Is it still necessary to 'bank' your money?

Are there things you can't do with banked money that you can do with cash-on-hand, eg buy soda?

Not really but if someone sends a mugger after you, he can take quite a bit of what you have in hand...

I can't remember them all but some are: friends activity, and I can't actually remember any more but you get the idea...

Any notification that has popped up above your mini-map will be listed here, similar to how BRIEF works in Single Player.

 

This includes Kill Feeds, Players joining & leaving, bounties and a few others.

Commonly can be seen driving around in Rockford Hills, and West Vinewood including nearby neighborhoods such as Alta, Burton, Hawick, and Pillbox Hill.

The only thing I know you need cash on hand for is calling a taxi, but I think all you need is at least $1. Almost everything can be bought with banked money.

1 --> What does the orange 'On Call' box represent when I have sent an invitation to another player? I can understand them joining, rejecting, etc., but not sure about this one in particular. Does this mean they have already launched a mission/game-mode?

 

2 --> Is there a more convenient way of quick-searching for a mission/deathmatch with my friends? I hate having to search for one and quickly rushing around to send them invitations before the session launches. Alternatively, I have attempted to host my own session, but no public players join.

On call just means theyve accepted an invite but are continuing to freeroam until the job actually starts. Instead of sitting in a lobby.

 

Hosting yourself, click 'matchmaking' to open, and make sure you actually invite at the top. (Free aim mighht be your problem)

 

Invite only session will fix your friends issues.

I have a question, when I want to join a certain playlist or job I can easily get into it by clicking the specific playlist or job through the online menu but when I want to do that method with my friends it doesn't bring them with me, I have to send an invite, but I am not always the host, or sometimes it is already too full for them to join

So basically how does a group of me and my friends join a specific job or playlist or all together.

Last night I got a notification saying I now have a Rockstar T-shirt. I went to the clothing store and under Special shirts, I had a red shirt with a Rockstar logo on the front in yellow.

 

Did everyone get this shirt or did I do some sh*t to get it. Happened immediately after I killed a guy.

 

Apparently you win it now for getting a kill with the Gussenberg Sweeper -- though that's one of my favourite weapons and I've never gotten the t-shirt. Before, I only ever heard of R* shirts in relation to having a job verified (not sure if there are various styles of R* shirts though).

 

Are crates unlocked by a mission? I've never seen one.

Nope, They drop in lobbies you don't need to do anything special but there have been issues of crate not dropping because people are going inside the green circle and when you go inside it, it glitches and the crate doesn't drop for some reason.

 

So that could be it

 

You need to at least be a certain rank. Not sure what rank it is (probably pretty low) but my newb second character came across a crate drop-zone b chance once but the crate wasn't actually collectible due to the low rank -- the flare and NPCs were present however.

My best advice would be to just wait until it show up in Simeon's text and you'll likely find Prairies everywhere.

What do the different statuses mean when inviting players on a job screen?

 

Invited = Invited

Kicked = Kicked

Busy = Player was in free mode but has now joined another job to is not available for this one???

Rejected = Player has said deleted the inv on their phone???

What does 'commending' a player actually do?

Pretty sure that's just a glitch. I still see it and I'm 224 I think. I argued like hell health doesn't max until 105 but I see now it just endlessly shows that any time you rank up after 100. I think just about any time you rank up while not from a post-job RP screen (during free mode, mission, DM, etc) it'll say that.
