The weapon pickup hunt

Expect a video for each of these finds in a day or so.

 

Try and take a screenshot of each new location with an in-game time stamp. It may show that say 65 of the weapons spawn between 00:00 and 8:00 or a different set between 8:00 and 16:00, and 16:00 to 24:00. I think they might spawn similar to how the gang attacks spawn.

I did but it was deferentially there, I saw it when I picked it up.

I appreciate funs' work, but the hunting experience for me, has just died. At least I won't be wasting hours of my time looking for the Railgun.

I know the railgun is in the Alamo sea inside the merryweather cargo rubbish. In singleplayer. Found it a couple weeks ago

This is how it should have been from the start, particularly for more powerful weapons. You want them, you gotta find them first.

The essence of "through means of reward". I really like that. It adds extra gameplay time for me.

While it would be pretty cool to be able to bring a Railgun into Online it wouldn't be a great idea. Soon, everybody would know where it is and it'd just become a warzone if it happened to spawn.

Found molotovs in a little alley just slightly below the ramp which leads to the parking where you start the GTA Online introduction race, basically on the left of the asiatic temple style building.

I noticed that most bugs that appear in the updates happen a few days after the update comes out.

I've updated the list with the new info, there are 4 locations for the molotov cocktail - so maybe there are 4 x locations for each of the 50 weapons (=200)?

I haven't seen anyone posting a location for any of the heavy weapons yet, so I am not sure the RPG/Mini-Gun/Grenade Launcher are available...

I think they spawn in Public only, I was in Invite only looking for some of the already known weapons and found 0 of them.

Went into Public and found 1 instantly.

Why not just use passive-mode in a public lobby and go and grab them?

 

I don't know if they will be there if you are in passive, or not though.

 

When I went looking I was not in passive in a public lobby, but nobody bothered me as I wasn't in the city or had a bounty

Ah, ok - I didn't realise you were talking about the Merryweather office spawn!

 

I think they probably spawn somewhere else, but I also have had a bit of trouble getting them to spawn.

 

So far I have only found 2 weapons, one on my own (pump shotgun at the Beach Club at Chumash) and the Micro-SMG at Devin Weston's hanger...

Thanks, this is what I needed.

 

I've got a problem then, both of the PSN accounts I have played on since 2013 and 2014 won't spawn the weapons in public

or private session.

 

The PSN account I created this year on the PS4 will spawn the weapons all day which is the one I want to get the weapons

for my new characters anyway so that's fine.

Cool, so any idea why they do spawn in some locations for some players but don't for others?

 

I can only confirm what I have found on the PS4 so far:

 

2 weapons, one I found on my own (pump shotgun at the Beach Club at Chumash) and the Micro-SMG at Devin Weston's hanger...

 

If tails can confirm any of the others then we can say they should appear for others playing on PS4 (maybe also for X-Bone if the spawns are the same places).

Well I will have a look and see but I'm not holding my breath on finding anything, the next simplest to check should

be the baseball bat at the university so away to have a look now, will report in later as got daily duties et all to do still.

Came across some sticky bombs in the first accessible room on the left when you enter from the east at the dam.
