OK what has "The Lowriders Update" changed?

NPCs flying planes in missions now always seem to get stucked in the air. This goes for The Los Santos Connection and Extradition for example. The planes freeze in mid-air until a player gets close enough.

 

So many missions are so damned glitchy, it literally feels like 20-30% of them are unplayable. Some regularly say mission failed right at the very end when we passed it, probably half the time.

 

Make sure you hit the checkpoint before taking out the crew and blow up the trucks in Trash Talk. Same for No Hay Bronca. Afaik those two are the only missions having this issue - since ages.

However, the plane thing is new. Iirc, it even affects the Lazers in the EMP setup.

I`m not sure if this is good or not. The supplier in TLSC can't escape, noobs can't fail Extradition anymore. Makes those missions randumb- and almost failproof, but a plane sitting in mid air looks pretty stupid.

Seems like helicopters are ok, the one in Chop-Chop still arrives at its waypoint.

So this still happens when trying to call a mugger etc with the Expanded Minimap enabled. And the Support Forum won't let me post, because Rockstar.

 

 

It's only been like this for 3 or 4 patches now... Does anyone at Rockstar actually understand how to run a QA department?

Well, if it ain't started, it can't stop. Go to the gasstation next time and instead of placing stickybombs, watch the show with a sniper rifle. Depending on how your teammates play, you might be able to snipe the Titan from there while it is stuck in the sky.

When playing with randoms I snipe the titan from the gas station every time, 10 shots to the engines. You don't need to wait for someone to enter FZ.

 

BTW, the mugger has plane issues too. Possibly it's the same one - they raise the undercarriage too soon:

Reacting to your post, I jumped online (where my slot 2 character had the flashlight) loaded into my slot 1 character and bought the flashlight just 30 minutes ago.

 

Had you previously purchased it and then lost the Flashlight with your slot 1 character?

Just curious, as all of the other Halloween content is gone, I cannot purchase any of it for my Slot 2 character, I didn't purchase it and now I can't. This is why I posted it.

 

No, my slot 1 never had the flashlight before today. I saw your post and had that "Aw ****!" moment. I had only purchased the flashlight for the Slot 2 during the event.

 

The only other variables that might have had something to do with it are - both characters still wearing Halloween face paint, and a mis-mash of the content that was purchased between the two characters.

 

All I can say is...

I mean at least until we have someone else who has done exactly what you did or maybe even the opposite, you know bought it for slot 1 but not slot 2.

You have always had to deliver the number of bikes equal to the players in this mission, it was a glitch that the game never registered the bike after it was blown up.

 

Only way to deliver 1 bike or less now is have the other player die during the mission.

Idk if others have reported this, but the freight trains have been glitching out. I was in a Friend Session yesterday where the flatbed and box cars were glitched into each other, and two train engines were glitched into each other at the front. I'm gonna edit the footage of it later today and post the video here.

It's only an option in Benny's. Loads of people were moaning about it when the DLC dropped for not being available on the regular car without upgrade. Ironically it spawns with the bulge in races.

The face paints, masks, vehicles, horns, and bobbles, I did purchase between the two characters during the event, just missing the flashlight for Slot 1 before the end. As shown in the screens, I had to make a choice over which paints and masks I liked the most. I have yet to check my masks and bobbles availability post-event.

ideas from LTS and DM jobs I've been a part of.

i had my asshole shirt unlocked by a modder a few weeks before transfering and while i have it saved in an outfit with a different color, the original white "asshole" shirt still in my inventory.

 

same with the fake didier sachs(D$), that one dropped in a crate drops during igg 2 if not mistaken.
