I've used a cargobob with no hook whatsoever, found out after 10 minutes of trying in the dark to pick a car up. I've also started to find on a couple of heist missions the sniper fire rate has delayed between shots, it returns to normal in freemode. Ooh, on more thing is when you have a PV out and get in a garaged PV, as soon as you pull away, the original vehicle is replaced before the leaving garage cutscene plays.

Not sure if its an existing bug, or directly related to the Lowriders update, but last night I noticed that the darkened side windows of a Vagos Peyote (one of its variants) I grabbed disappeared when I brought it into my garage; didn't use to happen.

side windows on the open top peyote and manana have always appeared/ vanished at will. Sucks.

Don't know if someone mentioned this but all the gas tanks on Method in the Madness are invisible except for the white one. So the only way to destroy them is by throwing a explosive at where they are supposed to be.

The propane tanks on the driveways of El Burro Heists mission are gone ! Blowing them up was the most enjoyable part of the mission and it took out some gang members flinging them all crispy and fried into the air . Why did they remove that?

Benny clearly has had to scavenge all over San Andreas for gas to fuel welding and brazing for all the lowrider rebuilding that has been going on.

 

Some other actual changes, at least on PC, that I haven't seen mentioned before:

Exiting LSC requires a slightly different key sequence than it used to; I used to just be able to repeatedly hit esc. Now I have to confirm exiting LSC with a return. Just a minor annoyance until I get used to it.

Tire/wheel options are organized/labeled slightly differently in LSC, and to my eye, it is much clearer where things like BP tires are now.

 

The more annoying change, which I don't know if it's intentional.

I usually use Expanded radar (in settings). I prefer the expanded map for free roam and all driving tasks on jobs (missions/heists/etc). In the past, when on foot on a job, the map would typically zoom back in, which was often more useful. Now at least most of the time it stays expanded, which is not helpful if you're trying to do things like find a weapon pickup in a DM.

just found another thing that is changed....

 

the cargobob is now 100% useless. You can't even pick up the Faction lowrider with it. You can get it hooked up, but within 10 second it disconnects from the hook and drops to the ground. So basically you can't lift anything with it anymore.

I was able to pick up a crew mates T20 yesterday. I took it from East LS to the top of the Maze Bank Tower without an issue. Maybe there is an issue with the Cargobob + vehicles with hydraulics in them?

I've not received any of them yet. They're not showing in my wardrobe when I go to my closet and look under Hats, and they're not showing under Accessories either...

Seems to be buggy. Got the first cap, but did not receive any special Benny shirts even after completing the Lamar campaign twice. We probably get everything sometime anyway.

Daily objectives might reset now when you have completed none of them and switch lobbies. Not sure if the streaks are working right now. I`m pretty sure I did not get any bonuses for more than a week now.

So approximately one million for a pretty much fully modded lowrider is outrageous, in a game with cars costing millions before upgrades? and planes multiple times that.

The overall cost is negligible, IMHO, you can have a lowrider for 400k. And i also think it's cool that you can have most of the cars for under 40k.

Are you sure you checked under "Special Hats"? Have you tried to wear them through the interaction menu -> inventory -> accessories -> hats?

But yeah, sometimes these things are buggy and they don't work. If you really want them you can try to open a ticket at R* support monday asking for the missing hats.

The Update is 8.096 GB....

Includes some of the Halloween stuff too. Heard from someone that the content was 1GB itself. Don't know what the other 7GB is for though.

 

 

You do NOT download 8gbs. The 8 gbs is a total of every single DLC for GTAV. Everytime we download a DLC it stacks ontop of other DLCs from the past. The next time we get a DLC it will show 8gbs + however many gbs that particular dlc is. So if the next DLC is 2 gbs (just a random number pulled out of my rear) the download screen will say 10gbs. Makes sense?

 

I think we really gotta make this known during the next hype train thread prior to the release of the next DLC.

Well, per the title of this thread: "What has the Lowriders Update changed". I'd like share a bit of info if it hasnt already for those of you that have an industrial truck fetish like me!

 

So far all the big trucks i've driven have been horribly slowed down! I mean to a crawl.

Even my fully modded Duneloader is just horribly slow.

 

The Barracks in Convoy set up is terrible.

The trash truck in Trash Truck set up is slow! I made it the last checkpoint with 34 seconds to spare when i usually make it with about 1 min 15 secs to spare.

 

The mid size dump truck similar to the recycle truck has been slowed down as well.

 

I've yet to try the Phantom or the cement mixer. And the city buses seemed to have been slowed down a barely noticeable bit. I can tell cause i'm the lone lunatic that prefers all these vehicles over all the other super sports crap lol!

 

The Pegasus Dump Truck (the 1 mil one and yes i have one lol) seems to be untouched. Well that one couldnt get any slower.

 

Oh! I wonder if the tank got nerfed too!?

Anyways, that's my report.

Correct. I linked a video a few pages back. The music is indeed much different, and depending on opinion, better too.
