And something a bit more blue collar to round things out. IH's Travelette was a very early crewcab pick-up series, and the C-Series models are pretty hardy. Not my favorite IH trucks, but we could always do with more. It's been too long since the Kamacho...

I think my least favourite part is the front/headlight styling.

I really like it, some of my favorite cars are mid-engined and I think they did a good job on the styling. And my guess is we could actually see a gta version in the update, mules were driving around for some time and the overall shape isn´t that complex.
