Make the Tampa $200,000 (God forbid) and give it a ton of mods to where people would blow through $400k or $500k to mod it, yes, R* would drain bank accounts necessitating funds. T20 levels, no but it'd be a moderate seller.

 

There is a sizable muscle car fanbase in this game. The car would for sure be more popular than the Rhapsody or some DLC cars (Bravado Paradise) that have disappeared from regular use.

 

If we are taking about draining bank accounts and what is coming down the pike. With the upcoming lowrider mods, let's see how much R* charges for them. After $80k chrome rims appeared, it'll be interesting to see what prices a fully tricked out lowrider will run you. $750k a million?

 

I agree it'll take the right theme to bring the Tampa back. The wait will just continue.

Prediction, Tampa soon to be released in a stock car/race update. In two two versions, stock car and regular Tampa. It comes online with stock cars and DoD from story mode.

It's very important for R* that DLC's leave the players with holes in their pockets. Not everybody has time to grind the game, but everyone wants that new sick whip so some ppl buy sharkcards. Tampa isnt exactly a car that they could make a lot of money off. Unless, R* has some kind of dope ass muscle car dlc in mind (and i hope they do), then i could see tampa return. Maybe in another Heist DLC too, as some kind of work vehicle, i dunno.

Um... One time? They haven't even said it properly. They've just said "there's not that much memory left for us to work" instead of "we're stopping LG support".

Brah, I've got my facts straight. If you've read the entire IGN interview and the posts that Rockstar has included with their newswires they said that by the time the heists were added they had almost no wiggle-room to work with for LG. And that they barely squeezed Ill Gotten Gains content in and knew there was nothing else they could add chiefly because of LG memory aka RAM in addition to the rest of the outdated hardware LG has.

 

I never said they were stopping support for LG, I'm sure they will support it for the next year until LG servers go offline, for I know at least xbox 360 is shutting down Xbox Live on Dec 2 2016.

As there isn’t enough memory available to add to the game on the older systems, we cannot make any more meaningful content updates without putting the entire game at risk.

No. It's right there behind where Franklin meets Lamar with the yellow car. I've already been there and even the pavement matches the pic on sc. Somebody else posted pics of it earlier. I don't know how to post pics or I would show you. It's exactly where I said it is.

 

Glass Heroes Auto Repairs is the name of the place where Franklin meets Lamar. It's the red and white brick building directly behind Glass Heroes. The shop entrance shown in the pic is on the opposite side of the building from Glass Heroes, on the freeway side of the building.

I'm definitely a part of that fan-base. I miss my Tampa like crazy. When BoGT was released it was seriously the only car I drove in GTA IV (outside of certain missions) from that point on.

 

I would also love to see the Faction and the Fortune make their returns as well. My first car was a 1995 Ford Thunderbird, so I have a real soft spot for the Fortune.

Well, holy sh**! I totally overlooked that! thats awesome! 1 down and 2 to go for me! haha I havent gotten the chance to read through the information or this thread thoroughly yet. I just read the official rockstar release and skimmed the IGN article. I jumped on this thread to share my enthusiasm about the update and got sidetracked when I saw the mention of the Tampa on the last page. haha

 

But yeah, I am so pumped for the update! Anything that adds to the vehicle customization I am all for! On top of the fourth property, new weapons, clothes and mission and now learning about the Faction, my hype level is sky high! Can't wait until the 20th!
