how to combat roll on pc with gamepad?

I could roll consecutively on PS4. It seems there is a brief waiting period of 3 seconds or so between rolls on PC. Does anyone have any tips for me? I can't figure out what's wrong. Thanks!

Last Friday night, when I was wide awake, I was thinking of you because a part of me unconditionally wished to help you out. In doing so, I realised I would give an international smile, for the universal cause, so by the grace of god this is how we do; aim and press space. Now you could use this moment whenever.

Press X on a X360 or X1 controller.

I'm pretty sure Katy knows what buttons to press. If you guys actually read her post you'd see she's having a problem with a 3 second delay between rolls.

 

Katy, I read on your PC topic that you were using the PS4 controller yes? Are you using any software like Input Mapper or similar? If so try removing the software as the PS4 controller works by just plugging it in as long as you have the 360 driver for windows installed.

 

I'm not promising a fix but there's no harm in trying. I never had that issue when I was using the PS4 controller on my system.

 

EDIT: I should have pointed out I'm on win7 so things might be different if your using a later OS.

The roll fearure is dependent on your shooting stat. If you started a new single player campaign or a new online character, then their shooting stat will be low and most likely be why you can't roll as often.

There is always that delay.

 

Did you happen to transfer your account to your ps4 from a ps3 or 360? Did you have that account modded.

 

The delay is there on ps4 and pc unless the account was modded to remove the delay.

 

BUT, the delay should not be more than a second or so.

Hey that might be the issue! I did not transfer my high level character from PS4, thinking I wanted to get a feel for PC first before making the switch. I'll raise the shooting stat on my test PC character and see if that helps. Thanks!
