Hello!

 

I'm sorry to tell this, but MEGA does not allow me to download the pack. It stops on 87% saying that I'm out of quota (but I didnt download anything from there today). Could you please upload it anywhere else?

Thanks, but I dont have any pack at all since I have lost them after last Windows reinstall. So the update itself is kinda useless for me :(

Is it possible to upload the whole latest Standard pack to google drive?

I've cleared the CLEO folder already for just SAAS, but I also have .asi plugins in my main folder and I used a bug-free sound overhaul.

 

Better to try it on a fresh install.

I'm not sure wether or not it was actual the new .cs, as I seemed to have "forgotten" something with installing the opcodes.

 

I knew what I changed so let me check it out.

 

EDIT: Yes it was the .cs file, so thank you so much for looking into it, works great now. I thought for a while it was because I didn't replace classes.db with classes_NEW.db, but that didn't seem to be the issue.

 

Works with older versions of CLEO as well so I don't have to remove half my mods, which is fantastic.

 

EDIT2:

 

It's great a lot of good placed sounds, but some rather weird ones, I was really expecting to hear music outside of the dance clubs in LS and SF, but there isn't any D:

 

Also at the parking lot of the tennis court in San Fierro there is a very small piece of a lot of pedestrians talking, even though not many spawn there.

 

Can you re-upload this fix link? I also have the MP3 Files Missing issue

No fix necessary. You probably mess with SAAS folders.

 

- First : make sure you have gtasa.exe 1.0 (HOODLUM) and the latest Cleo library installed.

 

- Second: pick either...the Standard or Lite version.

 

 

a) SAAS.CS goes to CLEO folder.

 

b) SAAS.INI goes to CLEO folder as well.

 

c) newOpcodes.cleo goes...again...to CLEO folder.

 

d) drag the whole CLEO_SOUNDS folder (which containg all MP3 files) into...guess what...CLEO folder !

 

 

Then...download the SAAS UPDATE...and do the same.

 

 

Just that....it's very Plug-and-Pray ! :lol:

I have the correct GTA SA version, I put all files in my CLEO folder (with latest CLEO version) and of the update too... Still nothing. Could it be that your mod doesn't work on SA-MP? Because I only play SA-MP and I tried on SA-MP, not single player...

i asked because this mod too add sound files to game with a cleo script that alter sounds during rainy weather (actually it's a bug fix - the author says).. so can u check it out and confirm...

This mod is "compatible" with SAMP (for me, in 0.3.7) in the last release, but the volume is too low so a fix from pop legal (the dev) is probably possible... !

What's with the influx of SA-MP users? Go ask SA-MP devs, they're the ones who want to be special and not work with modders.

Where in-game? You're supposed to hear them on the street, although it sounds kinda unrealistic. I'm thinking of swapping these sounds for something else.

When I start the game I get a CLEO warning- "Could not initialize BASS sound system". After pressing "OK", the game starts, but SAAS doesn't work. I am fairly sure this error only happens after enabling "Creative ALchemy" for the game (meant to be for hardware acceleration audio but I'm not even confident it works at all). I have tried to look up a solution, but no luck so far.

 

I do enjoy the mod quite a bit and think it adds to the experience; however, it seems pretty "disjointed" sometimes, like how when you pause the game, the sound pauses as well, but when you alt-tab out of the game, the sound resumes once more. Can anything be done in this regard (after getting the mod to work again at all, I mean)?

Drag and drop in a folder within modloader folder, install both modloader and cleo first though.

 

After that an easy way to check if it works is leaving the settings within SAAS.ini at default and see if the radio turns off when entering a vehicle (or just go to the ferriswheel in LS and music should be playing there).

Radio goes off mostly, but most of places sound same ambience, can't hear sound of animals, birds (mostly in beach), dogs, etc.

 

If you have the mod, please send some SS of your folders and files, so I'll know the exact way how I should arrange files/folders.

Just install cleo from:

cleo.li

 

then install modloader (latest stable release) from:

http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=25377

 

after that drag and drop the files from this mod into a folder called SAAS (or some other name you want) and put that folder in the modloader folder that's in your gtasa install folder.

Can you make sounds get disabled inside interiors? Many interiors (maybe most of them) keep the ambient sounds from the road enabled inside them. It's so noisy and annoying inside, while interiors are supposed to be quiet, especially houses.
