GTA Online Quick Questions

Right after the Beach Bum Package and 1.06 Update came out, I have notice my option to sell cars have disappeared! I can't sell any cars.

What Happened? and How can I fix it?

Two questions:

 

I was in a fist-fight with someone before and they were dodging my swings like a boxer, and then counter-punching. How do you dodge/defend when fist fightng?

 

How the hell does the weapons system work in those jet fighters? As I approach my target I get a long beep to indicate a lock-on, but then I panic and end up buttton bashing to try and fire my rockets. By the time I've fired, my target is out of range/sight. Also, if you press square it shows the rocket icon on the hud, to show it's selected, but what button actually fires the rocket and why can't I just set the weapons to rocket by default?

 

I just need someone to explain the sequence for selecting and firing the rockets.

My Question: If I buy A vehicle explosive from LSC for one of my vehicles then blow it up is it still insurable and if so will the bomb still be on it or do I need to buy a new one?

I'm pretty sure if you set an ignition or remote bomb on your car then someone else explodes it, you still pay the insurance -- but you get your jollies from seeing them explode.

You have to buy it each time after it's used. And you can only have one of your 10 PVs as a bomb car.

How are other players able to steal my car? I have full coverage and a tracker. Yet, players kill me and take my car. I am never able to take anyone elses car it gives a message saying i dont have access. Is there something im missing?

Go to your Select Menu,

Then go to Car access or something,

And then press X on PS3, or I think its Y on Xbox, to choose different Options

so ich you choose Noone, only you can enter your Car...

Hold down select to go to the quick menu.

 

Scroll down to vehicle access.

First they would have to have their accounts linked. The R* account allows you to set a privacy setting so you might not be able to see it even if they are. A lot of players don't have the same R* username as their GT/PSN.

Is there a way to avoid falling off walls?

 

Hold on, maybe I need to clarify that. If the drop from a wall is below a certain height your character will either drop down and do a forward roll or kind of sit on the wall and then drop down, but above a certain height he just seems to do this stupid fall thing and lands on his head.

 

Is there a way to get down off the higher walls other than just falling?

Yeah. I got that. What I'm wondering is how to get to another players profile.

^Oops, sorry mbhitman. You can search for members or crews by name at the top of the page with the magnifying glass icon. You might have to be friends with them in order to view their stats though.

I tried that yesterday but it only let me look at players that are my Social Club friends. I know it's possible to see other random players stats. People have looked up other glitchers stats from there before.

Been playing online for a while. I love it. The only thing is aren't you supposed to get the money another online player has on them when you kill them?

 

I seem to kill alot of online players and get nothing. The most ive found where ive killed someone is like 50$.

 

I find it hard to believe every person I kill puts every dime they have in the ATM.

 

Anyone have this happen?

I read somewhere that it would only be however much cash they have over $5000 but not to exceed $2000 but like you Ive never seenmore than $200 or so.

It doesn't work like that. The most a player will drop is like $200-500 no matter how much he is carrying.

 

So what is the point of the ATM then. Why put your money in the bank if say you have $50,000 on you and you get killed and only loose 200$? In the beginning of the game, the system worked as intended. If you were carrying cash and you got killed, you dropped it. And other players could pick it up.

 

But very quickly glitchers made Billion$ and started using it as a way to transfer money to other players. So Rockstar disabled the feature. They also disable the feature to GIVE CASH to other players.

 

Now it's set up so that you only drop a small amount, with the max being $500 when you die. It doesn't matter how much you are carrying. And the ATM are pointless. I carry around $200k on me at all times. It doesn't matter.

 

** There is 1 small use for the ATM. Players over level 50 have the option to call Lamar and have him send a Mugger to a player to rob him. The Mugger can take a maximum of $2000 from that player. If you have all your cash in the bank, the Mugger can't take anything.
