To challenge yourself to beat R* time, but some times they are quite easy.

It was.

Beat it on my 2nd try but wasn't happy with the time so I never entered the goal and beat it on my 3rd try instead with a better time.

Seriously, all the people that come into these threads and whine about how these are "just for bikes - pulling wheelies", why don't you go and play the other 99.99% of the game that revolves around cars and keep your whine to yourselves.

 

These things are not for motorbikes. They're just the fastest land vehicles in the game. Get over it.

Yeah, if only people who don't like bikes in the game would at least elaborate what kind of land race would be good just for the cars. Bikes are the fastest andorra nimble things in this game, and if TT's can only be made with few supers and some bikes, i really don't see a problem with it. I hope that off-road class would be great for offroading, and all the else would suck, but since that is not the case, i think TT's are good now. If you could do them in a Faggio or golf cart, you could just do it really quick n' easy on a Hakuchou.

for me, personally, the par time is the quickest time in this thread, so sometimes it takes me a few days to get under par, no matter how easy or hard the trial is.

Anyway, I made it with less than 0.1 seconds left after seven or eight attempts, not a good time but the 52K is in the bag so good enough for me.

Very true. I often see notifications popping up saying that such-and-such a player has finished the time trial, and they're well over a minute over par. I can't help but wonder if the triangle or Y button on their controller is bust

Understand that the majority of Online players aren't even TRYING to beat these. I have a pretty large number of friends who play and after the first couple of trials, all but one friend gave up on ever doing them. Even when I tell these guys that the new one is easy (as Sawmill was), they don't bother with it. They've just decided they aren't good enough at driving to worry about it.

 

The people posting in here are the exact opposite end - good drivers who do every single trial. A few of us are incredibly skilled - I am a decent driver but I don't think I could ever get times close to Oleg's, for instance, or match Mach's feats with the likes of the Dominator.
