Hello all, 

I've reached the cap I wanted in GTA Online Cash-wise, now I'm looking to expand and rank up my character to higher levels. I'm looking at (obviously) the 2x RP and money events and in-game events... which is a no brainer of course. However, I would like to ask regular players and other members on the forum here, if they have their own methods/better ways to rank up pretty significantly? 

I mainly focus on money and my own methods of making such ... thought of expanding the fields a bit id focus also on RP and the great methods/ways of getting RP. 

Hope this isn't of annoyance, haha,

Don't forget to spin the casino wheel, You're bound to get RP, even the mystery prize gives RP sometimes.

 

The method I used is probably obsolete but here's what I did (back in 2017):

1. buy 4 (small) crate warehouses
2. buy a single crate for first warehouse, sell it immediately.
3. repeat for the other 3 warehouses
4. by the time you get back to the first warehouse, the sell cooldown should be over.

Sticking to double RP modes is probably less boring and grindy though.

 

But at the same time I have to ask: what is your current level and why do you want to rank up? There is no benefit to being anything over 200, especially on PC where you can still rank up with mods.

Even on console you'll get cheat accusations, and all this RP grinding is why I don't trust high ranks on heists, some of them are not nearly as good as some single digits I encounter.

 

If you're already level 200+, don't bother grinding RP, and concentrate on maxing all your character's stats instead. (strength, stealth, flying, lung capacity, all that stuff)

Hi, Thanks for the response! 

Always go to the Casino Wheel, RP is one of the more popular winnings I get, all set there! 

My current rank is 379 (when it actually should be 579 ... missed the character transfer 1 month after in 2017). It's more of to feel a completeness, It shows the true rank I should be at (if that makes sense). I also don't have anything else to do in Online, already have my money method, thought I'd see if there is methods to get really good RP along side the Casino Wheel and Occasional Sell Missions. Character Stats are maxed. 

Totally understand, players will accuse of of cheats, but really it's how long I've been playing the game. I only want to rank up 200 levels (if possible), I don't see much point after that, all just to gain the 200 levels lost on my xbox 360 character.

@Grinch of Los Santos The MOC missions are doubled this event, so doing those will help a lot, especially Mole Hunt with its endless enemies.

Oh yeah! I am not all that familiar, but does that require a public session or can that be done in a Friends only session?

Friends only and ownership of a Mobile Operations Center (and a bunker to own one of those). You also need one other player to start the mission with.

 

-edit- And you also need to have done a certain number of resupply missions for the bunker to unlock these ones. If you don't have this/want to do this, you can also just joins these missions on call and hope the random host plays it on hard.

I very suspicious of low levels with Op MK2s and toys that take $$ and paywalls to get. You see them all the time.

Then there is the other red flag. Your level 280 and asking please, pretty please! to kill me because you need to collect the $1,000 bounty I have on my head.

A lot of Players are very suspicious in this game!

Hi, maybe this is a known problem or bug, but when I press down on the d-pad (I'm on PS4), my avatar at bottom right corner doesn't update with my current GTA Online appearence. When I swap style it stays blank, and when I go back to offline mode it shows my old character's haircut (white). What am I supposed to do? Is there a solution for this? I've also tried to change my character appearence with the 100k GTA$ option, but the problem is still there.

Tell me the Mission Name. Yesterday I went to Blue Mark like a Exotic Export in Session. There was a Futo with 2 enemies. When I stole the Futo , a Message poped up.  It said If you give me the Car I give you a reword by The Boss. And I took $10k from The Boss. Whats this mission ?

It is a random event, like the ones in the single-player. It have 5 possible vehicles and several spawn locations.

Tell me how to fix Car Delivery bug.

Its Client Car Delivery of Auto Shop.

If I and Staff bring the car to Client , Catalogue Error happens by 100%.  If I explode or sink the car , that goes back to Auto Shop by 100%.  Help me.

My knowledge on exempt plates for vehicles might be outdated by many years, they're only for government vehicles (police, federal, fire and others) if my knowledge is correct.

 

Anyways, I have two questions about exempt plates:

1. Why do the casino limousines have exempt plates?

2. Why does Franklin's green Bagger in the Agency garage have an exempt plate.

I would also ask about the company SUV, but our new Agency is a public security agency (if I'm correct) and that would make the company SUV qualify for exempt plates.

Stone hatchet missions bugged since the contract dlc? I’ve completed this activity a few times on other accounts but since the contract dlc I’ve not been able to receive the email from Maude that starts all this off. Has this been removed or is it a bug?

Bugged since before that afaik, Rockstar f*cked up a lot of those 'small quest' things when they pushed the Cayo Perico DLC (idk how they managed to do it but those drunk-sleeping cayo guards and those parked drug vehicles overwrite a bunch of other things) and they never bothered to fix any of it, you are actually expected to contact R* support to complete half these 'quests' now lmao.

 

So that's also going to be my suggestion, try contact R* support, spend a few days going back-n-forth until you find somebody vaguely competent, then get the stone hatchet just given to you? Good luck!

When flying the drone from the arcade, there is always a light blue arrow on the map near the casino. Even on the mini map. Does anyone know what that is for?

If you're referring to this little arrow, that just indicates the player orientation.

Utterly useless, I know, but that's what it is...

There are/was other 'misplaced ghost' over time, like your safe dollar sign on the other side of map or you place waypoint and it starts somewhere downtown - where interior really is... That was super confusing when you dont know their locations

Because it's not classed as a "tuner". Blame good ol' rockstar logic for that one and many other tuner type vehicles that aren't eligible either.
