I'm replacing the models of low quality of the game gta san andreas for high-quality models.
Questions:

Look at this :

 

Conversions from one Rockstar game to a GTA - Old or new this is allowed on any scale. You can convert models/textures from a game like Max Payne 3 to GTA V, Red Dead Redemption to IV, V to SA, VC to V, etc..
Conversions from non-Rockstar games to a GTA - You can convert as much assets as you want from games created in 2005 and before, that includes the entire map of the game. The only conversions allowed from games created after 2005 are props. Props can be a tree, lamppost, chair, etc.. You are not allowed to convert things other than props like characters, buildings, vehicles, etc..
Content from websites - As long as it's under a suitable licence granting it's free use, then it's allowed as long as evidence of the licence is shown. Make sure to follow the requirements of that licence. If no license is provided with the content, include a link to where it was originally obtained
The rules allow the conversion of prop models.

I think the pill bottle from L4D would've been a better replacement for the health thing than the adrenaline shot from L4D, but still a welcome change.

 

E. f*cking dumb me, I mistook the adrenaline pill for health. Still seems a lot more likely for it to be a shot than a pill, even though it was never in SA.

I'll have a chat with the other moderators, but I might move this thread to the Workshop, since it fits within the criteria, and I think it is better suited than the Maps section (I think Other section is more appropriate than Maps too)

I will try add pre-light in the models.

 

 

The idea is great, but the execution is, somewhat, poor.

Yes, the models have more polygons. Yes, the textures are higher resolution.

 

However, the new assets do not look like the old ones; The silhouette from the models is different and the textures have different colors.

I can look past the different model shapes, but at least you have to try and match the colors of the texture. It doesn't take a lot more than the Hue\Saturation adjustment layer in Photoshop.

I do not have Photoshop.
And many models do not look like the originals.

The textures of the other models are already good.
But if you want, you can download the other models and edit the textures.
All textures can be edited to look more like the original models, but I do not think this is necessary.

Love all the progress so far! Also, for texture editing, Paint.NET is enough to mess with the saturation and other stuff on the textures + it's not hard to work with + it's free.
