A classic Weeny Issi and a regular BF Injection based on a normal Beetle.

Agreed.

We've tried red, white and blue Weeny Issi rallies but they don't capture that Italian Job feel all that well. :/

Bentley Bentayga

Look up the Huntley S, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised

C'mon! Huntley S have a wheel-base & size of B-SUV class looks like glamorous polished bedside table. Very big dissonance between styling & sizes / proportions.

Huntley S Dash-to-Axle ratio is horrible!

It should something like XLS.

It's still clearly based on the Bentayga's prototype. And coincidentally ended up looking more like the production model than the prototype.

Doesn't GTA 5 have enough spaceships?

We need more vehicles from this period 1940-2000 :)

I would say it looks like Land Rover Evoque who have a Bentayga front make-up - headlights, fascia & grille.

Not painted Pillar-A, small dash-to-axle, small distance from rear axle to rear fascia, ground clearance - true crime!

Just scale it up to XLS, Baller...

Übermacht TP '17 - Fokker Dr.I

The descendant of the company that made the engines for Fokker aeroplanes in WW1 was purchased by BMW in the 90s. BMW also first started out by making aero engines in WW1. Since Übermacht is the GTA equivalent to BMW, it seemed like the best option for a manufacturer.

Though, Fokker themsleves had financial backing from Daimler-Benz for a long time, so maybe Benefactor would also work.

___

Benefactor Adlerwaffe - Messerschmitt Bf 109

Daimler made the engines for the 109, hence Mercedes/Benefactor as a manufacturer

____

Maibatsu Sakurashi - Nakajima A6M2-N

The Nakajima A6M2-N was a seaplane version of the Mitsubishi A6M 'Zero'.

Sakurashi literally means 'death blossom', in poor grammar.

___

Übermacht Brüller - Junkers Ju 87

Junkers merged with a few companies to become what is today Airbus. Another one of those companies was Focke Wulf. Focke Wulf aeroplanes in WW2 were frequently powered by BMW engines. Very very long reach, but it's better than nothing. Brüller means 'bellow' or 'howl', fitting name for the infamous siren attached to the Ju 87 'Stuka' divebomber.

(In-game fitted with 2-3 bombs that can be dropped, but require a steep dive to be aimed correctly. Have the 'horn' button toggle the dive siren on and off)

___

Enus Rustler - Supermarine Spitfire

The Spitfire was powered by Rolls Royce. Enus is primarily based on Rolls Royce.

Mix of attack + close range bomber jet! Something like a A-10, Sukhoi-25.

Less or X number of homing missles, buuut with a feature to attack a small area by missles or bombs/grenade maybe with reduced power to avoid disbalance.

I am very consufed that no extra wheels were added (with odd number of sections)

My world fell apart somewhat when I realised that the front of the Ruiner is a Z31 300ZX - surely just '3rd-gen Firebird + 3rd-gen Camaro' would have been a more logical way to go - ? And I say that as someone who likes the Z31 - probably would have been better to combine that with, say, the RX-7 FC.

But then again, I'm starting to realise that some of my issues with more recent GTA cars (once again, the FMJ... :sigh:) stem from GTA IV - little things like slapping VW front ends on the Rhapsody and Blista Compact, or the vaguely Pagani-ish rear end of the Infernus. On the whole, things seem to be getting better - recent things like the Elegy Retro and the GP1 are some of the best GTA car designs in a long time, IMO, so hopefully that holds true for future releases.

(...yes, I know we still get things like the Itali GTB... :p)

The Ruiner doesn't really look like a 3rd-gen Camaro in my eyes, ever noticed it's body length and it's wideness.

I always thought it was a mix between a Trans Am from the mid 80s mixed with some Japanese and European influences.

R* Should have done a better job on some muscle cars.

And for the love of God no more spaceships!

Yeah, there's not really much Camaro in the Ruiner (mainly just the rear end) - and that's kinda the problem, IMO. Like I say, I don't see why R* couldn't have used a mix of Camaro/Trans Am elements for the front end, and kept it strictly 'muscle', while saving the Z31 influences for something more appropriate. But eh, if wishes were horses...

On a related note, 'import tuners vs. classic muscle' would make such a good backbone for an update - I've come up with at least two concepts, centred around anything from underground racing to black market convoys. Think anything from the earlier Fast & Furious films to things like Smokey and the Bandit - it'd be a solid fit with GTAO, and provide an ideal opportunity to fill in two glaringly-neglected niches. That, and having two themes for the cars in said update would most likely to cater to more people's tastes - some folk might appreciate a Mustang, others a Supra, while some players would be happy to get both. And yeah, it'd make a change from all the high-end/concept/cutting-edge stuff that makes up the majority of GTAO car releases.

The Ruiner from the front is a mix of Firebird and Fairlady. The sides are pure Camaro, the rear is 75% Camaro 25% Firebird. In short, it's about 60% Camaro, 30% Firebird, 10% Nissan Z.

It's a bit like the Elegy Retro Custom in that respect - except where the Elegy mixes three successive models of Skyline GT-R (mostly R32, with a blend of R34 elements at the rear and R33 at the front), it's that Z31 front on the Ruiner that cheeses my spuds. :p Did it really need a third car shoved into the mix?

That's what I like about the Infernus Classic - it's mostly Diablo, with a few bits tweaked to blur the resemblance, and the little bit of Testarossa isn't a bad choice, since the end result winds still looking pretty spot-on to certain Diablo models, even from the front. Or even better, the GP1 - there's no real secondary/tertiary influences there, other than shuffling a few elements around (particularly at the back), some R*-designed custom body mods, and concessions to GTAO standardisation like it being a conventional 2-seater (instead of the iconic F1 centre seat).

I bet if you ask the average person though, they will immediately call the Ruiner a Firebird or a Camaro. You and I may know what influences a certain car may have, but I'd say the overall look definitely is still Firebird/Camaro, even the front.

The Ruiner 2000 though is like, way closer though lol. If we could get that front end, preferably with a front lower spoiler, on a regular Ruiner that would be awesome.
