Lowriders Coming: October 20th

OH MAN i hope cars do that thing that they did in GTA IV that everyone missed. the thing where the engine stays on when you get out of the car and you can turn it off by holding down on the exit car button. thats a thing thats been wanted for a while

I haven't played GTA 5/online since the end of May i haven't even played ill goten gains part 1 yet because it seemed like the same old sh*t. This DLC seems like a breath of fresh air for this game and it needs it badly. I hope they do these meaningful updates more often so it'll keep people intrested and make the game more fun. I'll be coming back today to earn some $$$ for this update. Has it changed a lot since May?

I have a feeling theres going to be a part 2 to this update next month, bringing some of the others vehicles we saw on Funmww2's list, or we might just get lucky and have then on Tuesday as well.

Problem I'm having is that I'm gonna want to have a nice clean version of each car and a pimped out Lowrider version of each car.

The cars will probably be overprized as f*ck. Like for the Voodoo 200.000 $ etc.

 

The new things are probably only for Lowriders. Like the interior customisation. And since I am not paying 200k for a lowrider just to customise its interior.

 

The Lamar missions will probably be 4 player missions...f*ck no...not this sh*t again...

 

EDIT: And if you have to play the missions to unlock...double f*ck no.

Rockstar's announcement mentioned "taking your junker" to get customized... I'm going to bet that you can use the junker VooDoo which can be stolen off the street and stored. Probably the same is true with the Tornado. There's no junker version of the Buccaneer or Chino, but I highly doubt Rockstar is gonna charge a ton for the cars when the mods will likely be expensive by themselves.

Well it depends on how you look at things. The last two updates with cars had them for 1.8 and 2.2 million dollars. $200k is a drop in the bucket for a lot of players that played x2 heists.

 

The lowriders are all Muscle/Sports Classics/Sedans which are my favorite classes.

 

I prefer mission locked content. It gives me a reason to play with other people.

don't worry about the prices of the cars, they probably gonna cost around $50k - $150k (I know the Chino is over priced lol)

 

but the customization is gonna be the expensive sh*t! I think you're going to need at least $700k to get your car fully customized!

what really suprises me is the fact that even people who don't like this theme are still very positive about it and hyped for it . It's like a new section of this forum is reborn

I'm not into Lowriders at all but the fact that Rockstar is giving significant attention to one type of car culture means there's hope for the others.

 

I would be happy if they just made some better options for muscle and classic cars. You know, make superchargers available instead of turbo only... Let us put fatter tires in the rear... Stripes, bass-boat paint jobs for the 70's hotrodders (iPhone tried to autocorrect that to "hot toddlers"... wtf)...

 

Custom exhaust that actually changes the way the exhaust sounds, maybe even the ability to adjust the height of the front and rear suspension independently so you can put a badass rake on your favorite muscle car.

please apply for rockstar and become a dlc developer. That would be the BEST update yet.
