Is there any maintenance I'm not aware of.

 

Character cannot be loaded error message coming up after timing out.

Getting into GTA online is working, switching characters is not a problem...BUT none of the missions races or anything will load , the only icons on my map are the normal white ones stores, ammunation, apts, tennis arm wrestling.......its freeroam activities only, i tried to walking into a tennis match since the icon was showing......got a message saying game servers not avalable ........anyone else seeing this???????????

ive noticed the blue markers disappearing randomly and quite often from mine, but they usually come back after a short time, or if the session is f*cked and nothing else is working correctly with no traffic and cars that are disappearing when you touch them then try and load a fresh session, usually fixes it for me. however if they really are working on missions, which i kinda doubt since the scheduled maintenance period was yesterday and is now over, then its quite possible they are disabled from their end and theres nothing you can do but wait.

Yes you can...

 

Get in your car and start up the car get out of it and punch the air and get back in your car and as soon as the engine turns over press Triangle or Y and get out of the car, If you did it right the engine will still be running.

 

This also works with keeping your headlights on too, It's the same way but you turn your headlights on get out punch the air get in and as soon as the engine/lights come on press Y or Triangle and if you did it right the lights and engine will stay running.

 

Sometimes it's hit or miss but you'll eventually find your sweet spot

 

I have never clicked the "Share Your Stories" thread. Ever. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

It's hit or miss really depends on when you decide to check in sometimes you'll find intresting and funny stories and other you'll find people bragging about how bad ass they are because they spawn killed a "lvl noobz fitty times"

so for missions how many rp bonuses are there? I know some are doing it with friends and crew... what else? Also, i am aware there is a bonus for not using auto lock, but do i just turn it off and get the bonus, or do i have to use a specific setting to get the bonus?

Just turn off AA in Story Mode. Afterwards, simply completing jobs with FA awards you an RP bonus (along with playing with Friends and/or Crew members).

Yup you will get 50rp per kill instead of 25 and if you do a mission with a crew member you get about 5% more RP at the end of the mission

Not sure. I just drive around randomly and they spawn.

No it says your an opportunist shooter and you probably have a tank.

 

You also have a higher probability to troll missions and wear the pogo mask! Expect to get kicked from mission lobbies on a regular basis.

You can find custom gang Voodoos in the gang areas. Search between Grove St and the apartment complexes the Families hang out at once the sun goes down and they all start hanging out on the street hurling insults and warnings at you as you drive thru.

 

If you wanted the junker version, I dunno a good method.

There are no gang or clean versions of the Voodoo.

 

The guy answered his own question. Go to Sandy Shores in the late evening and look around. Change sessions often and driving another rusty car may help.

I don't like reporting posts to the moderators unless something is super serious, but I will not allow one of the most helpful, and one of my favorite, threads become soiled with K/D arguments and people expressing their dislike with other topics.

oh theres a variety of ways ive seen players make themselves invulnerable to attack while still being about to kill others. Personally Ive been killed many many times by players who are completely hidden behind a wall or a tree with no part of them sticking out whatsoever and I cannot hit them but they are easily able to kill me seemingly through the tree or wall. This has something to do with the 3rd person camera view system that isnt lined up correctly with the weapon and body or something i think, it also happens with npcs. Im not sure if the people doing it really even are aware that they are even in that situation or not, I know I cant really tell if im every doing it or not, but perhaps im not. Some players try wall breach glitches and tanks but even they dont have that high of ratio. Ive run into quite a few players that i can shoot as much as i want who dont take any damage but easily kill me. Even some that you cant run over, its like hitting a brick wall, lol! Tons of cheaters out there.

 

There no way in hell you have that high of a ratio unless you just started playing your second character and pwned a few noobs with a tank. the players who ive seen in deathmatches are nowhere near that high of a kd, unless perhaps youre looking at your NPC k/d ratio and not the PVP k/d. Its rare to see it that high for a single match, even if they pwned some noob, let alone that high for whole career total. No one is that good legit. even homos who suicide themselves instead of letting someone else kill them cant suicide fast enough to get kills and never die by the other player at least half the time.

 

Personally ive not encountered very many people in free roam or in a deathmatch with over a 3.something and even then Id have to say at least some of those kills were likely due to some sort of unfair advantage type situation. All the 6+ k/ds ive seen are lvl 500+ and have modded it to say that and actually suck when playing for real as they dont have any experience actually playing the game. I just simply do not believe there is any way to achieve that high of a ratio, legitimately anyway, for very long. Maybe if youre new and spawnkilled some afk dude till he timed out, or a friend just let you kill them repeatedly, perhaps, but legit pvp without some sort of cheat/glitch advantage? not possible.

Haha. I see how it's hard to believe. I've only seen one other person with a ratio as high as mine. It was like 9.1.

 

Personally anything higher than 10 should mean someone with a tank or a spawn killer. Which I don't do. I think we should have different K/D's for on foot combat and vehicular combat. Because I see BS stuff like 112.56 K/D.

And not to mention Auto Aim. I play both free aim and auto aim. Alternate between the two. And sometimes weapons have incorrect range. Like this one time I had a shoot out around Grove Street and the Pump Shotgun couldn't kill anything more than a foot away. Later it could shoot enemies down a couple blocks. Wtf lol.

Hope this somehow explained the weird K/D.

 

And here is another question to stop talking about K/D: does anyone know exactly why cars like the Banshee and Bullet GT have no window tint options? They have windows. But the BF Dune Buggy has the option to change windows but has no windows.
