Did it on my Bati. Thank God for the arches up top at the end. Damn near decapitated me, but saved my bike from taking a dip.

I'm new to these time trials. Do you only get paid once, are can you keep doing it and getting paid when you beat your time?

You only get the $51k one time. After that you get $1-$2k for beating par.

Took a few attempts but got it, I'll do the vid tomorrow. Once again reminded me, why the hell can't we do these in sessions by ourselves?

Haha the exact same thing happened to me.

I got 36.3 something using the batti and i am not going to do it again. A very boring time trial indeed. I also tried out to go outside of the canal at the end and try to shave off a second or two, but it didn't really helped. Though i was being very lazy and i don't even have a Hakouchoo, so who knows really. Here's a pic of what i mean for those who would like to try it.

I doubt it'll work but who knows.

Z type?

Nope. First car I tried. It doesnt have the acceleration for this. I may try it again now that I have the line down, but it was way off before so it probably wont make it.

LOL! What's the point of beating the time trial, if your precious super car got into the water? You'll end up paying more to get it back than the reward.

This one seem kinda easy, might get a bati to try.

I don't know why people keep saying this. For months now (maybe since the heists update?) I haven't paid for a car when putting it into the water. Blowing it up, yes; destroying it in impound by calling for a new car, yes. Drowning it in the ocean, or a river, or the 18 inches of water in the LS drainage ditch, no. I'm pretty sure this was an intentional change - a kind of "no-fault" insurance.

Oh really?

What car did you use, and what time did you get? Where is your video?

Doesn't do that for me. It's the only time that I have to pay for my driving sins.

I tried that myself but found it slower than staying down in the river. I never got it 100% though, as I believe you could fly out at one point and basically "land" at the checkpoint, but I still think you'd lose too much speed.

Did it (barely) with haku, and broken dualshock. Might drive it a few more times, will try to beat the time or at least par. Easy money.

Don't brake after the goal, and aim for the pillars

I havent done any of these time trials tried one once but gave up because i crashed lol. Would have done them all if i knew the payout was so good. Is there anyway of completing all previous ones or does it just change and not let you do any previous ones? Thanks

The latter, I'm afraid. It changes weekly (supposedly) and you just get what you're given. We don't know what will happen when they're all done, but it may just cycle round to the start again and you could go at the ones you previously missed.

I haven't been online for a while but the Lowrider update got my attention so back I came. Anyway the Fort Zancudo TT was on the map for me for a couple of days and eventually I decided to give it a go yesterday. After quite a few failed attempts I decided to try it in SP until I got it down pat.

So once I was confident that I'd cream it I went online and low and behold the Fort Zancudo TT has gone from the map and this Storm Drain sh*t is laughing at me lol.

So will I get a chance to do any of the others that I've missed or are they just there for a short time until a new one pops up?

EDIT: Looks like my questions been answered ^^^^

It must be a glitch with your game man. Everyone else is still paying for insurance when we drown our cars. I did when I did my run.

Does lobby lag play into beating the par time? I used a fully upgraded Bati, and every perfect run I always ended a second over. It didn't matter how much I was doing wheelies. Finally got it using my Hakachu. These time trials would be a lot more fun if they were locked to a certain car class. Maybe one week you need a Super. The next week a Sedan, and so on. Right now it seems like they are more like "How fast can you ride your motorbike from point A to B.".

yeah really. It takes more skill to finish any of these time trials with a car. Car users can't wheelie and gain a speed boost at any time like a bike can, and cars only have curb boosts which only gives a small boost and you can only use it in certain areas cause you still have to have a decent racing line to get par times.

you wanted to know what car i did i used a t20 and got this

Grand%252520Theft%252520Auto%252520V_201

and I'm working on using the brawler but the closet time I've got was a 40.6

Huh. I'd almost like to see a poll on this topic. I don't drown my cars often, but I definitely haven't paid for it when I did, for quite some time.

Is there a way to start the time trail by getting a good run up to it and as soon as you hit the purple circle bash right on the D pad to start it while moving ?

No, you have to be stationary.
