This is my Dukes, it is Burnt Orange which was a colour that was offered on the 1970 Dodge Charger, along with some dog dish hub cap steel wheels in black, a vinyl roof and a six pack hood scoop. The Burnt Orange is made with Sunset Red with Bright Orange Pearlescent

 

The amount i wanted the Dukes over the past year can only be described by saying i only bought an Xbox One and GTA V just to get this car, everything else that next gen has to offer to me is just a added bonus, i constantly asked Rockstar to add this car and when i found out it was to be released with next gen i could not believe what i had read, this is truly the best car in all that GTA V is and will ever be.

 

Actually, that's closer to a Mopar superstock hood.

 

 

This is one of the first results i got when typing in Mopar Six Pack Hood Scoop, it looks almost identical to the one in GTA V, it even has the slight overhang at the front. So no it doesn't not really look like that one you have shown.

 

 

 

I actually forgot about that one. You're right. I was thinking of the shaker hood for some reason.

Well it was kind of a whitish pink/orange glow. I had planned on playing with the color saturation in the video editor but couldn't find anything that worked very well.

Learn to make a decent post without double posting within just one single post. The car looks like a Barbie car as it is IMO, Mopar or not. Also you should learn to 'think' a bit better because thats not a French flag. Good car to use with a female character though. Now stop acting butthurt.

I wonder if the car they used for that scene was white. As for the flag, the scottish flag is a closer match to the confederate flag imo. Also at night under certain lighting it appears red and blue just like a rebel flag.

The car used for the Ghost of General Lee was indeed white, they needed it to be white to get the orange glow to reflect better, you can even get a white toy version of the General Lee that is based on this car.

I kept it orange but used pearl orange and added the pearl white and white neon and planned on making the whole scene have an orange hue but couldn't find a way in windows movie maker. There's an effects setting that cycles through the colors but none that lets you choose a specific one.

It's not level-locked... you can only buy it if you transferred your character from ps3 / 360, unfortunately. Same with the Stallion and Blista Compact.

Still haven't got one ...yet. Seeing a lot of 'Pontiac GTO' in the front end, to the point where' I'm thinking of scrapping the 'Dom Toretto' look for it, and going with a Judge/Charger hybrid look for it (i.e., lots of orange paint!):

Haven't really decided on a final color scheme for the first character's. Besides the current one, I've tried "Sublime", "Panther Pink" and "Plum Crazy" imitations, all of which look good.

I am curious, what Pontiac is the Dukes based on? Because Imponte does Pontiac (and sometimes Chevy, since both are/ were a part of GM) based cars.....but the Dukes looks like a Dodge Charger, and Bravado is the Dodge company.

Yeahh, it was bound to happen, but not much we can do about it I guess. Too iconic to ignore..

 

It's pretty tough to have an individual design without it looking odd, especially with the secondary color being where it is. Black and chrome is how I made mine, and while it isn't original, in my eyes, it gives one of the cleanest looks you can make out of the Dukes. Chrome rims would seal the deal though.. Same goes for more customizable parts, but I can't complain. The Dukes is a beast of a muscle car in this game.

It has some LeMans styling ques. You have to realize that they are fictional car companies, and are not meant to copy real companies exactly. In GTA world Imponte makes the old Charger. Volvo made Skyline. Albany made a GTO/Riviera.

 

 

Don't put too much though into it. It's all just pretend.

Nope. I've wanted a general lee replica dukes for my garage for quite a while. The only time i've changed mine was for the dirty mary crazy larry scene i filmed.
