Niobium 11,807
fight club is much more fitting in TLAD with the hardcore biker scene and death metal than it is with the partying and expensive cars. johnny even says he loves brawling. so why is fight club in TBOGT instead of TLAD? my guess is that fight club was being made for TLAD but they decided to scrap it, and then later decided to bring it back for TBOGT. pxoesijwr, Eliz, fefenc and 5 others
PhillBellic 24,575
Why not have it in both. However have TLAD's Fight Club in a different Location, perhaps somewhere in the Acter Industrial Park, or Tudor Regions? Ivan1997GTA

UshaB 3,751
It makes sense for both. TLAD being more of a brawling type of thang. I still feel it fits better in TBOGT (not because of it's colourful theme) because of the protagonist, Luis. A dude with a lean muscular physique who got big in prison to fend off other inmates. He seems like the healthier athletic type that can perform fighting movements, so it feels suited for him more plus he's got those canon kickboxing skills. It also kinda makes sense for Johnny to go all out brawling though. Thelema93

UshaB 3,751
I wish the nightclubs were open in TLAD. That wouldn't really seem to fit. Unless they sold drugs to the happy party goers. Did I just make a generalised accusation? Anyway, that's what I think.
B Dawg 10,421
I wish the nightclubs were open in TLAD. Only if you have to throw bombs/shoot everyone up inside for a mission. Also yeah, would have loved Cage Fighting in TLAD. I'd do it in TBOGT more often, but when you switch models via SNT, your character can't do combos.
Gummy 3,532
I could see fight clubs in TLaD fitting well, maybe in an abandoned subway station or something.
slimeball supreme 9,445
I mean, Luis did Cage Fighting. Johnny didn't. It's there because it's part of the story. I could see bar fights working, but not cage fighting. Betting on which biker comes out on top in a no hold barred bar fight. The Dedito Gae, Hybrid_Punk and UshaB

thafablifee46 983
yeah they could have fighting in the clubhouse, either at the bar or in the cage. even though johnny would get his sh*t kicked in lol but it definently fits the theme
BlackSnow176 1,057
I never got the "fighter" vibe from Johnny, even though he shared the same fighting moves as Niko and Luis. He's tough, but in my opinion, as a character, he wouldn't last long in the cage fights, especially in later stages. Plus his bike injuries (he walks with a slight limp and sprints slower than Niko and Luis) make all the MMA stuff ridiculous when he counters with a kick to the head or a spinning punch. We all know what Rockstar's like when it comes to melee combat. All character's needed separate styles. It can't be that hard to change could it? I mean modders can do it why can't R* do it. American Viking 1,627
I too think that a fight club of sorts would've been better placed in TLaD. It would've been great to be able to compete in cage fights right there in the clubhouse...hell, we could travel to other clubhouses and fight their champions too. I can see Johnny competing or prizes...maybe a new bike or a military grade weapon. The only issue I have with that is that Johnny is a little disabled. I'm sure he could win a few of the lower tier fights but he's in no condition to be fighting champions. I always felt the fight club in TBoGT was just out of place. Luis never struck me as someone who would use his time to compete in such a thing. He always struck me as a pretty boy, ladies man who would be big on the club scene. GTA-Biker 6,340
Yeah,I agree that cage fighting would fit the gritty themes of TLAD and GTA 4,probably better than TBOGT (which is mostly about luxury lifestyle, night clubs and partying).I even remember seeing some of the cage fighters that use character models of bikers,so cage fighting isn´t something unknown to Liberty City biker gangs. And also, while Johnny does have some problems with running because of his bike accidents, that doesn´t mean he´s not a tough fighter, and according to some of his dialogue he has experience in brawling. Another thing that I think should have been done differently is that each protagonist should have his own fighting style (those military-style fighting moves and weapon disarms fit Niko well since he´s a former soldier, but they look weird when performed by an outlaw biker or a night club bouncer),but for some reason R* repeated the same mistake in GTA 5 too. Brian Grey 727
The cage fights would really suit Johnny's lifestyle, we see him in alot of gun fights with the AOD and he fits right in and we see Angels of Death members in cage fights in TBoGT. What says he wouldnt be apart of that because he mentions he likes to fight at random times in the game he even might compete for money and a good time and would make TLAD more fun as it already is with the gang wars and illegal street races. Algonquin Assassin 51,126
I think cage fights were fine for Luis due to his underground fight experience. What TLAD should've had was parking lot brawls where instead of being confined in a cage you're surrounded by bikers and their bikes that could be used as weapons. This also could've introduced a chain as a weapon.
