i had my asshole shirt unlocked by a modder a few weeks before transfering and while i have it saved in an outfit with a different color, the original white "asshole" shirt still in my inventory.

Is this PC? Just wondering as the info I provided may have been pre-PC or it may just be plain ol' wrong, it is why we are here after all,

Oh and did you get the Fake Dider Sachs one before you transferred and again you say it was in a crate drop, not from a modder? This is just a stroke or luck I guess, IDK

►New Running Back Adversary Mode in GTA Online Today

◆Today, Online has a brand-new addition to the permanent roster of Adversary Modes for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
◆In the spirit and tradition of American Football this Thanksgiving week, we present a new mode entitled “Running Back”.

◆Two teams (a total of 4-8 players) square off from opposing sides of a roadway. The elusive Runner, behind the wheel of a Benefactor Panto, must go the distance and get across the end zone line at the far end of the highway with the help of their offensive teammates in BF Biftas. Meanwhile, their defensive-minded opponents (also in Biftas) must ruthlessly block, crash and pummel their way to try to stop them.
◆This new mode is available at three different locations: Raton Canyon Bridge, La Mesa Bridge and Zancudo Tunnel.

What I choke on the most about R* is their attitude of essentially dictating to us "how to have fun" in-game. I see elements of this in Heists, the Freemode Events, and Lamar's missions. I don't need cut scenes of creepy Lester and arrogant Lamar, etc. holding my hand and insulting my intelligence, or listen to their drivel about my being a "mute". Stop wasting time with the mocap hardware and use it to fix long-standing bugs, check for freshly-borked code introduced with each update, and add simple features that players have been asking for for more than two years; like weapon defaults.

 

Stop acting like a soccer mom telling us how to play our game. You create the world and the tools; let us figure out how to have the fun.

 

Examples of giving the player more freedom are the original, simple missions: as someone else said, all R* needs to do is say, "Here's the goal; go do it." That gives the player complete freedom to tackle it in numerous ways and styles, provides some grace through an extra life--because that's needed; not a instant draconian fail--and keeps game play fresh as long as possible.

 

I always thought that heists would be another open-world experience with endless possibilities of approach and completion. Instead, it became another exercise in pre-meditated hoop-jumping.

 

Player freedom is what open world games ARE. The creator makes the world, and introduces elements that the players themselves then decide what to do, or not do, with.

 

Until R* learns to simply let us create and enjoy our own--and give us the reasonable freedom to do just that--they'll keep tripping over their own shortsighted intentions.

I see where denture dynamite is coming from. On the other hand, gta v has an ocean of content compared to gta iv. I hated iv due to the lack of sh*t to do but loved that i had to use a little imagination to entertain myself. So we really shouldn't complain about the small things since their last game was just awful. No frequent updates, no actual rewards, an entire open city with NOTHING TO DO. NOTHING. Except drive around and honk at your boyfriends to get in so you can be bored together. So seriously, why complain?

Only just noticed this after getting back into GTAO recently, but ...anyone else finding that the vehicle chase (third-person) camera now reverts back to the closest setting when leaving LSC?

By which I mean, there's four basic camera settings for both characters and vehicles: 1st-person, and three 3rd person ones - closest, middle, and furthest.

I'd normally have 'middle' of those for characters, and 'furthest' for vehicles, and right up until recently, the game would remember those preferences. But now, I'm noticing that while my last-chosen character camera stays as whatever I've chosen, every time I back out of LSC and I'm in 3rd-person, it'll automatically switch to 'closest'.


Not sure what's causing this - possibly the new menu option at LSC that means you have to select 'exit', rather than just hitting 'back' on all the menus and leaving automatically. Still, it's a minor oddity, definitely...

I get this all the time. From finishing a mission, switching sessions, you name it. Mildly irritating as I prefer the furthest away setting.
