^I hate the newest Mustang bodystyle.

 

Changing the roofline/side windows is a huge mistake.

 

The fact that they even have the nerve to call that a Bullit is beyond me. Doesn't even have the right wheels.

 

Somebody showed me that car earlier. Man, I haven't not liked a Mustang in a long time, but that thing looks generic as f*ck. Like a 2 door Fusion.

 

 

In my humble opinion, the 2015 models and higher are just plain generic. It upsets me how streamlined the design for these cars are.... Its the same friggin slope design over and over and over again... and looking around, car design is just getting uglier. I prefer the pre 2015 models . . . 2005 to 2015 were good.

 

 

 

 

 

My personality goes like this . . . whether it be your room or an article of clothing, I feel like things should revolve around your tastes. I think they cater too much to 'practicality' while sacrificing varied design.

 

Um . . . The buick regal looks pretty cool.

 

I had a conversation the other day about the modern impala . . . Its grows on me.

 

The Challenger is pretty cool. So are Audi's I guess. Cadillac I find have lost their edge and have for a while. That Ciel concept would be a step in the right direction. I'm not a fan of Honda, Hyunday, etc. The Sonata and Elantra are decent looking, but the problem is all cars look the same.

 

This Russian concept is pretty nifty, its different. Move on from the aluminum toaster designs. . That's just me.

I'd like to propose you two brands that are related with the 24 hours of Le Mans and that could be nice to see alongside of the GT500, JB700, Sitrling Gt and the Blackfin.

 

First one, the 1955-1961 DB HBR5 :

Or Rene Bonnet Le Mans version (when the patners decided to separate their work) :

 

 

As for Panhard, the CD Le Mans from 1962 (first) and 1964 variant (second) :

I almost don't want the Dominator Classic anymore, because it will never live up to it's expectations. Too many designs to choose from and too many people to please. So if they're gonna release it, I'm actually afraid what kind of abomination it's possibly could be...

I would say Dominator Classic is the most important and obvious car missing from the game and R* knows it, so I think the only way to go, is to have more than one "Dominator Classic" Just like there are two classic Coquettes, it's more than justified to have two classic Dominators, just use a different name or name addition if necessary. (also I'm not a fan of the name "Dominator") Make Dominator Classic to be the early Mustang and reintroduce car like "Clover" as late 60's/early 70's Mustang or vice versa?

 

To further please the crowd, some modifications could also make the car look like it's another generation or body style (apart from obvious roof/no roof option)

If the base car were based on 64-66 HT Mustang, the "fastback" roof option would make it look like 67-68 fastback, etc.

 

Something like this was done in some of the midnight club games, where you were able to take an early C3 Corvette (vertical rear window & chrome bumpers) and with simple modifications to make it look like late C3 Corvette (long rear window & plastic integrated bumpers)

I love the Dominator name though.

 

There isn't really that many designs to choose from. The basic design elements for all '65-'70 Mustangs are the same.

Make Dominator Classic to be the early Mustang and reintroduce car like "Clover" as late 60's/early 70's Mustang or vice versa?

It would've made infinitely more sense for the GTA IV and V Stallion to be named Clover instead and the Stallion name was reserved for a Mustang lookalike, given that the Clover in San Andreas is mainly an Oldsmobile Cutlass, and so is the Stallion in GTA IV and V. Furthermore, up until GTA IV the Stallion had always taken most of its inspiration from first gen Mustang coupes, and even the name "Stallion" is a clear reference to Mustang, with them both being horses.

The Comets are okay, IMO - it's more stuff like the Raiden and Revolter that have me worried...

 

I reckon the best thing is to come up with a bunch of Mustangs, design the ideal blend of them, then spam the ever-lovin' sheet out of R* so that they get the message. I don't trust them enough to just ask for the real-world cars I want to see - need to actually specify how to translate them into GTAO, too.

 

 

On that note, I think I might have found a decent-ish secondary influence for making the S2000 work: the 2nd-gen Toyota Paseo (which I'll admit had flown completely under my radar!):

 

 

 

 

It's mainly the front (particularly the hood/lights) that I reckon would do it - obviously the danger would be that R* ends up making it FWD like the Paseo... But in general, I think that something combining the two would still end up recognisably S2000.

The Comets are fine for what they are, the Retro Custom is based on the RWB Porsches, the Safari is based on, well, a Porsche 911 Safari, the SF is based on the 911 GT3. They're all fairly accurate representations of their real life counterparts, they're just giving us all these widebody, off road, mandatory rollcage cars instead of what we actually want.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I do like all the Comets. I haven't purchased the Safari yet, just waiting for the inevitable 25% off sale, since I'm a cheap ass, but I own all the other Pfisters.

 

It's like you said though, they don't seem to want to give us the Comet Classic that we really want. Same story seems to go for the Dominator.

Then one day we get a Dominator RH8 for the super class based off the Mustang GT-R, Price 550k. =P

Attention, people who talk about the Ferrari FF: this is a shooting brake. 2-door, 2-seater, and with a big, hearse-like rear cargo area (hatchback, of course), long enough to lay a couple of rifles and maybe a few pheasants end-to-end. Hence 'shooting'.

 

(Station wagon/estate is the same kind of thing, but the rear area can be a generic hatch, not a long one, and it needs to have full rear seating - the name implying you can get an entire party either from the 'station', or to your 'estate'...)

 

 

...oh, and yeah, I don't dislike the idea of a Mustang brake - frankly, with the angular hatches on your average SB, I'm surprised we haven't seen more muscle brakes, since the conversion blends a lot better than a lot of the squared-off hatches on otherwise-streamlined grand tourers (plus it'd fit in with a lot of the more 'incremental' variants common with US cars at the time, like the old idea of a '2-door sedan'). At the very least, there's got to be a few good-looking brakes based on muscle-y tourers like the Jensen Interceptor or AM DBS, right?

As far as I know there are no Jensen Interceptor Shooting Brakes. And the closest I can think of a classic late 60s muscle shooting brake is the Intermeccanica Murena GT.

I'm just meaning, they could tweak the little info-blurb to mention it on the Warstock site.

In unrelated hopes: if we do get a naval dlc, could we get a torpedo bomber? Something like the Grumman TBF Avenger? (2 seater, with a rear facing .50 cal, single rotary engine, etc.. only slightly larger than, say, the Nokota or the Rouge?) I don't know how the torpedos would work; maybe you can only fire them at a low level or something, and they aren't homing, but if they hit they do 2x the damage of homing missles?

I would love to have this with the option to install sport transmission so I can compete with some sports cars and low end supers, had about 600 horsepower in the 90s. Only picture and video I can find of this car/

That would be cool, don't get me wrong, but I'm only knowledgeable enough about cars to be dangerous. Military history is more my jam, and that's what I feel more comfortable suggesting most of the time. I'll leave the muscle cars and sports classics up to you guys, for the most part. (Though, a '49 Mercury woody wagon would be awesome.. as would a '60s Ford Fairlane GT..)

 

 

If we do get a naval dlc, I'd hope they'd add Gordon Lightfoot's "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" to Los Santos Rock Radio. I think it would fit both the theme of the dlc, and the theme of the radio station itself.

I fully expect them to add the Interceptor at some point actually. It is a perfect fit for GTA Online based on what they already added.
