FWIW, we might have another weapon searcher out there--ran into a guy last night during a DM (heh; those Daily Objectives...lol) who seemed interested in checking out the weapon pickups.

If this is near one of the Sightseer locations (briefcase to the left side of the image?), I may have accidentally stumbled onto it a while ago. All I remember is that I picked up a shotgun running through/past some walls similar to the photo above in that general area. I'll keep an eye out for it as I'm doing Sightseer...

no briefcase in the image, the Bayview lodge is the one with a giant statue of a woodcutter, just west of paleto bay

Sightseer doesn't always coincide with weapon pickup locations, but the baseball bat I picked up did. I'll keep an eye out for it and if I spot it, will try and grab a screenshot...

Hopefully the next gta game has you actually find the weapons in the world. GTA Online has a weapon problem and that is being able to purchase every gun in the game. It would be more fun to find them hidden around the map and buy upgrades once you find it. Reminds me of the older gta games where you can buy them from ammunation after certain parts of the story. Or you can find an ak and use it "early" lol Missed opportunity by R* Games.

 

And if you found it it only had 1 clip of ammo. Like you could find a minigun and get 200 rounds.

I think I've got a new one for you:

 

On the observation platform, halfway up the eastern face of Mount Josiah, roughly above the railway tunnel, I found a Sniper Rifle.

 

I've also seen a grenade spawn in an upstairs room in a building on Grove Street, I'll see if I have footage.

 

Actually, I think I saw a Micro SMG in the fenced off area with the electrical equipment at the Observatory too.

@ HKM87: Good find! Whoever can grab a screenshot of this first, please post it, and I'll add a link to it--I'm assuming it's gang attack no. 12 (in the popular GTA Online gang attack map)? Please correct me if I'm wrong!

 

@ bombkangaroo: Also nice find! I say "find" because the grenade spawn in the upstairs room on Grove Street has already been found, as has the MicroSMG at the Observatory (links below, respectively):

I found a combat pistol behind a house with pool next to golf course in Richman inside this small building (sorry for the poor quality night foto)

 

 

i found it doing some import/export vehicles job (the stealthy one, u need to kill some NPC and take a electronic car-key from one body)

This list will now come in handy as I start from scratch money and ammo wise, a little challenge I set myself.

I've been checking this listing quite a bit over the past few days, and during my searching I think I actually found a weapon not already listed (only the 3rd weapon I've ever found without referring to the listing), so I'm happy to give a little something back to all who have put so much time into hunting all of these down.

 

I went looking for the MicroSMG at the Altruist Camp, but I couldn't load the picture provided, so I was looking for it on the back porch of the camp (the one with the blue tarp over it), assuming that's where it was (there are several items in this spot in story mode). I didn't find anything, so I swapped sessions and instead I found this Assault Rifle. I double-checked the listing and confirmed no AR was listed for the camp, so I guess this would be #15

 

I swapped sessions about 9 more times trying to get the MicroSMG to spawn once I figured out it's location, and the AR did spawn a 2nd time on the 6th or 7th swap.
