Nobody mentioned sports classics, you just quoted a comment that didn't mention it and started talking about sports classics being better than "ricers or a prius".

 

What the comment you replied to was getting at is that R* keeps adding cars to the sports class that don't belong in the sports class, like the Streiter, which is a 4x4 SUV.

Have you guys ever found a new music that you like and put it to play all day long until you got bored of it?

 

It seems to me that Rockstar is like us... But with adding cars to a class. It started with the supers and now it's with the sports classics! It's not that I don't like sports classics. I rather drive one than a supercar. But, at least don't release all cars as sports classics on every dlc haha give us cars from other classes too, not just one class.

Also Rockstar could just add a S14.5 into the game and call it a day.

I think we do need at least one more vintage tuner, a Skyline C110 would be perfect.

 

As for the riveted kits.. I can see why you don't like it, but R* will probably not go to the effort of giving stock and widebody options, really.

 

If there must be a compromise I think they should at least give a widebody BRZ, since it's an iconic look for the car. And yeah, they should just add a proper Skyline C110; I didn't realise initially that was an S14 in that pic, but it still looked good IMO.

 

And hey, Rocket Bunny has pedigree, it's inspired by old Japanese racers. It's not just a pile of crap put together.. not always anyway. I like the 'practical' look

I don't have an issue with widebody kits but I feel like R* thinks it's the start and end of what constitutes tuner modifications. Plus R* has forgotten Benny's exists so any widebody mods have to either come stock or be issued with awful looking space between the fenders and the stock track width.

Thing with a lot of the riveted widebody kits is that they're a more modern trend, and tend to cater to either newer things (Toyota 86), supercars (Huracán), or ...things that sit right in the middle of that particular Venn diagram (R35 GT-R).

 

I'd be okay with R* adding an 'Elegy RH8 Custom' upgrade at Benny's, turning the RH8 into a widebody thing similar to the Banshee 900R, because that's entirely appropriate:

 

 

But for something like a Supra? Yeah, I'm more partial to the Bomex/Veilside look from ...f*** me - nearly 20 years ago.

 

 

 

(not least because that just means some matching front/rear bumpers and skirts, plus hood/spoiler options - no mandatory widebody conversion involved)

Agreed. I've always hated the newer style. I can't begin to tell you how much I HATE the 99-03's I believe. The only early 2000's Mustang I even remotely like is the 03 SVT Cobra R and even then I still don't like it that much haha. I've always wanted a 96 Mystic Cobra or just a 98 Saleen S-281. I know a lot of people hate em' but I also know a lot of people that love em' but I wouldn't mind a fox body style

Something that might work: a mix of Toyota 86, and GMRN Sports FR Concept Platinum:

 

 

 

I could see an 86 with the Platinum's bumper and rear styling, possibly - that'd maintain the overall look of the 86. Beyond that, even if R* did a full blend that doesn't really look specifically like either, it'd still make for a decent-looking car, IMO, and at least there'd be a certain logic behind it...

While we're on the topic of GT-86 here is my take on it. Keep everything as close to the real life GT-86 as possible with some secondary influence from LFA similarly to the LFT-86 kit pictured bellow.

 

 

You could also take some inspiration from the FT-86 concepts, like using the rear lights from FT-86 II with the rear of GT-86.

It's way too slow when our characters jump in their car, stop, lean over, stop, start vehicle, stop, then finally begin moving. Especially when you're running for your life.

If I'm not mistaken, if you tap Triangle/Y to exit a vehicle in GTA IV, you exit the vehicle without turning it off, you need to keep pressing said button to get out and turn off the car at the same time.

 

Why R* didn't kept this for GTA V/Online, I have no idea.

R* could always add some new tuner shop, like Benny's and LSC, but only to allow us to change stuff like track width and camber, then give us options for both widebody and regular bodykits.

 

idk if they'd be arsed to do that though when the state of the core gameplay is how it is, lol.
