The Blade deserved the same attention to detail that the Hermes, Hustler, Yoesmite, and others recently recieved.

 

Specifically meaning liveries, engine sound, and mods in general.

 

It's a cool idea that could have been 1000x cooler with all the right options. Now it's just a half baked gasser.

I'm not a fan of the way the suspension sits, but I agree in making it versitile so that you can make it stock or a gasser.

 

Recently got a Manana . . . I'm going to sell my Neon, I never drive modern cars in this game besides the Raiden. I never purchased a Tampa, so I need to get that ASAP.

 

Did they ever have a '72 Eldorado in this game? I'd be down for a gas guzzling yacht like that. I swear they did. More cars I want time!

While were talking about liveries.. I wish we could choose a livery for our non-smugglers rum aircraft. Perfect example is the Valkyrie. If you convert it to a personal vehicle and try to paint it, the livery disappears. (I can sorta understand that, I guess, since it randomly comes with one of a few different nose arts), but it would be awesome to have a list to choose from, as well as maybe even having some fresh, new liveries to pick from? Maybe even put countermeasures on non-Sr aircraft?

If I had to pick a normal civie vehicle, I would just want a normal Voodoo. Not the rust bucket we have now.

 

 

But because I'm a militaria man, I definitely want an Mi-28 to be added. We have a Hind, an Apache, why not a Havoc? Functions like the Apache, with MB and HM on it by default, and a copilot operated nose cannon. Don't know how to make it unique beyond the appearance though.

 

Oh, and maybe some SPAAGs? Like the LAV-25 AD or Tunguska?

You have to buy the upgrade at Benny's auto shop. It's quite expensive if I recall. But it'll give you the clean version. You can buy it from his website, but it'll be the rusty version until you take it to his shop.

I would have preferred getting a non-slammed Yosemite, similar to the one in San Andreas (I believe it's a PS2 exclusive so maybe not many of you have seen it before). The current Yosemite could be the custom version at Benny's or something.

The case of the Valkyrie is particularly strange because the Dodo has it's various liveries available in the hangar workshop. Why it isn't available for the Valkyrie is beyond me.

 

Alright, so today, I've got a bit of Americana to share. Two land yachts, a compact wanna-be muscle car, and something of a rarity.

 

1970+ Ford Maverick

 

1970s Lincoln Continental

 

1970s Cadillac Eldorado

 

1947 Hudson Pick-Up

 

I know we've already got a Continental and an Eldorado (in back-to-back updates, no less), but both are a few years older than the land yachts I'm positing.

Indeed, which is why I brought up the DeSoto Adventurer and '59 Buick a few pages back. Big fins. We've got quite a few 70s and 80s luxury rides already (more are always welcome!), but we're missing a lot of the classic, big, atomic age roadhogs. Of course, we're also lacking in some of the weirder rides of the 50s, from Studebaker to the Rambler family of both Nash and AMC. Interesting and vintage? Sign me up.

You know, most times if I don't agree with someone's choices for this thread, I just tell myself, "Hey, thats their opinion, and just because their's doesnt match yours doesn't make it a bad choice." But in this case, I'm pumping the brakes, bud. Hell, I'll stomp the brakes and put that idea right through the windshield. Hard, flat no. Flying deluxos with spammable idiot missiles are bad enough, I don't want the griefers to have the ability to "Deluxo" me from the comfort of a building. (Yeah, there's the orbital cannon, but I've never seen anyone use it on Xbox.) Hell, at that point I may as well quit playing Online, because freeroam sessions will just be a bunch of guys sitting around in whatever bunker the predator is attached to saying, "Noooo... YOU go outside! I'M not going outside!
