My friend had 99% done, and the only thing he was missing was 1st place at the hotring. Once he got that first place, he was 100% finished the game. Does that explain it for ya. He had been complaining to me for like a week saying "im stuck and 99%, you need to help" I saw it with my own eyes, ask everybody with 100%, they got first at the hotring. Purple9 Posted February 2, 2003 Share Posted February 2, 2003 Just to clear this up - the following is required at the Stadium (to make up 100%) ·1st in Hotring - The position determines how much money you will receieve - obviously the higher you finish the higher the amount of money) ·To complete Dirt Ring (time will not matter) ·To stay in Bloodring 1minute or more. (It stops after you reach 1minute, but if you go back in it stretches to 2 etc) It might have been less hassle for you to go to the pinned 100% spoilers topic at the top..but.. I thought the people that said what they said knew what they were talking about.. thats why i even bothered to mention it here. i NEVER give people false advice if i dont know from firsthand experience. I did not do that here either.. i told the kid that it was a possibility that he could get 100% with 2nd or 3rd because ppl claimed they had done it. Well at the start it says 1st, 2nd and 3rd qualify as wins and I came as 2nd and it went up by 1%. But not everything gives you a percent. I did checkpoint charlie and it didn't go up a %.
