One urgent question, If I buy a topless Coil Voltic or Invetero Coquette, can I add and remove a roof ? I need to know this because I want a topless voltic but I want to be able to add or remove the roof at will.

Voltic: Roofed or Roofless?

 

neither...it has good acceleration, but terrible topspeed...useless in most circumstances, and handling is not ideal either...it awkwardly breaks out on occasion (unpredictable), instead of being turismo tight, or adder slidey (both predictable). If you're getting one, i'd get the 9f (cabrio is nicer than hardtop, i have hardtop 9f)... but to answer directly roofed voltic imo

 

Im getting the voltic just for the reverse acceleration

 

Don't use the lowest suspention, You will fly and roll over once you hit the sidewalk.

 

 

It still happens without any suspension mods. Even litte bumps and potholes in the road make it spin out/roll over. The car is incredibly frustrating to drive IMO because even doing everything right and staying on the road will still make the car spaz out.

 

I recommended roofed as personally, i've noticed (might be wrong) roofed cars handle slightly better...carbonizzare handles worse with roof down, as is with sentinel etc...but yeh handling on voltic is occasionally nice, but it's not a predictable car, hence annoying

What is the difference between dropping and throwing a grenade when driving? Sometimes it aims it when I just want to drop one for anti-pursuit or driveby purposes.

I think this depends on whether you are moving or not when you click the "shoot" button (forgot which one it is) ...pretty sure if you're stationary, you can aim it, but if you're moving, you can only drop it (my observations, not confirmed )

I bought a topless coquette and i can remover or add a roof whenever i want from mod shop but i dont know voltic.

I can't buy a topless coquette/voltic in SP, I don't even know if they spawn like this in traffic. It would take hours.

You cant change the roof on a voltic but with a topless coquette you get the option to add/ remove a black carbon roof only. You cant put a normal roof on a topless coquette.

Yes it 4 x 4 and the Revbels 4 x 4 always worked. Only cars which werent originally 4 x 4 and were later changed to 4 x 4 (eg Sandking) were effected by the recent problem

Did you buy it prior to 1.07 update? because cars bought before then can not be sold.

 

The only other reason i can think of is because it was used in the commission of duping/money glitch. not saying you did just saying it as a second option.

He is correct, I believe. I didn't test it out myself also but a thread was made three days ago regarding this. Pictures supporting that spoilers effect traction are in post #11 of the thread by OP.

It's true. Take any car to LSC, highlight the spoiler you want to buy, and you will see the traction bar increase much like the way you see the acceleration bar increase when adding a turbo.

No it's not, the spoiler is nothing but a show piece, Think a spoiler is there to reduce drag not add traction to your car, It makes steamlining in a race better but it it doesn't help with the traction.

 

Just because the bar in LSC moves an 1/3rd of an inch doesn't mean it's actually doing anything and the spoiler thread was nothing more than what someone saw in the game and figured it helped with the traction besides why would it just now suddenly help with traction?

 

So no it doesn't improve traction and if it did, it would've been confirmed by Funwm2 and youtube videos made about it.

It's an old, rusty, dirty version of the Tornado, usually found in more run-down spots of the map such as East Los and Sandy Shores. They're not rare, but the convertible Mariachi version is. Edited June 23, 2014 by piper5by5

Have a friend who's done it before invite you to it, or hope it comes up in the Next Job voting menu after races, deathmatches, etc. I've seen it come up many times on there, but that might just be me.

With regards to the spoiler traction argument I'm sure there was coding that suggested handling changes when fitting certain spoilers in the latest update and I'm sure it was found by Funmw2.

I know from an invite only session or a crew session I can just go to new session and it puts me into a regular online session. But didn't know if it was possible to go from a regular session to a crew session or from a regular session to an invite only session without someone else starting it.
