I love racing and time trials, but have yet to do a trial in GTA. The feeling just isn't there.

Trials can be a quick 50 grand so that's the main reason I do them.

btw anyone got any tips of getting the hakuchou to wheelie at faster speeds? It seems like I can't lift the damn front tire anymore.

 

The only advice I'd give (and this works with *all* bikes) is to be pulling back anyway, because the slightest bump in the ground will give you enough air to lift the front wheel, instantly giving that extra acceleration.

 

Can't wait to give this one a go tonight. These are fast becoming my favourite thing.

Going with a Bati 801 RR for this time trial. Small insurance bill if it gets a bath.

This one is cake, got it in the first try with the Bati. I'd like to see more technical routes for these. Sort of bored with the "get on straight away and wheelie" approach most of these have taken.

Yeah this one was really easy for me. I was able to beat the par time on my first try with a 0:35.782

They've been getting easier each week. My times have been further under par each week so I'm hoping for something a bit more challenging next week. Still good fun though.

You shouldn't have to pay for cars dunked in the water. They patched that at some point. I pay for it when I accidentally blow up my car, or when I let impound destroy it, but not when I drive into the ocean.

Yeah. If you own a Bati or Hakochou and have done previous time trials, you should be able to beat this first try easily. There's no challenge to it at all, no figuring out the route to take, not even traffic.

My thoughts exactly. I suspect this one will turn into more of a competition with yourself, for the people that like to do their best at these things.

 

My question is, slow down through the water for a shorter route, or go the longer route with a higher average speed?
