I'm not sure if a lot of people know why the deluxe always made by imponte. But I'm assuming the reason is because John DeLorean himself worked for Pontiac for a good amount of time and actually invented the first muscle car in production which was the GTO. This is just my best guess. And since the 240z is now going to be released in the Grand Theft Auto V I have no legitimate reason to return to this forum however, I'll be sticking around until I see the release of a Toyota Supra

(and I'll pre-empt the 'but the Dukes is a Charger, though!' counterpoint by saying no, a hodge-podge of Pontiac GTO models is not an adequate substitute for a proper Charger - and if R* can follow up the Tyrus with the much nicer GP1, then they can do the same with the Dukes and a real Charger... )

I like how the Charger in that pic (the staged wheelie scene) clearly has normal tires on it so they could make the tires spin and smoke at the same time as a wheelie. Every other scene it has slicks on it lol.

The reason I had them they way they where is because they where updated version's of them and they some of them would look like that in the game possible

Updated doesn't necessarily mean improved, especially not in the case of that Mitsubishi "eclipse" SUV. Not to mention that two of them are concept cars that don't even exist...

Assuming the tweet is real which I'm still not 100% sold on;

Well to start with the Merit, Sabre 'Classic', Marbelle and Western Hellfury are all probably gonna be returning cars from GTA IV: in spoiler, same order as mentioned

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Dom Classic will have a 99% chance of being a 60's mustang, whether a regular or a 'Gone in 60 seconds' Eleanor looking thing ( ). The Dominator Sturgis is likely going to be an autocross/rallycross/race Mustang (Sturgis Mustang is a real-life Mustang car show). The Vapid Jupiter could be the new Uranus (foxbody Mustang). The Pfister "Operator" may be a classic 911 (thanks to Rafae for the theory - 911 gets you to the emergency services operator in the US). But that's just my theory, take all of this with a grain of salt (and the tweet with a full shaker)

Yeah - I wouldn't at all be surprised if R* did the same with the Dominator Classic/Sturgis as they did with the Comet Retro Custom/Safari, and make the Classic have extra body mods as standard:

And, like I said in the Next DLC thread, that sounds so much like cut content from Hipster 2/Doomsday Heist (because it's so very similar to the stuff we're getting in this update), that I wouldn't be surprised if we got a Special Vehicle Circuit or Lowriders: Custom Classics thing in March-ish next year, combining those leftover cars with the stuff 'ported' over from GTA IV, like the Merit, Hellfury, etc. - it's an easy way to make a quick update out of existing content.

I would like to suggest one of my favorite attack helicopter, the Aérospatial/Eurocopter AS565 Panther :

 

 

That would be a good excuse for an upgraded version of the Volatus/Swift/Valkyrie (i don't know which one is the closest one, apparently the Volatus is a cousin of the Dolphin, the civilian version of this aircraft, but at the same time the nose is closer to the Swift, and the back is exactly the same one as the Valkyrie).

Considering recent developments and the new roster of cars offered in this latest DLC, I'd say the chances of even more classic and civilian-grade vehicles are bigger than before.

I'll jot down some notes of automobiles I, myself, would love to see added in the game further down the line.

Starting with the King, that would effectively "close" the game for me. If this one comes, I wouldn't even ask for the rest.

The Dominator Classic. Although the image provided is of the 1969 Ford Shelby GT500 model, because it's my favourite, just a Classic Dominator would be enough for me. The "Eleanor" is my least favourite, being honest, but any other from '65 to '72 would be perfect.

Keeping it simple, my ideal Dominator Classic would have the front of the GT500 above and the back of the Mach 1 below.

 

 

But I would go one step further: add a Benny's Dominator Classic Custom. Bring a Dominator to be converted and then mix and match different parts from classic models and build the retro Dominator of your dreams.

Perfect way to make justice to such an iconic family of cars. A man can dream.

Take this idea and crank it to eleven by giving out a Dominator Custom that can be made to resemble different models of modern Mustang and Shelby cars. I'd fill an executive garage full of these cars, old and new.

Still, classic before modern, any time.

And just more muscles over all. I'd also suggest the usual suspects like a Gauntlet and Buffalo classic, as well as a modern Camaro, among many other muscle cars. It's my favourite class, and I just wish we got more of those, more often.

Turning my attention to other cars, here's a few suggestions:

 

 

Issi Classic, and nothing else other than a Mini 1000 will do. 70's times in car form. An European classic that turns heads nowadays when one is seen on the street. Compact charm from a far gone era.

 

 

 

 

The Peugeot 106 XS, Citroën AX and Fiat Uno. Portuguese working-men's most reliable partners. Cheap, quick, deeply customizable, working class heroes. Ready for civilian, ricer or tuned specifications. The cars that could fit the entire family for a beach trip or all the tools for construction. These three would mash well together, I think.

 

 

The 1986 Land Rover Defender 90. I've driven around in one of these and it's just badass. Rude engine working and rattling.

Thinking about tuners (because I do a lot of that - particularly given how little love R* gives the poor things... ), and I still reckon this'd be the best combination for a mostly-Supra thing:

 

 

 

Same for the 300ZX - personally, I think the ideal thing is to stay as close as possible in terms of era, country, and even manufacturer. Hence why A80 Supra front/T200 Celica liftback rear - and likewise, Z32 300ZX front, S13 240SX fastback rear:

 

 

 

(that's of course ruling out the possibility of just doing like the Deluxo, and keeping the resemblance limited to just the one car - that'd be ideal, obviously!)

Man, there's a focking bike that flies! Add storymode JB700 gadgets wouldn't be op or even hard to do.
