2016 Valentine DLC Thread

Damn that Valor and the clothes put a hole in my pocket. I do like the amount of different suits and fedoras. The shoes also match each respective suit.

No worries - to be fair, there's not a breakdown of the actual item prices yet, which'd be a lot more handy, frankly!

Based on the individual item prices I've seen, I'm estimating about $270K for all male clothing and around $320K for females.

 

Most of the time, the outfit prices are a rip-off... Buying each individual item, then paying the $100 to "unlock" the outfit is cheaper than buying the outfit in one shot at the counter.

 

From my experience, it costs about $1K more per outfit to buy from the outfit counter. Not a lot and not always the case, but if you're gonna buy everything anyway, might as well save a few bucks if you can.

I actually have the roosevelt but it's on another account on PS3 and I haven't transferred those characters over to PC yet (because I have to buy the game TWICE). I will probably just buy another code off G2A or something.

 

I did like the car but, I never used it on missions and only cruising around,which was rare.

 

I was grinding for money like crazy on last gen,so it just sat there collecting dust.

 

If I did have it now,it would be sitting right along with the Valor.

3. The roof can be painted but not without a trainer; in the trainer, the trim category in the Benny's menu controls the color of the Valor's roof, but I didn't see a trim option anywhere in LSC. Hopefully this is not intentional and will be fixed when the DLC comes out, because every Valor being stuck with a light blue roof is going to severely limit color schemes.

I agree that hopefully it will be fixed but I don't like our chances. Everyone with a Roosevelt is stuck with a black roof

 

Edit-All the Valors I transferred over had black roofs, not the colour shown in the video. Maybe it is random what colour you get?

It doesn't fit with every other colors.

Bleh, the gangster theme again. Especially that the new car is pretty much the same as the old roosevelt. Should've gone with some 60s-70s, hippie summer of love theme this time with tye dye shirts, headbands and leather vests.

I don't see why it would cause stability problems since the content is already there and it's still in use by some players who purchased these items 2 years ago. All R* needs to do is to unlock the items again. I think.

Haha people will complain about everything now. If they have justification as to what they're crying about (like if they lose their Benny's modifications for their Banshee 900R), then I can sort of understand why they're complaining. But if it's things like "Oh my god the Sultan RS can't beat a T20", then you should put the controller down, eject the disc, insert another game, and stay off GTA until you actually want to play it.

I swear that some play this game despite hating it just to torture themselves, like it's a weird fetish.

Looking at the dress outfits, 'The Blues' at $18k is a lot cheaper than the $56k 'The Admirer' - but 'The Admirer' has a gold designer cuff and designer watch, and possibly some of the Ill-Gotten Gains earrings as well, whereas 'The Blues' doesn't have much beyond old and new Valentine's stuff and the (cheap!) beret.
