Still waiting on that Savanna!! Great update. Thought there was going to be a total of 12 vehicles in this update?? wheres the last 6?

 

I mentioned the same thing a few pages back. I'm guessing that they may add them in a future update, but who knows? They're adding the first 6 on Tuesday, so I figure that they will add the last six at a later date.

 

Yeah, I hope so... Maybe following the ill gottens way. One first, the other last. I just want that car to make the cut. THATS ALL.

Looking forward to this update--IMO may well prove to be the best update yet (or at least one of the best). Why?

 

* Fits perfectly with the context/world of GTA--how every update should be. Sweet.

 

* New custom garage opening up--awesome! We need more of this with EVERY update--will add some tremendous life and "color" to gameplay and the GTA world itself.

 

* Hydraulics(!) *bounce bounce*, engines, doors, car stereo systems--can you say detail? Where do I start? I'm seeing tons of potential gameplay, fun, laughs and yeah--wild and wacky glitches and new bugs (ahem) ensuing from this!

 

* New. (Lamar) missions.--Yes! Very welcome! About fricking time, too! REALLY looking forward to some challenging open-ended gameplay missions! Bring it on. Will squeeze every ounce out of these.

 

* Machine Pistol--will be really interesting to see how this compares to the AP Pistol; one of my all-time favorite weapons.

 

* Machete--would have loved to see something a little more unique (flamethrower/revolver?), but it's not another "generic knife", so I'm not complaining! Hopefully, some kind of weapons management/tweaks to the wheel are also coming with this update.

 

* Fourth property--I personally won't use it (at least right away), but tons of people have asked for it, so it's an instant win. Some people like more cars than I do, so...

 

* And, as always, am looking forward to (hopefully) several more pages of solid, practical bug fixes to GTA Online for all three platforms!

IDGAF about low-riders honestly, but I respect the attention to detail apparent in the screens. Custom dials? Steering wheels? Shift levers? Some serious work went into this. And a 4th property. f*cking FINALLY.

 

I wholeheartedly approve of this DLC.

- Code name of the next update is "LOW", DLC «IllgottenGains: part 1/2» were "LUXE".
- Confirmed. Lowrider Update is coming out on October 20th.

- Next update will add 11new cars:

- Faction, Primo, Chino, Voodoo и Buccaaneer confirmed. We can see them.
- Moonbeam (Did anyone else get a picture of a red Moonbeam when they first looked of the newspost? I saw its when I first looked earlier on but its not there anymore. The image was at this address ( http://media.rocksta...d/lowrider5.jpg) and showed a Red modded Moonbeam with the side door slid back with someone hanging out. If I could some how find a way to look into my Chrome Image cache I might be able to find a low res version of the image.)

I'd love to be wrong on this but by the sound of it, those upgrades could only be applied in that specialized custom shop and only for specialized vehicles purchased from the new website. It's nice to see them honor lowrider interior customization, though.

You know i'm the fan of the another thematic update, but...oh vee...

 

Features like lowrider suspension, showcase options like leaving motor running and doors/trunk open were also much requested and also implemented as a mod - so i guess R* takes good ideas from the community and actually listens in. That's nice.

 

I however don't like the fact that it wasn't provided to the LG and you know what - we probably won't see it in Singleplayer, either. As a PC player, i'm sure it will be probably be available anyway through mods.

 

Also, i guess it would open much more options for modders. We will see the Savannah and Hermes - the foundation is there.

 

What i strongly suspect: we don't get the Clean Voodoo as a separate vehicle, but rather we would be able to bring in the Rusty Voodoo to Benny's and restore it, like the Rat Truck. That might be pretty sweet.

I really hope i have enough money for this dlc, because all these lowriders looks awesome. The Faction will be the first car i'll buy because of 80's graphics and because i like lowriders based on cars like the Buick Regal and Chevy Monte Carlo.

The 4th garage the way I read it, is we will have it but not really access it like the others, I can store cars, I rarely use, that I own there. so thats a plus. o.0

Los Santos without Lowriders is like Vice City without palms and beaches. Glad to see them back.

 

TEC-9, machete, expanded tuning on existing vehicles? Sweet, I was annoyed how some cars didn't have customization options at all like Carbonizzare but Buffalo S or Elegy RH8 did. I hope that new parts and hydraulics will be available to more than just newly added vehicles and that this update will be available in Story Mode too.

 

Missions and new heist are a good thing but I still think it's reanimating corpse. GTA Online needs more missions available to trigger on fly rather than creating new session like Freemode Events.

I hear ya, but IMHO there are distinct advantages to playing missions without being interrupted by other in-session players.

I may buy a low rider or two for my secondary male character...but my primary is a super girl!

 

I'm mainly excited for a 4th garage (I want mansions someday but a 4th garage works in a pinch) and for the machete...after looking at that thing mock me in the glass case for so long, now I can finally start slashing some folks.

 

New clothes and hairstyles will always be welcome...I'm really happy about this update.

 

I also can't wait to see what the new Lamar missions will entail.
