Do I need to buy an apartment with a garage before I can purchase cars from the in-game internet?

 

You need to hit level 5 which takes an hour or so, IIRC. Probably less if you just do missions. You have to buy a garage but the dirt cheap no-apartment ones start at like $25K or so.

What would possibly block me from changing the race type and laps in criminal records?

 

I'm busy using this track to do rally races which I've been doing without much hassle but now when I host this race, I can literally only choose the radio station and split times. Nothing else allows me to change the settings.

If you have 2 chars delete one to make a new one, does this automatically sell your apartment and all the cars in the garage?

 

This seems to be the only way to sell your safehouse without having to buy another one first. I don't mind losing 50% on the safehouse. But it's going to suck if I don't get 100% back on all the cars in my 2nd char garage

ok, 3 questions:

 

1 & 2: Giving money to another player; my friend finally got around to playing online and would like to give him kindof a stimulus. I was gonna try the 'Give Cash' option but I noticed it's no longer there, so I withdrew some banked cash, told him to shoot me and reap the spoils. I had like 137K+ and he only got around $335. Am I to assume the hackers, cheaters, dips***s are responsible for this feature(s) to be disabled?

 

3: Headsets; I have a USB headset, it was like $15 and my friend couldnt hear me nor could I hear him thru the headset. I'm pretty sure I went thru the settings right, but to be sure I would like to know how I'm supposed to get it to work. Also, would a bluetooth headset work better than USB?

I've been having this problem more and more lately. It's not all the time but it's often enough to be annoying.

 

I'm starting to play a lot more (team)deathmatches and I notice either part way in or from the start I completely lose AA. Nothing I do in that match can fix it. It also usually carries on to the next match and only seems to correct itself if I back out into MP (not always) or SP (always). Seldom does it affect another in the same match with me.

 

So, what gives, any ideas?

The Out of Stock cars are the ones that were for the ppl that bought the Collectors Edition. I assume it will be the same for the Roosevelt once February is over.

I'm pretty sure you can start a private map or an invite only and then send an invite to your friends through xbox live.

You can only give a player money after you have completed something like an armored car heist, a bounty or robbing stores. I think selling cars too but I'm not sure. You can only give so much to one person until a later time. I know some people are setting up challenges and letting crew beat them but I don't know anything about that and anyone can get into the challenge and win it I believe.

Not sure about that but you can now sell bought cars in the mod shop.

If you want to level up pretty fast ask someone over level 75 to do rooftop rumble with you and is way faster. In fact send me a message with your gamer tag and I can have my fiance add you and help you gain those levels.

On the car pages on the net, these items are for special and collector editions. A player with the normal edition of the game cannot for instance by the hotknife - it indicates out of stock.

The Crusader is a vehicle that you call and order through Pegasus. You are unable to save the Crusader in your garage.

Yesterday i ranked up to level 75... I got the pop up things over the map telling me what little stuff got unlocked. Something got unlocked for a weapon, from LSC & couple clothes items. But the item that unlocked at LSC was "Chasis update 4" What car has that much chasis updates? I've only seen chasis updates been roll cages.. Is it the Karin Rebel? I've never had that car taken to LSC. Or is it the at the moment free to mod, Rat-Loader?

That is what Rockstar are telling us.

 

It is Rockstar though. For all we know they could consider February to only have 26 days. On the other hand they might also deiced February actually has 67 days and leave the content up for that long

I added up how much I added to my old Elegy (sports car) in terms of cost. Yes I was that bored and intrigued. It was $325,100. So yeah, expensive. Turbo and other car mods add up.

If you delete a character you will lose everything he owns. You do not get a refund on cars in your garage or your apartment.

It doesn't. Your second character will need to do all achievements to unlock them

If the car has a tracker on it and is insured then it can't be swapped over from one character to another as it is 'owned' by the one character.

 

Cars that you modify off the street, non-premium cars/bikes can only be sold for a maximum $10,000 with modifications, since the 1.10 patch.

 

If however you purchase them from the in game website, e.g legendarymotorsport. Then you can sell them in the LSC for a higher price. Which depends on the car purchase price and mods added that effect selling price.
