When I originally saw the first picture of the Valor I could've swore that it looked longer than the Roosevelt, but I guess I'm wrong. It's a real disappointment.

No big deal for me if the original Roosevelt won't comeback, the Valor is a fair alternative.

 

But I really hope the rest of the VDM items comes back, Can't wait for these long nose masqurade masks.

i was in a Valor the other day and to me it looked smaller than the roosevelt.

It's not, they're the same size. I went ingame to compare them side by side in single player, here are the results (both completely stock):

 

 

The only differences are the wheels, the roof, and the mirrors on the spare wheels. The headlights on the Valor do not have the mesh screen that the Roosevelt's lights have but there is a mod that adds them.

 

Something interesting to note is that the rear spare wheel is not a spoiler, they've added an entirely new category for it. The spare wheel on other vehicles, like the Dubsta and Stirling GT, were in the spoiler category in trainers if I remember correctly, so I don't think this will affect performance:

 

 

Edit: I also tried using the trick where you go rapidly back and forth to remove the spare wheels, but it didn't work. I checked the extras in the trainer and it has 0, meaning you cannot remove the spare wheels or the trunk from the Valor.

"R* it's in your game code, I'm pretty sure it's a turnable DLC like Independence Day, Christmas, and this new Halloween DLC. It's time you fix whatever was wrong with the mask, fix the dresses, and turn the switch to activate it.

 

We only ever had this DLC once, in 2013 and boy am I happy I brought a Roosevelt and didn't wait till the following year, because I'd never of gotten one.

 

But look at where the game is now, 2015, will be 2016 when Valentine rolls around again. The game is out on a whole new console and are PC. There are tons of new players since 2013 who never even had a opportunity at a Roosevelt, Tommy Gun, the clothing, etc.

 

It's time R* patch whatever problems this DLC has and bring it back around, cause it's unfair to all new players who wasn't even around 3 years to get this stuff if they wanted it. It's time R*, stop being lazy and deleting things that has issues (Tow Trucks, Lost Slam Van had no interiors, etc). For once R*, FIX something that has issues."

 

The ONLY thing I lost was the hair style with the feather (was it really THAT hard to fix Rockstar?) I still have all masks all undergarments and dresses (they already fixed die and lose the dress thing awhile ago) I am Elric_Francis92 on the PS4 and will show you she still has it all.

I hope those false reporting turd monkeys get penalised. R* can look into my a/c all they want. I sometimes chrome it to say to them go swivel. I would have hoped for a cabriolet / coupe Roosevelt, not some measly prettier spare wheels, but nice if it's coming back for reals.

The Valentine's Day Massacre Special, in 2014, had the stuff available from February 13th to March 3rd. That was about 2 weeks or so. I'd make a guess that R* will release the 2016 Valentine DLC, in about two weeks, on the 11th possibly (Thursday) and will have their Event that following weekend as well.

An update on my testing from yesterday: I was messing around with the Valor again in single player, and this time the category for the rear spare wheel was called "Spoiler," so I'm not sure what happened last time but it seems it is indeed a spoiler and therefore will include a traction bonus. I couldn't feel any difference between them when driving online on ps4 other than the valor having slightly less wheelspin (the wheel does act as a spoiler) but I'm betting the handling file is identical.

It could have just been placebo, but I swear it was noticeably faster when both vehicles were completely stock (meaning no spoiler on the Valor). I might take a look at the handling files later and compare the raw data.

 

Edit: you're right, it was just placebo. The only difference in their handling files is that the Roosevelt's fMass value (only used when colliding with another vehicle) is 2400, whereas the Valor's is 2420. Everything else is identical.

Yeah, noobs to GTA Online need to be careful not to make too many assumptions about what's been in the world long before they got there... lol

 

In spite of all the flak they take (and sometimes deserve) the one thing I greatly appreciate about GTA Online YouTubers [XpertThief, MrBossFTW, NoughtPointFourLive, Iamfallfromgrace] was/is that they helped me get acquainted with the GTA Online world, and stay current with everything for over a year until I got a PS3 for myself (then later transferred to PC).

Probably shortly before next weekend, in time for Valentine's Day (obviously! ) - Thursday 11th or Friday 12th, perhaps with an event weekend of some kind - and then available for maybe the next fortnight after, or at the longest, until the end of February.
