Valuing your self-worth with virtual currency is no life at all, my friend. Especially not in a game where you can just p2w or glitch/mod your way. I know people with over a billion. Doesn't really mean jack.

"Just don't look at it" is completely missing the point. I didn't look at it but now what's the point? The fun of finding out things, sharing knowledge and cataloging things as a group is gone. If we kept going even with all the locations laid out in a list somewhere, we'd be plugging our ears and going "la la la can't heeeaarr yooou". Hardly sensible. Plus, we'd just get people 'helpfully' adding in locations that they didn't find themselves, just pulling it from the list.

 

Whether or not I "look" at the list doesn't change the fact that the weapon pickup hunt is ruined like, two days after it even began because of a douchecanoe who just ripped the game apart looking for the answers.

This coding have nothing to do with finding the spawn locations so it won't ruin the "fun of finding things".

However it seems that R* have implemented this coding to add a blip to every spawn location with it's weapon icon.

If g_40001._f2451 (A tuneable variable) is set to 1 then it will execute the coding ruining the fun of finding things.

Currently g_40001._f2451 is set to 0

I'm not sure why they've added this coding, Is it because they want to ruin the fun of finding things or they are going to enable it after GTA Community finds all the spawn locations ?

Nobody knows.

Pump shotgun found at the beach club at Chumarsh, near the tennis courts (Map reference A2 (bottom left hand side).

 

I have checked all of the GTA5 Map (Los Santos side) areas A1 and A2, there is just the shotgun (oh and an Akuma) :santa:

 

I have also checked on top of the Maze Bank, Mile High Club (skyscraper under construction) the FIB, IAA, and the building with the helipad (and found nothing, except for the parachutes).

Found and picked up all the firearms and most of the explosives for my main character, who didn't even have the regular sniper, combat pistol, or micro smg equipped. Just need those El Burro Heights grenades, and one or more melee weapon picked up, and will have the full load out in case there's a zombie apocalypse in Los Santos.

Just to throw this in. The cavalry dagger is down the mine (left fork) where the body was found in SP.

Fun put out a list that was OPTIONAL to look at. I have used some of these locations to refill my ammo instead of paying a decent sum of money for sticky bombs or sniper ammo. Not everyone wants to waste their time looking for these weapons. We now know that the rail gun and stun gun don't spawn in these free roam pickups, which is something many people were curious about. Fun is doing what he's been doing for the past 2 years, digging through the games code to find useful information that could benefit players.

 

Relax, it's just a game.

Not that this is a problem for me, I am level 250 after all :lol:, but will these weapons stay with you if you happen to pick them up, say you're level 70 and you find the Heavy Sniper (which is unlocked at level 90), if you pick it up will it disappear from your inventory if you leave the session?

Probably will. The same used to happen for a while with the mini gun in survivals. After you left the session your weapons reset.

I know the railgun is in the Alamo sea inside the merryweather cargo rubbish. In singleplayer. Found it a couple weeks ago
