I have a question that isn't anything major its just a nuisance. I'm wanting to post pictures from my snapmatic. I'm able to post a link but that's it. When I put (img)link(/img) (i know its []instead) I always get the message 'you are not allowed to use that image extension on this community. Here's the link http://i.imgur.com/gL9v8IG.jpg it aggravates me because other members can put (img) link (/img)where my link would be in the middle. it works fine for them. but doesnt work for me. Can somebody help me out... Just to let you know Ive been trying to post pics here for awhile with the same result. And i guess my next question is can you only post pics from a computer? Well thanks for your time.

E: I can't explain why manually placing IMG tags isn't working for you, but have you tried posting pictures with the assistance of the Image option?

 

Copy the URL, select the Image option when replying, then paste the URL in the box.

Yes, I was using a PC.

 

I just tested it out on my iPod touch and while I didn't get the message you're getting, only the link to the picture was posted instead of the actual picture. It seems like a silly mobile limitation, but try contacting an Admin in the Network Support section.

If your on a mobile or a tablet get the photobucket app or something similar. It will let you upload photos and then automatically make image tags for them. Its really easy and Im a caveman when it comes to technology. Give it a go, Im sure it will work out for you

You HAVE to use the in order for the picture to post using the (IMG) will not work but best thing you can do is get an app like Photobucket or Imgur and upload the pictures to there and you can copy the picture itself and paste it, or use the link but DON'T use the URL click on the picture and copy the link from there by Right Click > Copy Image Location > Go To Post > Type and the picture will post 100% of the time

What's the advantage that AWD cars have on FWD and RWD cars? And what would be the difference between RWD and FWD cars?

AWD cars are at an advantage in that you have twice the rubber contact through which to maintain traction, the "downside" being the increased grip will increase understeer and prevent oversteer. Scratch that, that's not quite right. AWD can be a blessing and a curse because, for any vehicle, any increased throttle input or increase in braking pressure to the tires decreases available grip, so having all four tires take additional throttle load, as they will with AWD, will decrease available grip from all tires as well. However the benefit comes from the fact that both the front and rear axles can be used to apply torque so where one axle may be in a compromised position the other can provide traction.

 

The difference between rear-wheel drive (RWD) and front-wheel drive (FWD) is where the drive shaft is transmitting the torque. It is easier to feel the subtle differences in a real vehicle than explain it on paper or experience it through a video game. Basically a driver is pushed by a RWD car and is pulled by a FWD.

 

Put simply, having the power in the rear wheels allows the rear of the vehicle to be controlled through the throttle in the form of excessive oversteer. With front wheel drive, having the power going to the front wheels means that pushing the throttle will decrease traction there, increasing understeer.

Yeah when you go to available classes in the creator you'll have a button input option called "Expand." It's square on PS3. It will go to a list of every vehicle in that category and you can pick which vehicles you want or limit it to only one specific one or whatever you want.

 

However, I think if the person hosting the job has custom cars on as an option then any custom vehicle in that class will be available, not just custom versions of the one vehicle you chose. I could be wrong about this but I remember having this problem. Maybe someone can back me up or correct me on this. My solution is to leave some notes in the description for people, instructions on how to get the intended 'game' out of it so to speak.

Yeah not in the creator. Seems like an oversight. No way to hard set traffic on or off either.

Its better to use Tinypic.com because it doesnt delete your picture if you remove them from your computer and it keeps the quality of the photo. You also dont need an account.
