SolidCheat Posted January 31, 2003 Share Posted January 31, 2003 Gameshark is a cheating device that basically alters the way a game works. Its along the lines of a Game Genie, except way more popular. Gameshark is available in a variety of platforms and dates all the way back to SNES, and even before, I believe. You can get more information here (http://www.gameshark.com). Essentially you just punch in codes which are a mix of letters and numbers, and, in turn, it alters the way the game runs, maxing out cash and whatnot. Some modchips also incorporate gameshark-style programs in their hardware, too. You can find Gameshark (at least in Canada), in Wal-Mart, Future Shop, and almost any other place that sells videogames and videogame accessories. The price ranges from about 35-50 dollars from what I've seen. Its worth it if you're some hardcore cheater with nothing better to do, but alot of gamers really look down on those who use it, mostly because its a cheating device. They lost their right to the name, so Datel, the parent company who developed the device in the Uk, has taken over codehacking operations. So, dont buy a Gameshark, buy an Action Replay. It's the same device, just now it's distributed under the same name they use in the UK. Also, for codes, gameshark.com is down, because it doesnt exist anymore. So, go to Codejunkies.com and go to codejunkies usa, not europe. Then just choose your codes, or find out what you need. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Like compare GTA3 codes with Vice codes. There is no competition there, GTA3 codes are way better. I was just telling him as a heads up. He wanted to know, so I told him.
