Why can't LG players understand that the problem is that it would literally take up too much memory and not that it would cause extreme lag and crashing.

 

Is it really that hard to realise that the capacity of a 360/PS3 hard drive literally isn't big anough to store all the new content. I'm pretty sure that the 360's biggest hard drive capacity is 350GB or so, 75GB or so is probably reserved for hardware and software functionality, I don't know about the PS3, I've never owned one.

 

The capacity of the hard drive in the Xbox One is 500GB, about 138GB of that is reserved for hardware and software, which leaves you with 362GB of free space. After all the reserving has been taken into account the Xbox One has roughly 90GB more than the 360. It's no surprise that the One can hold more content, as well as the PS4 since they both have 500GB hard drives.

 

If this doesn't clear up what you cannot understand then you're either in denial or a troll, if you're either then just go away because you're just making yourself look stupid.

The fact of the matter is that these people are going to be upset no matter what, and there is no solution if they aren't willing to accept the basic fact that technology becomes obsolete with age. I understand how last gen players feel, and I'm sorry, but there comes a time when you need to accept reality.

Maybe the hydraulics will be controlled by the horn button and you can toggle between having it be the horn and hydraulics in the interaction menu. that seems reasonable

 

also: now that the moonbeam has sliding doors i hope they retcon sliding doors onto the vapid minivan

I'm thinking the hydros are controlled by holding right or left on the dpad (same as convertible roofs I forget which one it is)

People will get upset yes. But less so if the game was just added to CG only. Did you know the Mad Max game was going to also be for PS3 and Xbox 360, but then canceled? And yet you don't see everyone running around with torches complaining. The problem comes into play when they released GTA V for LG, then released it CG and then said "Ok, buy the game a second time to get more stuff". I'm not upset with the fact LG can't handle the DLC, I'm upset that R* didn't handle it properly and now we got this big LG vs. CG issue going on which wouldn't exist if they just made GTA V CG only.

Not pissed as much as this situation. It's a guarantee as a game dev when you make the next game you make Next-Gen only, you'll piss off some people. However, you'll piss off alot more people than that if you release on both LG and CG then play favorites.

Actually it's RAM that prevents the bigger DLC's for LG, PS3 and X360 don't have as much RAM as CG consoles. The Xbox Elite uses a 500GB hardrive with roughly 60GB for system stuff giving you about 440GB free so unless you download stuff off the marketplace like a mad man or you only buy games digitally you probably would have enough hardrive space for a few DLCs.

Not pissed as much as this situation.Did you consider that maybe there are less people pissed off about the Mad Max situation than GTA V because the latter has a significantly larger fan base? I would have been furious if Rockstar was developing the next GTA for my platform of choice and suddenly said "nah we're dropping that," but I really wouldn't mind missing out on Mad Max. Obviously I don't speak for everyone, but we both know more people have played GTA V than Mad Max.

I think less people were angry about the Mad Max situation since it was canceled LG-wise early on, thus nobody had invested anything into it yet thus had less of a reason to be as angry. Even if the fanbase is smaller, the hatred seems to have subsided considering no one is complaining much about it now.

 

As for GTA V, it'd depend on the situation as to how angry people got. If it were decided early on to be CG only, then there would probably be some annoyance by everyone. If it was just around release, then it would definitely be a problem. If R* decided from either the beginning or early on it'd be CG only, then people would probably get annoyed by it, but then it would die down after a bit similar to Mad Max.

No. It's right there behind where Franklin meets Lamar with the yellow car. I've already been there and even the pavement matches the pic on sc. Somebody else posted pics of it earlier. I don't know how to post pics or I would show you. It's exactly where I said it is.

 

Glass Heroes Auto Repairs is the name of the place where Franklin meets Lamar. It's the red and white brick building directly behind Glass Heroes. The shop entrance shown in the pic is on the opposite side of the building from Glass Heroes, on the freeway side of the building.

A 980ti costs $670... so not sure what you think constitutes as a nice PC. A console is without a doubt a better option in terms of price.
